The location was great. Walkable to many great restaurants, quiet and easy to access HWY 1. The rooms and lobby area are various is size but older looking ornate decor, clean and admirable

The restaurant was not open except for breakfast. The breakfast layout was not good, the food was ok but the atmosphere was not welcoming. I always choose hotels that have evening dining on site so that I don't have to leave my hotel. I thought it was the case here until I checked in. Sadly I has to order delivery

It’s a great location to walk to other stores . The breakfast was very good value ..bacon eggs toast always a winner. To go stuff as well like fruit, breakfast sandwiches,yoghurt etc Very friendly and accommodating staff . They clean the rooms every 3 days which I liked .they save on water and very eco friendly . No one needs new sheets every day .if I needed extra towel or something I asked the cleaning lady in the hall. Every hotel should conserve and help save the environment.

Only 1 ice machine on the main level so had to keep going up and down the elevator.

Location of the hotel was perfect for me. Also I liked being on the main floor although I had thought I could park in front of my door. The room was very comfortable and well appointed. Temperature was perfect and it had everything to meet my needs including easy access to wi Fi. The bedding was clean fresh and wonderful and the mattress incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was tasty and offered a lot. Fresh fruit was very much appreciated. The women running the breakfast were very very efficient and kind, especially the young gal topping up and filling requests of guests. She was very personable. Sylvia at the front desk was extremely kind, professional and most informative. She made sure I was aware of all I would need during my stay.

I used to manage a hotel so I am maybe a bit more aware or picky but there was dust on baseboards behind furniture when I went to use a plug and on parts of the lamp stand under the shade that you see when sitting but overall the rooms were very clean and the design and colour scheme most lovely. Lamps beautiful with nice lighting and the armchair was a nice touch. Overall perfect rooms for a most comfortable stay. Housekeeping staff I met in the hallway were most friendly and personable.

For reasons out of our control we had to cancel the reservation and reschedule for another date in the last moment. For our surprise, it turned out that the phrase you see when you do your reservation on booking.com “ …you don’t need to pay now, you could do it later at the hotel..” is misleading! Suddenly, as we were trying to cancel the reservation within a day of the date of your stay we got a got a message that we will still be charged fully. At this point we contacted directly the hotel and they were more than understanding and didn’t charge us for the late cancellation. The accommodations, service and location were excellent but we were happy to be their guests mainly for this interaction we had that showed us their care for the customers goes beyond just the business!

Breakfast is nice. Eggs, bacon, and sausage patties - but all microwaved - no real kitchen preparation.

Juices and water all in plastic bottles. Lots and lots of packaging and single-use plastic throw away plates, cups, cutlery. I'm pretty obsessive about this sort of thing. Having stayed here before, we brought our own plates, cutlery, and glasses and coffee cups, both for the room and for the breakfast. If such things concern you, you might consider coming equipped, and possibly mentioning the concerns about all the packaging and throwaway items.

Dave at the front desk was very friendly and professional. This was our first time visiting the city and he recommended some excellent places to eat and sites to see. He went above and beyond what you normally get at regular hotels. The jacuzzi suit was large and comfortable. highly recommend as a place to stay.

Nothing really. Only issue ( and not really an issue) was that there was no towel hook on the bathroom door. We let them know so I’m sure it’ll be fixed soon.

The breakfast was more than adequate a buffet style with lots of cereal choices, bread typed and juices etc. The only criticism I would make is the scrambled egg was microwave cooked.

I believe that the hotel is doing the best it can under conditions of recovering from Covid the hotel lounge and bar remain closed. I suspect it might be sometime before all the facilities will be open again. If we had known we might have chosen a hotel that had all the facilities open.

Location was perfect, close to family. Good value, decent breakfast

Room was right in front of the elevator and the place was full with a sporting event so a bit noisy. Bed was dreadfully soft and pillows not great. Would have been nice to have a microwave in the room

David at the front desk was exceptional looking after us. Due to a medical procedure we needed an early checkin and a late checkout. David cheerfully put it together for us and was so friendly knowing our names, etc.. We stay often and appreciate the staff so much, especially David, and the facility and the location....close to all amenities and the airport.
