Basecamp Suites Canmore

The location, the view, and the staff were fantastic! The hotel room had nearly everything we needed. We enjoyed the hot tub in the morning! We had an issue with our door lock but they came to fix it!

When the issue with our door lock came up, they immediately had someone come up to try to fix it but when they couldn't, we had to wait for maintenance. All if the staff were so lovely! However, we had plans to go out right when we arrived, as it was just a quick getaway from work. We were unable to go out for hours while it was fixed. It would have been nice to be offered a credit or a discount for our night stay. I must say again that all of the maintenance people were great!

The hotel is located in such a nice scenic town of Canmore. Bathroom was spotlessly clean. Love the soap/shampoo dispensers. The full kitchen was awesome! We have all the cookware, dinnerware and utensils needed to make a full steak dinner! Room was spacious and fit 4 people well. I also love that they have laundry machines with tide pods available for guests. There is one spot of free parking for each unit. Checking was done all contactless via a code sent through email. Wi-Fi was great. The hot tub at the roof was a good bonus.

There was no staff/front desks you can contact if you needed something during off hours or in a hurry. The TV didn't work and we ended up watching random YouTube clips. The coffee table is a bit too large because after you open up the sofa bed, it takes up too much space to walk around.

I like that the hotel’s location is right in the middle of the town - walking distance to shops, cafes and restaurants. With virtual check in, it was very convenient. Once we got into the room, it was so prettily decorated. It had everything we needed. I like that there was in-suite laundry. The beds were very comfy - perfect after a day full of activities.

Parking was limited. When we got there, there was someone who parked on our assigned stall. But it got sorted right away.

Clean, spacious, great location, hot tub, very good for families!

Liked everything, but recommend a few things: 1. Add more cutlery 2. Add extra bags for garbage 3. As you request to text you when the guests leave (so you can utilize the time to clean the room earlier…) we recommend you offer the same kindness and offer to text the guests if the apartment happens ti be ready for early check in.

Check in was easy. I love everything about it. When needed help is easy with just a few press Of a button on your cellphone and you will be connected with a representative. What I love most about it is that that you feel at home. Having your privacy is Number one for me.

The staff she was helpful but she looked kinda lost and confused. When we asked questions.

Fantastic location in the heart of downtown Canmore. Very new accommodation with fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, refrigerator/freeze, microwave, dishes), washer/dryer, spacious living room (access to Netflix) and convenient parking. The complimentary tea pot and coffee is a nice touch. The hot tub has beautiful mountain views. Would definitely recommend!

The view is amazing, rooms are large with king beds and x1 room with an ensuite very convenient. cooking facilities, with beautiful lounge and dinning tables. The amazing hot tub on roof top is fantastic. above all it’s located right in the town centre with great shopping and restaurants.

could do with a lift to 3rd floor, but stairs are good exercise.

We enjoyed the location very much, and how it was close to so many restaurants and shops. Enjoyed the hot tub on the roof, and the room was nicely put together.

It was mainly quite clean, however, they overlooked certain areas, the floors in the bathroom, could have been better cleaned, and it was very dusty still in the bedroom, especially above the head board, and the nightstand. Also, quiet time started at 10pm, but you can still hear the kids next door, and the people above us.

We loved everything about basecamp. The facilities were exceptional, location was perfect. Everything went above our expectations. Would definitely recommend.

Not being able to run the AC because it would bring in the cigarette smoke from the neighbors outside and fill the whole apartment.

Clean and excellent location. Away from crowd in Banff but only 15 mins away driving. Locals there are friendly and resturants and shops better quality.

Everything was amazing. Even we didnot have parking onsite Ian staff there helped us with a free parking slot in the other branch 2 mins drive.
