I have stayed at several inns here in Charlottetown, and this one is exceptional and hands down my favourite. Everything from the interior decor, to amenities, to service was great. The highlight is absolutely the incredible breakfast that is prepared by Randy every morning. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

Cleanliness of carpets/bathrobe/bath mat could use a wee bit more improvement. The decor in my room was beautiful and while I appreciate the aesthetic, the amount of decorative pillows on the bed were just a little much.

Charlotte's Rose Inn made a wonderful trip to PEI exceptional. The staff could not be kinder or more thoughtful, going out of their way to help us plan day trips, give recommendations, and accommodate our travel schedule (a particular shoutout to Randy here). Every single thing is done with care, including the truly phenomenal breakfast, which is an experience of its own. We loved our stay here and unreservedly recommend the Inn for future travelers in search of a singular place to stay on PEI.

They’ve thought of all the little touches and they go out of their way to help you find what you need. Breakfasts are fabulous. Staff are fabulous. The house is fabulous. It feels like Aunt Josephine’s house and getting to stay in the spare room. (From Anne of Green Gables). Amazing. The Pilot Room(?) just two blocks up the street was really good. There is a post office just a couple blocks up the street on Queen street, as well as banks and cute shops.

The warm personal welcome and the helpful happy worker, the beautiful rooms that look just like the photos, the amazing breakfast. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend! Much better than the big hotels where you pay extra for everything and are one of many, this lovely inn had the ‘at home feel, personal touch and all the help yourself treats etc we’re such a great surprise.

Our shower gel/body wash was empty but I’m sure had we noticed earlier and mentioned they would have refilled!

As a period property it was very nice. The breakfast was excellent

The bed was a little too high and a bit rickety and the shower, while very nice once you got it adjusted, was very difficult to control. The body jets, in particular, were too strong since there is no way to control the water pressure

Beautifully furnished, equipped, and maintained. I fear that from now on, every place I will stay at will struggle to catch my attention the way this one did.

The stairs when you have heavy luggage. The staff was ready to help, though.

The breakfast was exceptional. Each day you chose what you would like to have the next morning from a menu that included specialty items such as eggs benedict, quiche, smoked salmon omelet ...as well as local sausage, bacon and a variety of breads. Included at each breakfast were fresh berries, nuts, yogurt, local jams and honey. Tea and coffee were always available during the day as well as fruit and a new dessert item-chocolate cheese cake, almond cake, pastries, madeleines...There was a shared fridge as well as one that contained items for guests. Allysha looked after our every need with maps, restaurant advice and information on things to see. She was always available and even did our laundry one day. She made our stay as wonderful as it was!

The rooms were lovely and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfasts were amazing and so delicious. We had a choice of 3 meals to choose from each day and they made another dessert in the afternoons that were hard to pass up. Natasha was very attentive to many details. The location was very close to many restaurants and the Harbour. Would highly recommend.

wonderful heritage house in the centre of Charlottetown. All sights are very close to the B&B. Beautyful room and an outstanding breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. She provided us with excellent information for sights and activities on P.E.I. Don't miss the Pilot House for lunch or dinner about 200 m from the &B.
