Homewood Suites By Hilton North Bay

Nice hotel--clean, quiet, very comfortable beds, spacious rooms. Good kitchen with dinnerware, silverware, pots and pans, etc. Good breakfast included, and one of the nicer exercise rooms we've had in our month-long trip across Eastern Canada. Hotel is situated on one of the many connecting bike paths through town. Nice farmer's market 10-minute walk (max). Very helpful and friendly staff, from the front desk, to the breakfast crew, to housekeeping.

Bit of a struggling town, but people were very friendly.

Rooms are great, well laid out and provide options to use your computer or watch tv without being in bed to use either. There was plenty of storage and room work or relax. It was very convenient location and close to both the lake and business area.

I always think parking security can be improved in most hotels. I didn't notice any parking lot cameras which I think is great deterant for thieves as they tend to target out of state/province folks as they won't return for any court appearences should they get caught.. But a minor thing.

the fact that in New Year’s Day where everything is practically closed for the holidays, the hotel took that day to do the pool maintenance instead of scheduling it at a different time. the whole point of us choosing this location was that it had a pool and that we could bring the kids swimming to keep them occupied. this should really be taking into account. as the next day when we’re up and leaving to return home as our holiday was ending, the pool is open.

I liked the kitchenette and how courteous and helpful the staff are. Having the included hot breakfast made mornings a breeze, and the wife really liked having the pool handy.

The Iron left some small marks on my clothes when I pressed them. A coat rack or hooks just inside the door would be super helpful to avoid tracking dirt through the room to get to the closet.

Friendly front desk clerk Mary Ann was great and answered any questions we had Very positive upbeat staff Cleaning staff were very informative when asked questions about North Bay Very clean fresh smell when you walk into rooms Julia in the kitchen was all alone on July 16 for breakfast and she did a great job! She never stopped! Next yr we will probably do 2 nights

Everything was great no complaints

Room was very spacious and clean. Comfy bed . Amazing breakfast selection. They had fruits, 4 different kinds of cereal, fresh bread, muffins, oat meal with option of dry fruits and nuts, scribbled eggs, sausages , hush Browns, cook your own waffles , coffee , hot water( which was actually hot) juices. So it was plenty to choose from. Jams, honey and cream cheese choices.

It was a busy morning and food was disappearing fast so people had to wait for refills. Not long at all, food was replaced quickly, but I think if the kitchen would use larger containers then problem would be fixed.

I loved the fact that I got a suite with kitchenette (but didn't use it, except for fridge and kettle). Very comfortable, clean, and fresh smelling. Rooms and hallways very well maintained. The price for my dates was quite attractive, (but looking today, Mar 2nd on Booking.com, I see the rates have jumped up by more than $50!!!) Why is that?.... on 1 day difference.

Snow removal was dismal. The area outside front doors was salted, but beyond that it was terrible. The area where vehicles would pull up and load/unload was not cleared at all. The parking lot was full of ruts and mounds of snow. For a Hilton property, this was very disappointing.

We went to the hotel not realizing the high rate. Still feel there could be some rooms which would not cost so much. Everyone was exceptionally helpful. The Hotel was exceptionally clean, and having been the first hotel we have stayed at since Covid, we were quite comfortable and pleased.

There could have been some lower rates, The TV could perhaps have a better Guide and ability to use it. We had trouble accessing the WI-FI, also.

Loved the breakfast, they try not to serve the same things every morning. The pancake station is the best. My whole family loved it. The room has a tall fridge, family-size microwave, dishwasher and also cooking pots, pans, and cutlery.

I wish the pool had a hot tub. I as think they should repair sections of the pool where the tiles are coming off.

Super friendly staff Great layout of our suite, more than enough space for a family 4. Loved the BBQ facilities and the kitchen in our suite. I could suggest to have some BBQ spice available, but that is really just a nice-to-have.

I could suggest to extend the breakfast hours to minimize traffic through the breakfast area. It could also be helpful to utilize both sides of the serving counter to speed up the process and reduce wait time. Please consider adding signage to ask single travelers not to sit at 4 seat tables - it makes it difficult for families.
