Stayed July 3 2022. The location is good. The breakfast was excellent, served in an interesting decor. Elise was the perfect hostess, inquiring about our well being and answering all our questions.

We found the property over crowded with "things". The bedroom we were assigned was very small: "Chinese room?" It had no closet or provisions to hand anything, and no window dark covering to keep the light out. I had trouble sleeping as a result.

Having the outdoor breakfast was lovely. So glad the weather cooperated. Otherwise, breakfast would not have been included (no discount was offered if breakfast wasn't going to be served). We enjoyed the homemade preserves, rye toast, eggs and fresh fruit and veggies.

The bacon, for our first breakfast was not edible, but we had fresh bacon the next morning. We would have liked to be asked when we would want the breakfast the following day. It was assumed that we wanted breakfast at the same time each day. It was also assumed that we wanted the same thing for breakfast each day. It would have been nice to have options. We really enjoyed our stay at a Collingwood B&B where they had a little menu provided each day to check off, time and breakfast options for the following day. We just needed to leave the paper menu on the front desk and all our requests were accommodated with ease.

The room and the house were very clean. We felt immediately comfortable and at home. Breakfast was very good and the owner was very kind and responsive to our requests.

Everything was really great! Maybe the bedroom might be slightly small for longer stays. However the room and bathroom are nicely decorated, clean and comfortable.

Pleasant comfortable home. We stayed in the kin bed Safari Room. Nice big bathroom, comfortable bed. Location across from the river. Elise was great hostess. Full breakfast prepared to your preferences. Would definitely return if in the area again.

We liked the exceptional breakfast. The attention was excellent, the room was very clean, the house is located near the downtown area and had an impeccable view over the river. Would definitely recommend!

Our stay was very pleasant. We were made to feel comfortable . Breakfast was delicious. The room was small,very clean and nicely decorated. Enjoyed our stay.

We had a short and sweet stay at the Hastings House! The owner (and her cat) were lovely. We had everything we needed. We had a wedding very close so it was the perfect place to stay!

We had a fantastic breakfast, and our host was extremely friendly and accommodating. Although it was a bit cold we enjoyed our dinner across the street under the gazebo, just make sure to bring a blanket! The room itself was super cozy and spacious. Great value to stay here.
