The suite was large and very comfortable: a small bedroom and a very large sitting room with sofa and several chairs and two large writing desks. The view was very good (although the windows needed cleaning). They had huge TVs in the bedroom and sitting room but I don't know how good they were because I never watch TV (I use my computer). The staff were also quite friendly. The Starbucks below is very busy but it has an amazing view and a comfy and classy atmosphere (it adjoins the pizza restaurant too). I didn't try Bartholomew's Restaurant below, but there's a Brown's across the street and a Cactus Club a couple blocks up Douglas. The location is excellent -- right next to the ferry bus and the waterfront, and a short walk to Beacon Hill Park, which is enormous and has lots of little ponds with ducks, a rose garden, petting zoo, etc..

The wi-fi was honestly not acceptable. It took too long to set up (half an hour -- and my machine works everywhere else) and you had to keep logging on (I stayed for six nights and it got a bit tedious). In addition you need to pay or become a free member (which took forever to do and was far too confusing) to get the fast wi-fi. The last morning I checked out a bit early in order to go to the nearby Blenz, which has great wi-fi. A hotel like the Hilton should have easy, free, and excellent wi-fi. The kitchenette had a microwave and fridge, but no dishes, cutlery, or tea towel.

The best thing about this hotel is its location - right at the edge of downtown and close to the ferry terminal. The room was pretty good - comfortable bed, large TV, couch, nice city view, lots of power outlets, and a large bathroom with plenty of surface area. It was a bit tight - when one person sits by the desk/working area, the other has to jump over the bed to get from one side of the room to the other. A second chair for another person with a laptop is not really an option.

Breakfast was continental+ style - eggs, sausage, bacon, fruits, and porridge. I was expecting more for the price, like vegetables, more dairy options, etc. Also, I was under the impression that the hotel offers both self-parking and valet parking, but when I got there I was told that only valet parking is available.

the location of the property is great to downtown Victoria & harbor. Front staff & valet staff very friendly & helpful. Having a kitchen area in our suite was wonderful to have breakfast & snacks. Also within walking distance or a short drive to Beacon Hill park which is a must when visiting Victoria.

unfortunately we arrived later in the day because of travel & had to have a room on the side of the construction site & the large crane. It will be a shame once the 14 story building is built beside the hotel as all views will be gone the side facing the parliament buildings. Other than that it's a great hotel!

Location was great. Room was clean. Staff were very welcoming. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast buffet was wonderful.

Sadly, the sofa and chair in our suite were past their prime and uncomfortable. Also, thought walk-in showers were in both baths but only one was a walk-in. However, we adapted to accommodate the mobility needs of our party..

The buffet breakfast was very good. We, unfortunately had what could have been a major problem for us, the loss of a vital document! We were thrilled to find out they hadn’t cleaned the room as yet. The front desk referred us to the manager, after explaining our dilemma she quickly retrieved a room key and had me walk with her into the room. I ran to the waist basket and had our document back and we were able to move forward. We couldn’t have been more pleased and very appreciative of your fine staff, well done!!!!

The breakfast buffet was worth every penny. They offered to make our eggs any way we would like. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have slept on. Lastly the upgraded our room to a higher floor when we notified them that we would late checking in.

Sadly the street noise was quite loud , even on the tenth floor.

Great room (king suite) with sitting area and separate bedroom with a small kitchenette. Can get great views depending on which side you are on.

Poor sleep due to very noisey heat/air-conditioning system. Have stayed here before and forgot about it. It was noisey enough that we will have to think long and hard before booking again. Otherwise great hotel.

Kind staff and clean rooms! Outstanding location!

Required valet parking- not used to having someone park my car. They were awesome but I would prefer the freedom to come and go without bugging them. Pullout couch was only okay! It was lumpy and noisy if you moved

Book in process was quick and easy.

At check out counter when we were leaving we had a small problem with communication. We had asked to have our bill emailed to us but we never received it. The bathroom sink didn't drain properly. The stopper in the sink wouldn't come up high enough to allow proper draining.

We love the spectacular view! It was the best part. The bed was so comfortable. We had a problem with the Keurig coffee maker and the facility staff came quickly and fixed the problem .

There were no swimming pool or spa. We were hoping to use the spa but it was not there.
