Everything was fine! Especially the customizable "Signature" breakfast sandwiches made to order. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was so nice, we changed our planed hotel in Moncton to the Chateau Moncton, which was also outstanding. Our favorite mid-price hotel in the US is Hilton's Hampton Inn, but Wyndham's Chateaus beat Hampton in Canada in our opinion.

This is REALLY being picky. We chose the hotel in part because we were doing day trips to Wolfville and to Peggy's Cove as well as visiting Halifax. While the access to highways was great for the day trips, this hotel's location was not near many restaurant choices and not that convenient to sites in Halifax. That's hardly a criticism, since we knew that up front and indeed that was actually part of why we picked it.

Convenient location on the main road from Halifax airport but outside the city centre, a blessing after a long day. Usual neutral modern-hotel character; rooms clean, quiet and comfortable. There are some interesting historical photos in the common areas, which include a breakfast room and separate serving room. Breakfast ladies were extremely friendly and accommodating.

There was nothing open on the property offering food or drink for weary travellers late in the evening (11 pm). There is takeout nearby, but not good for the gluten-free.

The location for the purpose of this trip was perfect.Breakfast was excellent with friendly staff ready to serve. The rooms were clean and comfy. We also had a dog and were on the bottom floor and close to an entrance which was super convenient. There was also access to a walking / biking trail which worked perfectly for us and Odin (dog). Thanks again and would definitily recommend the Chateau Bedford :)

From the Booking.com listing, it did not show complimentary breakfast, but, indeed, a wonderful breakfast is provided. Hot breakfast options as well as cold. A nice surprise!

My one thought was that it would have been helpful to have had a phone directory in the room. I know most folks now use their phones, but not all of us do and when searching for info for a nearby pizza place, would have used the phone book, had there been one.

Our mini-suite room was great. The breakfast provided was much more than I expected. The only fly in the ointment was the workout room where the stationary bicycle was in disrepair and there was a lack of cleaning materials. Parking was fine. The staff were very welcoming from the front desk to the room attendants. The location was close to the highway and convenient to head into Halifax or Dartmouth as well as the airport. We will certainly stay here again.

Just the fitness room required some arttention.

Breakfast was better then other hotels. I like they served you.We enjoyed our stay. Staff was very friendly and they said hi everytime we walked in. Very well trained front desk.

We did not like being close to front desk. Very noisy at 6am. Kleenex was not refilled On second day. We know next time to ask for further away from desk. Lovely hotel

The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the location was quiet but close to the highway, the staff were very friendly, and the breakfast choices were exceptional!

The entryway to the hotel from the road is a little confusing, so it's easy to miss. The "Tim Hortons" sign overshadows the hotel's own sign.

The staff at the Chateau Bedford are absolutely amazing - helpful, friendly, and kind. The rooms are extremely comfortable and the breakfast suits the needs of the morning. I stayed at this hotel three times in a row within six weeks due to traveling for work and it feels like home away from home. I will continue to stay here when the need arises.

There isn't anything that I didn't like.

The breakfast was very tasty. I liked the different choices to have for bread, meat options and toppings. The room was clean and comfortable. I liked having the non-carpeted floor for our pet as it meant less chance of mistakes on the floor.

As we brought our pet with us, the pet friendly rooms were located near the pool. This meant that there was more noise into the evening on the Friday night. The pillows were not great. You could feel the chip foam in them. I did not mention this at the time. More of an FYI for the property.

Breakfast was very good. The room was clean and there were lots of towels. Staff were very friendly and were able to accommodate the special dietary request for my daughter. The pool was enjoyed by my granddaughters.

The room on the ground floor was convenient but we could hear other guests when they were in the hallway. I had specified three adults but there was not enough shampoo for all three. I know that's a complimentary service but I just wanted you to be aware.
