The room was large enough to provide comfort for my two week stay. It was clean. The proximity of the hotel to the C Train was excellent, allowing you to be in the centre of the town in minutes. The staff were friendly and willing to help any little need. It was a good hotel, which I've used in the oast and will use again.

Breakfast was a great let down in this hotel by using paper plates and plastic cutlery. The porridge was too often like water and really unfit for consumption. I had breakfast outside a number of times and when in the dining room brought my own plates and cutlery.

Loved how close it was to the C train. Rooms comfortable. Nice that there was an all day coffee station but would suggest a water station especially in the hot summer months. Would have been a nice touch!

Breakfast hours during the week should be to 10 like on the weekends as most people staying here are on vacation. Small pool for the price of the stay. Wish there was a restaurant or coffee house at the hotel.

The location was excellent 5 minutes from downtown , across the street from the C train which was so handy. Right on the junction between the number one and the number one A highways so very easy to get to from out of town when you're driving and get back out of town if you're heading towards the mountains! The staff was more than friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The breakfast was delicious and the underground parkade was great. If you're coming into town for a sporting event this would be your place to stay!

Wish there was a Starbucks close by ;)

I loved being adjacent to the LRT station which made it easy to come and go without any worry about driving or parking. We had a great view of the Calgary skyline. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. I didn't hear any noise from other rooms during the whole week we stayed here. The continental breakfast was acceptable but lacking variety after a couple of mornings. Fortunately, there are several good restaurants within a ten minute walk. We enjoyed the pool, waterslide, and hot tub. They appear to use salt for maintenance which felt great on the skin and eyes compared to a pool using sodium hypochlorite. The staff were usually very friendly and helpful.

There are laundry machines in the hotel but I they only accept loonies and on one load and I had to get reception staff to release the coins after the loonies went in but did nothing. On another load of laundry the clothes didn't spin dry enough and there is no spin only option on the washing machine, so I had to put the wet clothes in the dryer three separate 30 plus minute sessions at $2 each to dry them. Fortunately, staff did refund the additional expense but it wasted a lot of my time and energy. The pool, hot tub, and waterslide were okay but a bit small. So there wasn't much room to share with other families.

Very good breakfast- especially in a hurry - easy to get food, sit, eat, and onward. Easy to get to - options - car, train - close to a main road. Our case - close to hospital. Easy to remember Banff trail for address.

Being an out of towner - Martha’s a map of eating places or map of areas to visit - food, museums, points of interest.

They have the complete bath supplies such as shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, body wash. Plus these were all Dove brand with is good.

We didn’t expect that our room would be on the last floor which is 6th floor, considering we have booked our reservation in advance. With that, the wifi connection is too slow which goes on/off so we end up having to use our personal phone data during our stay. I don’t know if the hotel property should have any thing that they should return with us regarding this.

Proximity to the university was great. The breakfast was good although more fruit selection would be nice. The staff was very accommodating and friendly and our room was clean & appears to have been updated in recent years.

It is really close to a busy street and is a little difficult to turn into the parking lot. If you miss the turn you have to go quite a ways before you can turn around.

breakfast have variety of choices. excellent!!!... transpo to downtown is just across the street... and complimentary parking is available when you have a car.

the curtain does not shade the sun at night since we were there when the sun set at around 10pm. hard to go to sleep earlier.

Facility suited our needs location was perfect for our purposes

Using Booking.com created a great deal of confusion and issues with cancellations and any changes that needed to be made. Because it was a booking.com reservation the Holiday Inn had difficulty with making any changes for us.

The room is very clean, the hotel location and transportation are very convenient

The hotel's swimming pool is in poor condition. My two children went swimming in the afternoon and came back to the room at night with fever, pink eyes and terrible mood!
