We had an unexpectedly big suite with a sitting area and mini kitchen with microwave, coffee maker, kettle and fridge. The whole hotel is rather charmingly 70s-style ski-chalet kitch, with stunning views of mountains all around. There is a gym, a small pool and an outdoor hot tub. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The restaurant that is attached to the hotel only opens for breakfast and up till 2pm - but there are loads of restaurants in Canmore, a five minute drive or 20-30 min walk. I don't think our room had air conditioning but the window can be opened. It is right next to the railway line and all through the day and night, about once an hour, very long 3 engine freight trains rattle past which is rather noisy. You get used to it though!

Great spot to stay, gateway to Rockies. Very comfortable, delighted to have a comfy bed after a long flight. Air Con was very welcome and efficient. Our room had a great mountaintop view. Great shower and lounge area, with microwave and kettle, tea and coffee.

Hotel staff while very friendly and efficient, lacked local knowledge and although offering us 10% off breakfast, couldn’t tell us the cost of breakfast, we skipped!

The location is perfect to move, we found everything a few steps away, bike rental, fast food, bus stop, etc. The bed was very comfortable and the attention was excellent. We enjoyed it has a microwave and fridge in the room so we saved a few bucks by storaging some food! Rooms are big I liked that.

At night we were freezing, probably because we are not use to it, and they had no heater to use but the one installed at the room but it wasn't on.

It's a Dog friendly hotel and easy to find. Staff are nice as well. The room is clean.

The room temperature is too warm and the location is next to the tracks. I opened the window to let cold air in but the train through noise is still too loud even closed the windows. I woke up by the noise several times. I wonder if stay back to the tracks will be better. Bed is depends, I don't like soft mattress, but it depends. Pillows are good and covers are clean.

The room was clean, the bed and pillows were amazing. I really appreciated the counter space with the coffee maker, the fridge and the microwave. It allows you to bring in some food and store left overs.

I found the walls rather thin as you could hear the surrounding guests turn on the showers not to mention the construction across the street but that’s not the chateaus fault. I would stay here again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. As requested they had a quiet, street facing room for us and when I asked I got a water kettle. The room was spacious and clean, so were the kitchenette and the bathroom. Easy access to the highway, walking distance to downtown Canmore

The carpet in the room needs to be replaced or deep cleaned.

We liked the large suites with a separate bedroom and separate living room with the pullout couch . There was also a TV in each room. We enjoyed the swimming pool with a hot tub. Fitness room had all the equipment and large. Even had a sauna and foosball table. Good location , close to Tim Hortons and McDonalds. Excellant value with comfy beds. Will definitely stay there again.

Super nice, great location, pretty clean, great facilities. Close to the bus stop, outdoor hot tub, sauna.

The location entirely was a little far from everything but it was close to the bus stop. The hot tub was very small and a lot of people would be hogging it most of the time as well the same for the gym. The rooms were clean but were a little outdated a lot of there furniture was rusted.

We enjoyed the location as we were not directly downtown, but very close. My grandchildren loved the pool. Room was nice to have the separate sitting area.

One of rooms did not have a view of the mountains as there was a large tree/bush blocking our entire view. Would have been nice to have the restaurant open for supper.

I liked the coffee machine in lobby where you could get lattes ,americano ,steamed milk etc...I enjoyed the hot tub and sauna at end of day. Bed was comfortable ,living room separated from bedroom with door was nice. Staff was helpful.

Parking was tight ,hot tub could use more privacy from parking lot.
