Quality Inn Amsterdam Fredericton

Breakfast was very good and a nice variety. The room charge was as we had agreed on. We arrived just before 8pm and the front staff was excellent.

We weren’t shocked to find a 3% sur charge on our bill for tourism! We would have declined to pay it if given a choice, because quite honestly we do not believe it is going to the “help promote tourism “ fund. We believe it is going into a slush fund and eventually to who knows where! Perhaps into the pockets of the owner and/or investors. There is no transparency or accountability with this money. Ok, it’s only 3% you say! Tourist come mostly once a year! Doesn’t matter. 3% on a $135.00 room doesn’t sound like much, but if it was a $75,000.00 Ford F-150, then I’m sure one would think twice about whether it doesn’t sound like much or not. We would appreciate it if you could actually send us any documentation or details as to where this 3% actually goes. Ken & Linda Stuart

The staff at Quality Inn are truly the best - so sweet and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are sleek. There’s a small gym which is good enough for a quick workout. And there is a full spread for breakfast everyday - eggs, sausage, bacon, toast, bagels, muffins, and a full waffle station!

Not the hotel’s fault but there were a lot of middle school basketball teams staying the same weekend as us and the kids were loud and rowdy. The staff tried to get them to quiet down and contacted their coaches but it took a few hours until bedtime to quiet them all down.

When we arrived at the hotel we were given a room on the second floor. We had some extra luggage with us, so fortunately we were able to get a luggage cart so we could make just one trip up to our room. The provided breakfast was as expected, and meet our needs. As a bonus I discovered that there is a Craft Brewery location just across the street. Very nice.

When I checked in the staff asked for my email address which I declined to give. They made a minor issue of my choice, but that is something that is my decision. It did not affect our stay.

Amazing stay, love the drive up outside rooms so much easier then lugging your luggage through a lobby , up elevators, down hallways lol they are far superior to any other rooms I've gone to with drive up parking. Honestly rooms were cleaner then most 4 ⭐ hotels. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying here. Also the only hotel I've seen have an Emergency epi pen & defibrillator station . 100% impressed with my stay. Will be back . Breakfast the standard hotel buffet.

The hotel was super clean and comfortable. Very comfy beds. The breakfast is fantastic and perfect for on the road. The staff were polite and super helpful. This is a great hotel and we were so glad to find it to use for frequent trips to the east coast.

I really can't say there was anything we didn't like. We stayed two nights and both nights were good. There was an issue with our room but it was quickly and easily fixed.

The room as well as the breakfast area was exceptionally clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating (early checkin as I was getting married that day) Breakfast was hot, lots of choices. check in and check out was quick, efficient and the desk staff was friendly and polite.

The sofa in the room isn't very comfortable but everything else was great. The only other complaint is that on the second night of our stay the people above us stomped and jumped around a LOT

Excellent room, cleanliness and comfort!

Breakfast area is much too small for the number of rooms/people in the hotel. Breakfast items (yoghurt, milk, coffee, eggs etc) all, at one time or another, ran out and staff had to be asked to replenish them. Little or no fruit available at breakfast.

I’ve been staying at that location for years. The more I stay the more I dislike so I stopped booking there and stay elsewhere now. Their prices have good up to almost a non-sense! I’m staying at a perfectly clean and nice hotel for $85 per night! Theirs yesterday was $170 à room while the Ramada is $85. Makes no sense. It’s quiet here. The cleaning ladies are super quiet in the hallways. At the Amsterdam you can’t sleep in because of all the noise from the cleaning crew.

This was a perfect place to stay for one night during our road trip to Nova Scotia. It was close to the highway, but there were no traffic noises in the evening. The staff were friendly, and helpful. The beds were comfy, and the bathroom was clean. It met all expectations of a chain hotel. You could drive up to your room, which made taking in luggage etc very easy. The breakfast was good - a buffet of the basic hot eggs, meat, toast etc. The (young) staff did their best to make your stay comfortable and easy.

Absolutely perfect for this style of hotel and price range. The staff were lovely and accommodating. The breakfast was surprisingly good (hot breakfast options, cold options plus self waffle making option). The room was spacious and comfortable.
