Our room location was great, on the ground floor just near the spa & pool, Bed was very comfortable , nice furnishings , a kitchenette in our room was a bonus with a coffee pod machine, breakfast which was included in our price was very enjoyable with a great selection of hot & cold food & the reception Desk staff were very friendly & helpful . This property also had a laundry for us to wash & dry our own clothes or you could get them to do it too for a fee. We would recommend staying at this property as it’s clean & comfortable & in a great location & restaurants are very close by & a quick walk to the harbour.

A little bit noisy with other guests in halllway at night ,maybe soundproof the doors .

PROS: -Very close to the Seattle-Victoria FRS Clipper terminal, walk it! -Nice large rooms with balcony, kitchenette, fridge. -Comfy Beds -A very nice indoor hot tub / jacuzzi. -Friendly staff all around. -Breakfast included, with eggs and meats. -Quiet since its not directly in downtown Victoria -Walkable to downtown Victoria and Fisherman's Wharf.

CONS: -$685 CAD for two nights seemed rather expensive, but I think June is prime tourist season. -Wish it was a bit closer to downtown Victoria. If you're in mediocore/bad physical shape, prepare for a long walks, or get a rental car.

great location, very friendly and helpful staff, decent breakfast included, comfortable bed & pillows, nice shower head with shampoo & soaps on wall of shower area.

Needs a refresh. Room was comfortable but no exhaust fan in the bathroom, room is outdated a bit for the price, no AC but fan on table, exterior walls need cleaning - stained and dirty, the lobby is awkward - cramped and not inviting… again refresh needed, tables in breakfast area were very close together and no room to move for the number of people

We enjoyed having the hotel location near downtown and the harbor of Victoria. Loved the complimentary kitchenette. We only found out later, during check out , that there was on the premises a self serve guest laundry facility.

The breakfast was included with the hotel stay which needs an improved upgrade, a large variety of fresh fruits would have be nice.

Location great. Room clean. Kitchenette convenient. Breakfast was good and a nice sitting area. Complimentary tea and coffee throughout the day. Overall staff friendly.

Having to call every day to exchange our towels. Wasn't a good system in place for that. One beds mattress was needing replacement but because they were apparently full capacity best they could do is turn mattress and provide extra blankets for cushioning. Fan in bathroom didnt work. Shampoo and body wash dispensers provided were empty.

We liked the friendly, helpful staff - both at the front desk & breakfast room. Lee, Bryan (Breean?), and Krista were patient and thorough in answering our questions and helping with the DVD player in our room.

The only reason I did not mark "Excellent" for cleanliness was because there was no room cleaning due to the pandemic. We understood why, but we still missed the daily tidying up. We also should have asked for towel replacement at least once. I'm sure that request would have been cheerfully met, as were our other needs.

Breakfast options were pretty good. The person watching over the breakfast room was always helpful and on the ball with cleaning tables when people left. Loved the shower head. Good invigorating spray, not like those “tinkle” rain shower heads where you’re waiting to get completely wet. Cute little balcony. We were able to walk to everything in downtown Victoria from this location (we’re in our 50’s with no physical impediments). Secured parking was nice and we could park our own car 👍🏻

I found the bed too soft. (Like older coils too soft -not as in “pillow top” too soft). But I prefer a firmer mattress. The bed was fine for my husband who likes a soft mattress. Our room came with a little kitchenette and we had access to fridge, stove, coffee cups, kettle, coffee machine, cutlery, and wine glasses but if we wanted access to ALL the kitchen supplies, it would have cost extra.

The location was prefect. Close to everything. The beds were very comfortable. They had coffee made in the lobby if you wanted to take it with you When you went out.. The breakfast that was included was as good. Nice verity.

Our room was very close to the outdoor pool. So it was quite noisy till 10 pm everyday. Next time we stay there we will just request a different room away from the pool.

we were there 4 day and no room service. the breakfast was very average. no fresh fruit. coffee was make a head of time and left in thermos. no air conditioning in the room only a small fan.

Impressed with the lady working in the breakfast room on the morning of Feb. 2nd. Constantly cleaning and wiping surfaces and very friendly.

Feb.3rd and 4th am was uncomfortable with lack of cleaning in the breakfast room. Chairs weren 't wiped, nothing but the table tops were cleaned. The lady used her gloved hands that had been moving chairs, cleaning dishes left behind etc. to reach into the bag of bread to replentish supplies instead of using tongs. As a former health care worker I was concerned about this.
