The hotel looks great in the photos but was far better in real life. What a wonderful feeling this hotel has. I felt at home the moment I was dropped off from the airport. The staff were incredibly attentive - not in a overbearing way - they just seemed genuinely happy to help you. Grace at the front desk was the best host/concierge I've come across (and I have travelled a far bit). She organised a few tours for me with the absolute minimum of fuss - and they were fantastic tours. She must having amazing local knowledge. Big shout out to Mr Rum who was my tour guide to Angkor Wat. The way the hotel is set up around the beautiful pool is perfect. Also having the restaurant overlooking the pool made it a perfect place for either breakfast/lunch or dinner (or all 3). The food was so fresh - there wasn't anything I didn't like.

All the staff were incredible and the decor was as fabulous as only Bill Bensley can do! Special shout out to the National Tour Guide Sam that the hotel assigned for us for an entire day tour of the temples in Siem Reap, and our driver Rith, who drove us around with a lot of patience. Sam's abundant knowledge and love of his country and its history was so amazing, that we will definitely be back in Siem Reap. Other hotel staff were always on hand to ask us about our day, to get us everything we needed. We learnt about their trainee programs for new staff. Breakfast was great too. Overall a fantastic hotel!

Perhaps maybe the prices of the tour services were a bit on the expensive side. Would also be great if there were more amenities in the rooms - like toothbrushes, cotton buds, better lotion.

The staff was absolutely exceptional. From the General Manager Ewan who greeted us on arrival, spoke to us throughout the stay and the best overall my villa butler: "Son". I really wanted to take "Son" home with me, Son was always there when I needed him and even when I didn't need him, he was there. All of the hotel employees were so pleasant, with warm salutations each time we passed by made us feel at home. They even sang me happy birthday and gave me a cake. My private pool villa was just gorgeous, the space was huge and the pool was amazing. The value of every thing was perfect. I visited during the New Year which was pretty cool to experience. The hotel's Tuk Tuk driver Mr. Tong was also great. I shared my visit to Siem Reap on my social media stories and everyone knew Son by name, kept asking for him and couldn't wait to see him. I can't wait to bring a group of travelers back to stay at Shinta Mani.

Exactly like the pictures. Facilities are amazing, including turn down service. Staff are so accommodating and attentive. Breakfast was incredible and good variety of vegetarian options. Bed was good, they could do with firmer pillows. Staff planned a birthday cake for me, which was so lovely. Lots of places to take amazing pictures.

Barely nothing to not like. The bathroom could be upgraded, if I’m being picky. Bathroom products could be a little more expensive.

Breakfast was spectacular -easily the best we've had anywhere in the world and my husband and I travel a great deal. This hotel far exceeded our expectations - the value for money was incredible but absolutely everything about it is worth praising. The staff, the hotel itself, the beautiful pool area, and the quiet efficiency - all superb. In fact, it has actually spoiled our experiences elsewhere as it has now become the new benchmark for excellence.

Nothing at all

The hotel was lovely, but the highlight was the fantastic staff. They were so friendly and helpful in all situations. We felt so welcomed.

The food was decent but not exceptional, particularly in the casual restaurant where breakfast was served. The nicer restaurant, Kroya, was better.

Warm and attentive personal staff for the villa. We had Grace who was pleasant and efficient. Villa was beautiful and well maintained after Covid. Spa staff were also well skilled and restaurant staff were warm and friendly.

As it was rainy season, it was difficult to eat comfortably in the villa as the tables were all outdoor at the pool as well as at the roof top terrace.

Hotel is perfect well situated, people who are very very kind, two swimming pools with perfect temperature, very good breakfast, they have a foundation very engaged with the community, hotel offers the tours with guide.
