We had a great stay! Family of 4 (2 teens). Staff came by and emptied our trash and replaced towels daily, which was appreciated. My kids loved visiting the pool each day. Close proximity to pizza, fast food, drinks, and shopping. The hotel was fun and different! They have bikes and longboards for family use.

For our family of 4, it was very small, but we didn't spend a ton of time in our room so I was not bothered by it. One of the nights we were there, it was pretty loud! I thought I was at a fraternity! It didn't stress me out. I have loud teens, but if you are looking for a super quiet stay, check on your room placement??

The value of this property is fantastic. It's got quirky feels and they really lean into that quirkiness to absolutely fantastic effect. It's not your parent's idea of a hotel, for sure. The beds are definitely the most comfortable on our 2 week trip, we just wish we had spent more than one night on the bed. Staff, accommodations, attention to detail were all excellent. The restaurant serves fantastic food.

The area around the hotel is a little sketch. There's construction right next door that won't affect you at night, but the daytime can get a bit noisy, at least in the near future (this was written in 9/23). There is a fairly thriving homeless community in the area, in case that bothers you (it just reminds me that we have a ways to go as a society).

Such a fun hotel with a great vibe! Lots of special and unique touches made the Hotel Zed stand out from traditional hotels. We were traveling with 3 children so having a pool is always a must (and hot tub for me). My kids loved The Zedinator (water slide), yoyo, comic book, video game/ping pong table room and separate bedroom. I loved the mini kitchen, free rental bikes (skateboards too) and restaurant onsite. The hotel was across the street from a shopping mall with lots of other food options nearby too. Plus it was located just 2 blocks away from the bike/pedestrian trail so it was convenient for us to get around.

We borrowed some bikes that the hotel offers to guests for free and had a great bike ride around most of Victoria thanks to some useful tips from the staff. The reception area and hotel are very well-designed and well-kept, too. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The flush in the restroom was weak and gave us a scare, but it worked fine so it wasn't really an issue. The hotel is a bit far from the downtown if you plan on walking, though there's a bus stop nearby and the local bus fares are inexpensive.

The friendly staff, the colorful and retro vibes, they waived our pet fee for my cat which was much appreciated. Everything about this place was awesome and my boyfriend really appreciates the comic book

Kids constantly running around which isn’t the hotels fault, the vans don’t run, apparently the maintenance is out of date so they don’t work. When I booked the room, the website said the van was available for drop offs in the area so that was disappointing.

I loved how it was different, retro and colourful! The staff were so helpful and nice as well, going over and beyond and making our trip that much more stress less! cannot wait to come back and use this hotel again!

what I didn’t like… like bare minimal suggestion, could do more colour in our bathroom or just hotel rooms in general but it was literally a fantastic experience. so really nothing

This place is amazing, we had mentioned that the kids were having there birthday, they went over and above, they went out of there way to decorate the room and put gifts and cards in the room. We were shocked at this and really appreciate the wonderful staff at Zed Hotel. The rooms were very clean and very fun, we loved the pool and loved the area at the desk with games and ping-pong. Great place definetly recommend 👌

We loved everything!

Front Desk Service was excellent - professional, friendly, informative. Loved the pool - kids were very happy, loved the lobby/games Restaurant was good - I was especially pleased with the kids meals - super reasonable price. The food the adults enjoyed was excellent and service too was wonderful. Decor and accessibility were great. The hotel is fun and quirky.

Not sure if the rate was due to Ironman, but it was pretty expensive for a "motel" format. No surprises though, and we enjoyed the accommodations.

We were originally booked in a room above the pool but due to my wife's chlorine allergy we were given an upgrade to a king room, Krista was super nice and we greatly appreciated her kindness. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Will be staying there every visit 100%!

Nothing we have never stayed in a cooler hotel!

The exterior is gorgeous and is so so fun. There’s plenty of bright coloured places, murals and vehicles to take pictures with or just wander around and check out. They have tons of options for recreation, ping pong tables, sega genesis, etc. The room was comfortable, and the decor was amazing! The staff was phenomenal and friendly, they all had the best energy! We are looking forward to coming back!
