Chateau Fredericton, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

The room was clean and comfy. We appreciated the toiletries and the option to ring the front desk for things we may have forgotten (which we thankfully didn’t need to). The breakfast selection was good. It was nice to stay somewhere with a complimentary meal which included items all three family members (including a picky 6 year old!) could enjoy. Staff was pleasant and helpful, and the dining area was neat and clean. We noticed there was even a water bowl for pets at the entrance along with the refreshments for guests. Our kiddo enjoyed the daily jokes on the chalkboards. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. Overall the whole facility seems well run and efficient. They seem to have thought of everything. Well done :) We will definitely stay again if we find ourselves back in Fredricton!

The sliding bathroom door was cool and looked good but a lock to ensure privacy would’ve been nice.

Love the main floor rooms when we're traveling with our dog. Really spacious and having the counter, sink and fridge as you enter the room is such a fantastic use of the space for all the things to land and not be in the way. This time we had adjoining rooms as we were in Fredericton for my Mom's celebration of life. Lots of seating for close family members to visit and reconnect without having to sit on the beds. This hotel is my go to every single time I'm in Fredericton. Waterslide for kids is always a big hit too.

Didn't care for the pot smoking kids in the staff area at the back of the property... not sure that's in the hotels control though. Didn't feel unsafe though.

the location, pool & breakfast was a big draw. we’re from Ontario and have been here 2 time before. our kids asked to stay again and it was one of their bdays so they were thrilled. staff at the desk were very nice. rooms are clean.

the pool chemistry was off- it was cloudy and the scum line of the pool was needing to be done. the breakfast was different this time. it was roped off and the staff weren’t ready to serve. they were too busy trying to refill and clean other stuff. tables weren’t promptly cleaned for others to eat. the kids were disappointed there wasn’t any waffles. not sure if it was a one- off.

We travelled as two families and could not have been happier with the experience. Our youngest traveller was 12 , oldest 69 and they both had nothing but great things to say about the environment the facility and staff created. I found the staff to be authentically friendly and helpful. Wonderful place to stay!

Not a complaint other than wishing our schedules would have allowed for us to stay longer.

The water slide was an absolute game changer. The kids loved it as well as the adults. It is very rare to have such an attraction in a hotel space that is wholly accommodating. The breakfast satisfied our range of people within our party: 5 people.

The cost was truly above expectation and we only followed through because of lack of other options. I will reconsider using your facility going forward if the hotel chooses to openly gouge travels during high times. A room that is typically 180 was billed at 400... it's a little embarassing for your NEW establishment.

Nice facilities, grandkids liked pool and slide. Walking distance to restaurants.

The tv did not work properly, the remote would work in the lobby but not in the room. Night staff had no solution but tried another set of batteries, no change. Day staff said tv would have to be unplugged but that was not easy to get to. Our daughter had a similar problem on another visit to this location.

Very comfortable room and beds. Decent free breakfast. Very pleasant, helpful staff. Very little noise transfer between rooms or from hallway.

The bathrooms have sliding barn doors which means they do not lock, and sounds travel very easily!!! Can't imagine who thought a barn door on a bathroom was a good idea. The AC unit worked well but at times was VERY noisy. Front desk appreciated being informed and said they would look after it.

The room was spaces and cozy. The kids enjoyed the pool area and the whole family enjoyed the breakfast. We will stay again.

The room was not as clean as we expected. We found what appeared to be beads for making jewelry scatted on the floor, a hair tie behind the bathroom door, and a hair brush in the sofa bed. All left from previous guests.

Generally a well designed and operated hotel. Chateau Fred was previously (until about June 2022) a Hampton Inn, and the current operation seems to resemble Hampton Inn operations, including breakfast. Two unusual but positive points were the divan chair and the pull out shelves in some of the furniture.

The view to one side of the hotel was very industrial (not much they can do about that now). The Keurig coffee maker did not work.

We had a very spacious King Suite. The hotel has been recently done over and is beautiful. The breakfast buffet offers full meals. If you have children, it's a great place with the water slide at the pool.

We stayed for 5 nights and requested room service. Finally on the last day they came. In the meantime, we had to put our trash out in the hall to get picked up.
