Homewood Suites by Hilton Toronto-Ajax

we had chosen this hotel because it was a bit outside of Toronto and therefore not so expensive; to downtown (CN Tower) about 30 minutes by car; directly on the highway, but still quietly located; large, free parking space in front of the hotel; stores and restaurants not far away; we recommend the Italian restaurant Il Fornello on Kingston Road; we enjoyed the breakfast with porcelain dishes! (not least because it is good for the environment)

The front desk service is really good, everyone we spoke with was always polite and patient. We checked in very late (around 11:30) since the hwy 401 was closed due to an accident during the weekend, but staffs were very helpful even we were super late! The studio we stayed has a small living room kitchen with dishwasher and a fridge. The pool is shallow, more for kids. But we had fun with our baby. The location is good and convenient.

Everything was great for us, the kids loved going swimming.

The charges put on my credit card was never explained to me. I was charged so many times and refunded. Upon paying when we first arrived, the price was lower then what was quoted so I asked the desk clerk if he had charged me for both nights and he said yes this is for both nights. Which it wasn't. Better communication would be best

Our room was amazing, equipped with a kitchenette, very comfy king bed, lots of room. We had a little family get together and we’re able to host it in their courtyard which is furnished with tables, chairs, etc. even a little putting green. The pool was great and the continental breakfast was great. The staff were so accommodating and friendly.

Everything was perfect, wouldn’t change a thing!

We chose a 2 bedroom suite. We drove from out of town for a family wedding. The location of the hotel was perfect, minutes from both the 401 & the venue. The room was huge and very clean. The beds were super comfy. We had plenty of room for 5 of us to get ready for the wedding thanks to the 2 bathrooms & large kitchen & living room area. The free breakfast in the morning was an added bonus. A perfect stay!

The walls were a little thin & we could hear other guests in their rooms.

Location perfect For trip purpose

Needs better breakfast. Eggs could be better were a bit dry, as well, I would have very much liked bacon served more often. We were there one week and I only saw it once. I was out of Canada and missed our bacon, it was disappointing not having it every day.

The room and bed were very comfortable.

This hotel is part of a chain that is charging exorbitant fees of $75 + tax for a one night stay for a small dog. However, when asked during the booking process they do not let you know and land it on you at check-in. Late at night other choices were unavailable and it was a most upsetting experience. I would not stay there again.

The room was very big and spacious.

They didn't let me use the discount code for the wedding I was there for because I booked through a 3rd party. Which I didn't think was very fair. I'm being penalized for booking the hotel that way. Also, the Manager was never there to be able to speak with him. And the staff were quick to not listen, and gave very short answers.

the place was clean and came with a kitchen, just what i needed. the location was also convenient considering there were restaurants near the hotel.

they didn’t provide the rooms with toothbrush/tooth paste, no slippers, no dishwashing soap or sponge to clean kitchenware after use, they were missing things that could have been useful during our stay.

I stayed for two nights with three of my grandchildren. The hotel was clean. The staff was very pleasant. The location was great. It was close to the Go train station for us to get to downtown Toronto to see the Harry Potter Play, and only 15 minute drive to the zoo. All and all a great mini vacation!
