Great tourist location, practically in the center of the city. Comfy rooms, nice views (harbor views recommended). Restaurant at the hotel (Wharf & Feather) was really good. Breakfast (not included in the price of stay), lunch and dinner were quite good, many options to choose from.

The restaurant in the hotel closes a bit too early though (9pm). The kitchen closed 30 minutes before the stated end of the dinner. The buffet option at the breakfast could be stated more clearly.

The location was perfect - right downtown and walking distance to everything. I also liked that it was on the waterfront. The bar downstairs was great - great view and service. Service overall through the whole hotel was great - very friendly and welcoming.

I feel like it likely allowed smoking at some point as the hallways and room didn’t smell fresh. My balcony was also a little disappointing as I was on the far edge of the building, closest to the city and while I had a lake view, a large wall to the side didn’t make it feel inviting. The balcony was also dirty so I didn’t sit out there even though that was the reason I upgraded my room.

The location is fantastic- waterfront, right by where the boats board for the islands cruise :) Additionally, they allow dogs which is a big +++ in my opinion.

1. BAD CHECK IN We arrived at 3PM, when check in was beginning. We were told our room is not ready, to come back in 40min. When we returned, the front desk clerk said she does not know if our room is ready, she would have to go and check. Then trued to do nothing, until my husband said: “then please go”. 2. RESTAURANT Their restaurant is below average and their photos are photoshopped- not what is in the me u. We ordered the halibut with french fries. I make better french fries, and my french fries are so bad, I stopped making them :D 3. ROOM TEMPERATURE CONTROL I can see why other reviewers said their A/C could not be regulated- it is old and the control is questionable. Our room felt cold throughout the night.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was good in quality and had a nice range of options. The restaurant had excellent food with healthy choices. Staff was helpful in providing information for how to explore the city and its sights.

No safety boxes in rooms and tiny safety boxes at reception. Since the entrance to floors and hallways with rooms was not restricted (e.g., non monitored side entrance freely accessible), we ended up carrying things like laptops with us, which was a bit inconvenient for activities.

-Very noisy AC in the bedroom -Although the breakfast is buffet style, you have to ask some basic items (such as coffee and water) to a waiter/waitress

The staff at the hotel were excellent. Great location for tourists.

First room we had the phone didn't work and the room was a bit unkept. We had paid for a room Harborside. The view was poor from 2nd floor and construction equipment right below our window. Lamp shades were ripped. Not the cleanest. Went to front desk and they gave us a new room on the 5th floor with a great view. Same room exactly but everything was clean and worked. They comped our parking and have us a free breakfasts. All said, the staff were fantastic, courteous and took care is us quickly.

We actually had a view of cruise dock and Lake which was a bonus. Rooms were clean and pillows fluffy as well as towels. Staff obliging re holding luggage and very helpful for such a busy place. Pool was clean and a relief after walking streets of Kingston. Lots to see …. Walked to university along street filled with beautiful old homes, through the park to Agnes Gallery. Then back along the Lake shore, did 1000 Island cruise and ate at some good restaurants. Loved the limestone buildings too.

I thought the area around the front entrance (outside) let your facility down. Needs sprucing up.

No cleaning during our 3 day stay in the name of Covid regulations. Hotels need to stop using Covid as an excuse and start providing some service. front desk staff is horrible. They messed up my bill and when I was telling them about it, the girl attending to me started chatting with the girl on the next desk and they both started laughing looking at something on the screen of the girl helping me. I could not understand what was going on because I was in the middle of my conversation and felt like I didn’t exist.

We loved the location of the room - on the 5th floor, overlooking the water. Also, the location of the hotel was convenient - walking distance to restaurants and shops. We loved being able to sit on the balcony overlooking the water. The room was very clean.

The staff were rushed when we checked in, and didn't tell us about needing a voucher for the breakfast which was included. Also, we had to pay an extra $28 for parking, which was very expensive, given that the hotel room was so expensive. I felt sorry for the poor waitress in the morning serving breakfast - it was obvious that they were short staffed and she was running to try to keep up with serving everyone.

Sunday breakfast buffet was great quality with many options The view was great and the location was great with short walks to lots of restaurants, parks and the Wolfe island ferry.

The pool was cold and needed to be cleaned. There was a party on the floor below us, that we called reception to have the music volume lowered, it took until 11:30 for action to be done.
