I got a wicked deal through booking.com for 2 nights in a king suite at this hotel. The suite was lovely, very spacious, the shower was great, and the bed so comfortable. Our flight out of Halifax was cancelled due to hurricane Lee and they were very accommodating in extending our stay in the same suite, though sadly not at the same price. The hotel restaurant had some really good food and they serve Starbucks coffee. The location was pretty inconvenient for visiting Halifax, an hour by bus to downtown, and there's not much around as it is in an industrial park but all in all it was a great place to stay.

The front desk staff are really friendly and fast, check-in was easy. The room was large, clean and very comfortable. The bed was fantastic! I had an amazing sleep. The fitness room is incredible, they also have a separate room for Yoga and meditation. We had breakfast both days st the restaurant: very good. We did not have a car so were walking and ubering: it is a 45 minute walk to the ferry, which we enjoyed, and an $18 uber from downtown Halifax. I'd recommend this hotel.

Impressed with wowing us breakfast. But no coffee creamers and waiting for 30 minutes for delivery while our coffee got cold. Very disappointment when your staff told us it would be up right away. We had to go down and get it ourselves. Re thinking if well ever return.

The bed was too soft. The TV was crooked and needs to be leveled. (room 436). I'm curious if I can request a harder he's toper if I were to return. There should also be spare planets in the closet for if you get cold.

The upgraded room was very large and quiet. I liked that the bedroom was physically separated by the main entry space and TV. God how I wished I had this layout on group trips. The shower was amazing and the supplied SoapBox products were excellent. Excellent wi-fi, lots of power outlets to charge all my electronic doodads, very comfortable bed. Mini-fridge was in a cabinet to keep the noise level down. There is some kind of bar and a Starbucks downstairs.

The hotel is a cul de sac within a business area. While this contributes to it being quiet, you will need a car if you don't want to eat at the hotel restaurant or pizza place (Geovanno) nearby.

Clean hotel

Room only had 3 towels and cleaning staff didn’t provide us any clean towels when they cleaned the room. I had asked and they said they didn’t have any in there cart. Later they did come to our room w 3 new towels. The breakfast was also not included in our stay and this was the most expensive hotel out of our stay in Nova Scotia with the least amount of services provided.

The staff was extremely pleasant and very friendly. The restaurant staff was very engaging, convivial and the service was impeccable. They maintained a relaxed atmosphere, which made us feel extremely comfortable. A five star team, for sure. We looked forward to having our meals at the hotel, daily. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The rest of the staff were always helpful and quick at addressing any requests. Great stay at a very pleasant hotel. 😊

The room was Fantastic & the Manager was very helpful and understanding to my concern upon arrival. The restaurant served the best Apple/fried cheese chicken salad. I would come back just for that.

When I arrived my room was not ready and I waited until after 5pm to get into my room. The Manager on Duty was very kind even if I was not. I appreciated that as I was very tired from being on the road working and still needed to get more work finished before sleeping in the most comfortable bed I have had in a while.

Took my kids the rooms were nice and the pool was wonderful kids loved it

I have 17 month old twins with me and they have the sliding barn style doors for the bathrooms and they had no way to lock them while you were in the bathroom. Babies cab open them super easy and get in there. Only thing we didn't like about our stay

Clean, comfy, good ambience

Staff wasn’t clear about continental breakfast hours. Was told option on menu found in bedroom was only available in room dining (which turned out to be the continental breakfast) but neglected to say it would be only be until certain time. Showed up 10 minutes before time was up even though we weren’t aware and set up was being torn down. 😕

We like the fact that we can always count on Marriott hotels for a clean, comfortable, welcoming environment with good food/drink options and location!

Minor but...small rip in the draw down shade in the main room; bit of rusty/moldy yuk at the base of the shower doors where they overlap...hard to clean, I know, and not likely a big "health risk"...
