The location is perfect to go to the beach walking, it's just a couple blocks away. The hotel has very comfortable bedrooms and lots of space. The beds are comfortable and very clean. The staff at the hotel was very kind, helpful and responsive to every question we had. Breakfast was great, with a nice display of some of the most typical colombian cuisine. It's a great place, in a safe area and a fair price.

Breakfast was good, but some people like to have lots of different options to eat, this is probably not the case. The hotel doesn't have a pool, however, the beach is very close to the hotel.

Breakfast spread was one of the best we found in Colombia with eggs, cheese, ham, arepas, pancake, chicken, watermelon, papaya, pineapple, mini croissants and more and it started early around 6/6.30 so its great if you have excursions or flights you can still grab breakfast. The hotel is looking very new and up to date with a nice outdoor downstairs bar/restaurant area.

Our room was on the smaller side but not really a big deal for us as we are just 2 people, it also had quite a small window but again we don't stay in the room much so it was fine for us.

Staff were super helpful, it was a great location in Bocagrande with shops and restaurants, room compact but super clean and bright, lovely rooftop patio with a view all around. We felt safe, beds were comfy with good sheets, nice toiletries, air con worked well, there was a safe in the room for valuables, and it was quiet for sleeping, given the location. And a very good price, under $100 Cdn. Exceptional breakfast, the most diverse selection of homemade items, plus a great selection of fruits - better than any other over three weeks in Colombia. And free! We ordered cappuccinos as an extra and they were great. Also, they were willing to let us eat at the very end of the breakfast time as our flight arrived late one morning, and they made us a “to-go” breakfast when we had to check out at 2:30 a.m. on our departure day. What service!

There was absolutely nothing to not like. We were so happy to return to Oz at the end of our trip, felt like coming home. We cancelled another hotel we were going to stay at, opting to go somewhere we knew we liked for that one last sleep.

Breakfast has everything you need to start the day. You can even ask for an omelete fresh from the kitchen. There are various types of bread and even meat and soup for those who like to eat well in their first meal of the day. The staff is always ready to help you with anything you need during the meals. You can also count with coffee and water 24/7 and you can help yourself as many times as you want. I recommend you try the "arepas", a small flat bread typical of Colombia, made of corn.

Although the room is not small, there is not a place to sit except for the bed. One or two chairs would make the guests more comfortable. I also missed a desk to work on my computer.

The staff and hotel are friendly and accommodating. We arrived at 10 a.m. and check-in is not until 3 p.m. We were offered complimentary breakfast and were able to check in at 10.30 a.m. The room is standard but clean and has all the necessities needed. On our 2nd day, we were offered a room upgrade at no extra cost. We declined the offer as we were already comfortable with our room, and we were only staying for 2 nights. The staff have gone above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. I definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Everything was perfect! The staff was really nice and always available, thank you very much! We highly appreciated the offer to change to a bigger room without additional costs. The room was big, bright and clean. The breakfast was really good with lot of options and also with typical Colombian and Caribbean food. The location is good, lot of restaurants and shops next to it and also very close to the beach.

Nothing, everything was perfect!

The hotel was beautiful and very modern, the bedroom was extremely cozy, and the bed was big and comfy. Breakfast had a variety of both local food and breakfast staple items like, bread, yogurt, cereal and etc. The hotel has a restaurant right on the entrance, and a rooftop bar on the 9th floor. I didn’t try anything from the restaurant, but me and my fiancé went for a drink on the terrace and it was good, with standard prices for the place. Staff was kind, and very accommodating to our needs. Would definitely book again!

we stayed there for two nights (and checked out on the third day at 1pm, and we didn’t have any extra towels, or other roll of toilet paper, besides the one that was already in the bathroom. I am sure that if we asked it wouldn’t be a problem, but it would be better if they were already in the bedroom

My 1 year old smiled every time we returned to our room. She really enjoyed waking up to the sun beaming through the window, I think this gave her a burst of energy. She also loved the breakfast. This is the most we’ve ever seen her eat. The beds were super comfortable. The staff were super accommodating and friendly. We were upgraded upon our arrival at no additional cost. The room was a good enough size for a family of 3. We wanted to extend our stay here however, there were no vacancies.

This new hotel is an extraordinary value. The location is ideal, walking distance to hundreds of great restaurants and to the beach, that is a block away, and the included breakfast is absolutely wonderful, along with the extremely comfortable beds & pillows. Martin, Alex, Dylan, Kelwen & Luis Jair at the restaurant/bar next to the front desk outside are THE BEST. As wonderful as the breakfast, facilities and ideal location are, these fine, friendly and attentive young gentlemen will make your stay one to remember. Please remember to tip all of them generously, because salaries in Colombia are very low, between $200-$400 U.S. dollars a month, on average. I AM GOING BACK!!!

Hotel is great, but Bocagrande is unfortunately not a nice place to be. There are some nice restaurants (e.g. peruvian) and stores around but once you are outside you will get molested every 10 meters by aggressive street vendors and that kills all the vibe. It's not a secret that the beaches in Cartagena city are not the best ones in Colombia, but the surrounding is a little bit disappointing too (no nice promenade).
