Room was very clean and comfortable. Loved the pool! The breakfast was exceptional and the staff working in the breakfast room very friendly and efficient. We liked that the room had both a fridge and microwave.

The staff working reception were not very friendly. We did not like that we had to pay an extra $75 for our dog to stay with us. This is not mentioned on the website when booking a room. We felt that $20 per night for out pet would have been more reasonable.

Breakfast was great and the added bonus of fresh fruit available for travel was excellent! The room was clean but like most hotel rooms the insulation from the noise level in the corridors was not good. Kept my partner up most of the night as guests came in and out.

Get a better WiFi system. I never managed to get access to it. Too much trouble to have to call front desk for help. This is an easy process anywhere else I've been.

Location was perfect for my purposes, close to restaurants, shopping and highway. Building was very clean and visually appealing. Room was nicely stocked, clean, good climate control and inviting. Front desk staff were polite enough, but seemed harried from the constant phone calls while trying to deal with guests. May have been a touch curt or not so complimentary about previous dealings. One bed in the room was very squeaky and there was a constant low level sound (like pigeons outside the window or a mechanical squeak), not enough to keep me awake, but noticeable.

Always love the breakfast and comfy beds and friendly helpful staff. I really like the new (to me) policy of not cleaning room every day of multi night visits.

The pool seemed small compared to the photo on your site. Room was very clean but I left a note to point out that "behind the nightstand" should be checked once in a while.

There was no free hot breakfast, coffee and muffins only.

Your ad states that this hotel offers a free hot breakfast with my reservation, but upon rising , all that was offered was coffee and muffins and you had to pay extra for the hot breakfast. I specifically choose this hotel because of the free hot breakfast and was forced to buy breakfast elsewhere and will look elsewhere for accommodations because of this false advertising. Very disappointed.

The friendly staff, the great breakfast!!! best free breakfast hands down. fresh food, ample supply of everything right to the last minute they make sure you get the same as the guest who ate at 6 am. very well done!! high marks for the kitchen staff!!!

the pool deck is in need of repair could be better stocked and the soap in the shower wasn’t stocked. but water clean no bleachy smell.

Delayed my July 2022 trip from Ottawa to SSM until I could get a reservation at the Hilton. Far and away the best place to stay in North Bay. A welcome stop along the way, has been a haven on Christmas Eve and during many a storm. Great value for the dollar, delicious buffet breakfast, friendly staff (front desk, room service, buffet ladies). Took a dip in the pool on the latest trip. Cool and refreshing. Love the noon checkout. Thanks Hilton staff. Keep the home fires burning 🔥

We really enjoyed the cook your own waffles and maple syrup.

Paper plates and plastic/wooden cutlery. This is very strange for English people! I did appreciate the littl trolley with real cutlery and plates in the corner though! More English Breakfast Tea and decaff tea would be great.

breakfast was great and the staff were out 3 times to freshen the hot buffet. Staff in the breakfast room wore masks. The room was clean and quite nice.

Staff at the check in did not wear masks. A lot of patrons in the hotel did not either. I feel that if the hosts set an example then maybe patrons would follow as an expectation. I did receive an email stating you were encouraging patrons to wear masks and I thought the hosts would as well.
