Days Inn by Wyndham Kingston

The place was clean, neat and tidy. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok. Amenities were awesome. Room was clean. Liked having fridge and microwave. Lobby bar is a nice touch. Outside patio is a great idea. Liked the gazebo. Loved that I could park my car outside my patio door - that's a plus!

I didn't like the noise -the people on top of us could be heard walking around - maybe they were heavy-footed but we could definitely hear them. We could also hear the TV in the next room - perhaps that was extra loud but we could definitely hear that as well. And then, there were the things that are out of your control, such as the children running and playing in the hallways and the people who choose to leave their garbage in the hallways, and I am not referring to the garbage from the rooms that is waiting to be picked up by staff. I am specifically referring to beer cans, candy wrapped, spilled cereal, etc.

The room was large, clean and comfortable. You can't beat the location, close to the 401 and relatively close to the events we were attending. We had read reviews about the breakfast not being very good and although there wasn't a lot of variety, what was offered exceeded what we were expecting.

Wish there were a few more options for breakfast but not a big deal. The walls are quite 'thin' so you can hear what's going on in the hallway but I blame the other guests for not being considerate (there must have been a hockey team staying there and kids were literally running up and down the hallways) The lighting in the rooms was not very good, the room was somewhat dim and the fluorescent/led lightbulbs made the room feel less inviting and comfortable than it could have been.

We selected a bed and breakfast to eat a decent meal before heading out and continuing on our journey. The breakfast was a disappointing cold grab and go - which had a breakfast sandwich that needed to be heated in a microwave. But there isn’t one in the lobby and we were told to go heat it back at our room. This didn’t work with timing and mine landed in the garbage so we could get on the road. We were not informed about this when we checked in.

The room was clean and had all the amenities needed. Fridge is a bonus not often found. Plenty of power outlets. Some good options for breakfast. Pool was a good size. Fitness area is a welcome sight.

Coffee maker didn't work. Only 3 towels for a 4 person family. Booking was for 4 people. Hot tub not working. Microwave wasn't clean

Clean and quiet. Location was great.No complaints whatsoever

Shortage of furniture in the room .Would have been nice to have another dresser and chair.as we were staying for 3 days but we made do.

-Breakfast was bagged (bc of covid, nothing else was available). -Pool was nice & warm, with a spa section on the side (with a 15 mins timer). We had towels at the reception that we could use for the pool, which was nice.

-Neighbors right next door had dogs (didn't know hotel allowed dogs). Dogs ended up barking off & on throughout the night (even in the middle of the night), quite annoying. -Not sure why the staff told us to walk to our room by going outside the hotel (to another door), could have easily walked through the inside of the hotel instead - it was getting colder outside when we went).

This is a great location and the room was nice. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the staff very accommodating. It is close to a lot of restaurants, grocery and liquor store and not too far from center town.

Before the day we left, we asked the staff at the front desk if we could get a late check out. He said that we could stay until 3 pm for an extra fee of 40$. We said we would come back later with a decision. When we got back it was a different employee who said he could let us stay until 1:30 pm at no charge which we thought perfect and he wrote something in our file. However, the next day when I went to check out, I was told that I had to pay the 40$ and that there was nothing else the employee could do. Also, the bathroom is extremelly small and the shower has nothing to put your shampoo, shower gel etc and the shower floor was very slippery.

the breakfast sandwich was not good at all....and I noticed that it was produced in the USA - what is wrong with local, fresh preparations? the pool area was quite in need of repair and refreshing. I had reserved for 4 of us, but there were only towels for 3 persons. the pillows are horrible -glad I brought my own along

We asked for a crib for a baby and it was provided to us. The room was clean, modern and spacious. The king bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was included and carefully handled to me in the morning. Available unlimited tea, milk and coffee. Good parking.

It was cold but we figured out the temperature regulation. Ventilation in the bathroom drove me nuts: it is automatically turns on when the light is on and it is very loud. With a sleeping baby, we had to use a phone to light up the bathroom to avoid waking up the baby. Non-existent soundproofing: the baby woke up several times at night once someone shut or open the door in another room. We heard well what was happening in the hall, steps in the room above, talks outside on the parking.

A quiet location close to but not on a main road. Attractive, well thought out, and comfortable space - a particularly comfortable bed.

Only complaint about the room is the location of the shower control - no way to reach it without standing in the stream from the shower. Should be able to adjust shower flow and temperature BEFORE stepping into the water stream. Only other complaint was a very uninspired Covid breakfast in a bag. A small very sweet packaged muffin, a small very sweet granola bar, and a small very sweet yogurt are not what we want for breakfast.
