The new Beds were amazing and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Staff were v friendly. The shuttle bus was able to drop us downtown which was very convenient and with no wait time too for us. The room was clean with regular room service and we loved the games room as a family. The bathroom was shiny and new with a great shower.

The curtains and some of the furniture could benefit from an update perhaps,, but that certainly didn't affect our stay, and definitely wouldn't stop us returning. . Recommend as a good motel. Love that the family room had the main room with 2 double beds plus an extra bedroom on top.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Excellent internet, nice desk and chair for working. Air conditioning and modern bathroom. Complimentary kayaking absolute bonus in this location. Didn't use the e-bikes but would have added further to the overall quality.

Breakfast offering could be slightly more varied but it absolutely fine otherwise.

Totally recommend Robin Hood Inn ! We have really been enjoying our stay here this Family Day weekend, this spot exceeded expectations and the location is awesome. This place is squeaky clean. One thing I really like about this place is that it has been upgraded/refurbished but only to a point that it made sense to; what I mean is that they didn't just tear out tiles or flooring etc that didn't need to be torn out because they still have alot life life yet before they actually need to be torn out and dumped in the landfill. The beds are super comfortable and so are the pillows and linens and the towels are nice and soft. Our room is dog friendly which is really helpful, and they have lil doggy beds and bowls etc available. Not to mention ebikes and kayaks you can SIGN OUT ! The continental breakfast is really good and the pastries are fresh. Another bonus is being able to use the 'great room' and play boardgames with our adult kids who live here in town. The staff here are very nice and friendly, and the price per night really reasonable considering the aforementioned !

The rooms were exceptionally clean, the kitchen well-appointed, linens spotless and many little extra touches like tissues and high quality toiletries, tea, coffee, and bottles of water in the fridge. The breakfast buffet was always freshly stocked and attended by a staff member, and the owner came around at breakfast time to welcome and talk to guests. We also were able to reserve the free e-bikes and kayaks during our stay. This is an amazing bonus which made our stay in Victoria memorable. The Robin Hood is a classic Canadian motor hotel that has become an iconic part of the neighbourhood. Locals we met praised its commitment to high standards and great value for families. We will definitely stay there again when are next in Victoria.

I picked this place because it has lot of good reviews. I was anxious when I booked because it says 2 star hotel but we had a great time staying for couple nights. The place was great not fancy but simple. We stayed at one of their family suite that has updated washroom. They offer free breakfast. Endless drinks in their guest room. They offer free ebikes and kayaking. Free shuttle and so on... My kids like their billiards. What I also like was on our first day while having free breakfast I believe he was the manager approaching and asking everyone if everything okay. I was surprised. They really make sure their guests are comfortable and happy. I dont think they do that in other hotels. It says 2 star on the website but our experience was better than going to 4 or 5 star hotels. I highly recommend and will definitely come back next time we are in Victoria.

The property was clean and maintenance seems to always be happening to improve or even make a staff member happy (adding a garden). The staff is fantastic! Easy to get around with the shuttle, e-bikes and were great, even a short walk to get to the water-taxi. Great room space, it was like having a little apartment.

It is a bit dated, but even when that is part of the charm. Also, would recommend the sale of small items for cooking like tiny bottles of olive oil, garlic powder, salt and pepper- that would turn this stay into a superstar stay. I say sell, not provide each room with these items because that may lead to waste and higher stay prices.

Reception staff were great! Really friendly and courteous and always helpful if we had any questions/requests. The room was spotlessly clean, super bathroom which looked newly refurbished, and spacious, comfy beds. .

The kitchen was spotless but very tired and could do with being updated. I feel the accommodation should be described as a motel rather than a hotel and approaching from the road, the outside looks rather dated. It could be more visually appealing if painted in more subtle colours although I appreciate wanting to keep the "Robin Hood" theme which is historic. Breakfast rather sparse in the selection of food offered, drinks good, but satisfactory, overall.

Room and facilities / amenities were very clean. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the complimentary continental breakfast provided by the hotel during our stay - food was fresh and plentiful. The quality of services and amenities at the hotel was excellent with the type of facilities available at the hotel well thought-out (e.g., guest lounge with complimentary beverages, coin-laundry services, etc.). Staff were friendly and considerate.

We were fortunate to have a room that was accessible by a ramp so moving our luggage was not too labour intensive. But this was not much of a problem given the staff at the front desk was helpful and they helped us move them to our room.

We stayed here for the weekend and we’re met with brilliant service. We were picked up from the ferry and dropped back by the complimentary shuttle and spent the day on the complimentary e-bikes and kayaks even though we arrived before the 4pm check in time. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The bed was one of the comfiest I have ever slept in. The inn is about a 20 minute walk from downtown Victoria along a lovely pedestrian walkway away from the road. They also have a great common room with a pool table where you can have juice or make yourself a coffee whenever you like. Breakfast was also very nice with a variety of different pastries, cereals,juices and yogurts to choose from. I would highly recommend this inn to anyone visiting Victoria.

Great room has complimentary refreshments and entertainment throughout the day, complimentary kayaking. Washroom was renovated and looks really clean. They provided slippers for all guests. There were many staff and they seem to clean everything even top of beverage station and window sill. Ebikes were available from the hotel but they only have one kids bike and there is some biking on street before trail so we didnt go.

The portable air conditioner was loud and only avsilable on one room of our suite. Also TV is available only in one room of our suite. Kitchen looks a bit outdated. There was price discrepancy between booking.com and the price they were charging us but tgat got resolved.
