- Hotel has a nice style and estetically it looks very nice - The room was comfortable and had an AC (which is a big advantage with Cartagena´s climate) - The staff is attentive and nice - Rooms have all necessary appliances - Breakfast is buffet type and it was included in room price

- The elevator broke on the 2nd day of our visit, so the rest of the week we had to use the stairs :( - Some rooms have no view (a view to the wall of another room) - For it´s price I think the hotel can improve the details like the elevator issues, improve a bit a variety of breakfast buffet, the views, etc

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Madisson Boutique Hotel, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. So much, I had to return --- during a month of work in Cartagena, I stayed here three times! The staff's attentiveness and kindness were beyond compare. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was greeted with warm smiles and a genuine eagerness to assist. Throughout my stay, the entire staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction, anticipating my needs even before I had to ask. The cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding. From the lobby to my room, everything was immaculate. Finally, the hotel's facilities were excellent --- you could find peace and comfort at the pool or sitting in the lobby. Overall, my stay at Madisson was nothing short of exceptional. Both the hotel and the staff left a lasting impression on me, and I can't wait to return again!

the property is exactly as the pictures , well taken care of , it was always clean the rooms were cleaned everyday and supplies replenished daily . staff was very helpful . jimmy was a great help he helped me find very nice spots to eat and see the best things Cartagena had to offer . the pool was always clean , towels were offered nice mirrors excellent property breakfast was served every morning

only thing which wasn’t a big issue , the breakfast was eggs or arepas but fruits and teas and natural juices were available. more options would be nice but still good

I got the master suite and it was just BEYOND. Huge room with dining table, perfect work station, huge and comfy bed. Loved it! The staff is super nice, polite, and helpful. The pool is quite small, but super charming. The location is also very nice because you have tons of restaurants and bars to chose from at a walking distance. Overall, loved it, would come back for sure.

There was no hair dryer on my room. I don’t know if the TV was missing a remote control but I was unable to get Netflix and stuff on it.

Great place in an excellent location within Bocagrande. Super close to bars, restaurants and only about an 8 minute drive to the historic centre and even less to Getsemani. The front desk and restaurant service was amazing! Especially Liz who attended my mum's dietary requirements personally in such a lovely manner! She was the best! On top of that the breakfast was fantastic, providing a bit of variety with different fruits every day and your old classics like eggs, ham, cheese, Müsli, etc, more than enough to keep us fuelled til a late lunch. The room was on the street side but we all slept quite well. Great water pressure and temperature in the shower. Super comfortable beds and fast wifi. Overall it was an amazing experience. 10/10 would go back.

Buffet breakfast was good and varies daily. from 630 AM to 10AM. Nice hot soup and oatmeal. courteous staff, cleanness, and nice size pool open until 8pm, Front desk staff very helpful. Taxi available for visitors at current rate $25,000 pesos to airport. Nice and comfortable vehicles. Room's fridge with beverages at hotel's prices that are not listed, drink at your own risk. Overall a nice place a block away from the beach. Fully recommended.

I liked the staff, location the size of the room and bathroom.

The complimentary breakfast needs a lot of improvement, a guest should be able to order more than a 2 egg omelette. Here’s a list of foods they could include. 1. Cereals 2. Bacon 3. Sausage. 4. Egg Benedict. 5. Harsh browns. 6. Pancakes. 7. Cheese scrambled eggs. 8. Baked beans. 9. French toast. 10. Yogurt.

Check in went smooth. It took some time, but the gentleman was very polite and hospitable, showing where to sit and wait till he handled another guest before checking me in. This gives one safety ( for example due to COVID19 etc.) so that was really good. Location was very central (convenient things were in front of the hotel, at walking distance) and the hotel was clean with a very nice breakfast.

the only downsize of the room was that there was no view, but you get that depending on your luck at any hotel.

Breakfast service was super nice, though I wish there was a little bit more variety on a day to day basis. The hotel rooms itself was very spacious, and the most important part is the food around was all very well prices, fair, and that there were little marts very close to the hotel.

The staff. Whoever did the hiring for this hotel did a fantastic job! Every single staff member was so nice and helpful. Our cleaner was so lovely and helpful and our favourite was the guy at breakfast every morning! He taught us a new Spanish word most mornings and was so helpful! I wish I knew his name but big thank you to him. He is an absolute gentleman!! Also, big respect to the hotel for the breakfast. We read that some people did not like it and the hotel must have take this on board as we are very fussy and particular when it comes to breakfast and would easily give it a 10/10. The omelette was delicious and lots of fruit on offer too 🤍

Genuinely nothing. If I had to say something I would prefer if the hotel had ‘do not disturb’ signs because we came up to our room after using the pool one day and we couldn’t go inside as our room was being cleaned. She was such a nice lady though she went as quick as possible and let us in.
