We had an excellent stay in the Rocky Mountain Inn. The rooms were large and very comfortable, and the communal living room area had large windows looking out at the surrounding mountains, and was a wonderful place to relax and have our breakfast in the morning. There were a few perks that I wasn't expecting - for instance although breakfast wasn't included in the price, they offered a breakfast to go option for 5 CAD per person which included a croissant, yoghurt with granola, delicious freshly baked banana bread, fruit, and orange juice. I thought this was excellent value! There was also a drinks station in the communal area with coffee, herbal teas, hot chocolate, and fruit available 24/7. Although we never had the opportunity to indulge in this as we were out and about all day long, I was told that cheese and wine was on offer between 5 and 6pm every day which I thought was a nice touch. The staff were for the most part friendly and accommodating.

We were unable to access some of the services. For instance the laundry machines were both out of service at a time when I needed them most (after a 3 day mountain hut to hut trek with no showers!!), and although we repeatedly asked for our room to get cleaned, due to the reception staff erroneously not putting this request in the system, we ended up repeatedly coming back to a room that hadn't been made up. These were however small things and the general feel and vibe of the Rocky Mountain Inn was so homely and welcoming that I would stay there again with no hesitation.

The staff at the front desk was very friendly. Nice lobby area to sit and drink complimentary tea / coffee. Also wine and cheese was served in the evening, but we didn’t make use of this (but it was a nice atmosphere). Located near city centre and opposite good breakfast restaurant.

Sometimes the wifi didn’t work well in the rooms, it kept going on and off. No issues in the lobby, so it could have been the specific location of our rooms.

Even though we didn't use it, liked the wine and cheese offering. Great breakfast package. Nice having coffee and tea always available. Very comfortable beds.

Staff was welcoming but seemed stretched too far. Called before arriving to check location but no answer. No one at the desk on arrival. Were you short staffed?

The room was nice and quiet most nights. The coffee was excellent and great dining is very close by. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The room has a fireplace which would be very cozy on cold nights however, it was very warm during our stay and the gas pilot light was strong enough to heat the room forcing a constant running of the AC. I didn't figure this out until near the end of our stay. Once the pilot was switched off by maintenance the room temperature was perfect.

Love that the hotel was close to Hwy 1 Trans-Canada hwy & close to the Canmore Visitor Centre. Dwntn Canmore was a mere 2 miles away. Each room had a gas fireplace, which was nice. We were on the same side of a Tim Hortons & 2 gas stations! I say location makes all the difference in the World. We really lucked out.

No, restaurant attached to the hotel, but Craig's Family restaurant was a walking distance away for breakfast.

The staff was very polite, caring, attentive, and highly professional. Especially, I’d like to point out Constanza for being so attentive to our needs and being exceptional in her job. She made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend visiting Canmore Rocky Mountain Inn if you’re travelling to Banff or Canmore.

The room appears to be recently updated. Nice bed, lovely linen.

Although the sink is new, consideration wasn't given to putting your toiletries anywhere...a huge sink isn't necessary. There could have been more counter space. It would be nice to have a better selection of news channels on the tv, more than just local.

It was really easy to find. It also had a large enough parking lot for our pick up truck. The view was.pretty decent. The tress were very large but we still had a good view of the mountains off to the side.

It's pretty pricey but that,is what we get for going during peak tourist season.

Good location a little bit outside of Canmore but still very close to downtown area. Around 20-30 Minutes walk. The room we got for two queensize bed was quite big. Even though it was right next to the elevator, we could not hear anything from the lift. The Hotel did not offer a regular breakfast but a kind of breakfast to go for just 5$. It was a very good value and enough for us to start into the day.

I love this place. Yes its an older hotel, but it is well kept, clean, and well priced. The beds are comfy, the pillows are big and the blankets are warm.

The bathroom is falling apart. The whole toilet moves when you sit, and the toilet seat was barely hanging on and the toilet itself, is very low to the ground.
