The room was beautiful and extremely comfortable. I was disappointed because I believed what I paid for included breakfast, but I was informed that it did not. I felt the cost was pricey to not include breakfast. I specifically chose this hotel for the closeness to the airport, the free shuttle service, and the breakfast that I thought it included. They people were very friendly and helpful. I liked the security of the room cards for using the elevators. The quiet atmosphere of the hotel was also excellent.

As mentioned above, I thought breakfast was included, but it wasn't; therefore I thought it was pricey for a room for such a short time as I left at 6am.

The room was very comfortable and everyone that worked there was great. I had everything I needed and the bed was quite comfortable.

The shuttle driver picking up at the airport pulled up far before the spot where the sign said to wait (even though there was room). Due to this, many of the people who were waiting where they had been told to did not manage to get a ride on that shuttle. When someone (not me!) pointed this out to the driver, he just kind of shrugged.

Free shuttle doesn't start until 4am and we needed 3:30. We had them order us taxi service and The same shuttle bus arrived to take us and charged $10 per couple (we expected our own taxi) the regular flight time for Air Transat is 6am depart so I'm sure the hotel is aware of the need for early shuttle service and they advertise free shuttle. It was part of my decision to book there. Not that it's a lot of money, it was the principal and the confusion that was frustrating.

The property is perfect for a night before a flight out of the San Jose airport. The whole place is comfortable, clean, amazing staff, the restaurant was open late which was so good to hear after driving five hours straight. Our family was so happy to be there and check in easily, quickly, had the best dinner and went straight to our room and went to sleep.

There's nothing we don't like about this property. The breakfast is AMAZING too!

We wanted to stay near the airport on our last night and this hotel was wonderful! Staff was very friendly and the room comfortable and clean. There is a restaurant on site and the breakfast buffet is wonderful with a lot of options to choose from. But if looking for something different, just across from it, a few steps away, there are several restaurants (Peruvian, Argentinian and Mexican). There's also a Walmart next door, which is very convenient to stock up on snacks before the flight. The shuttle to the airport is very convenient and it was on-time.

We are very happy with our overall experience and will definitely stay here again. The only thing we can think of is the pool. It is outdoors and is not heated so it felt cold when we were there in the afternoon. Maybe consider adding heating to the pool.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is comfortable and there are some restaurants within walking distance. Department store is also walkable (get water and snacks). Breakfast wasn't included for us so don't know how that was. The room is clean and spacious. Water pressure in the bathroom is great. We stayed her twice - at the beginning of our trip and on the last night before catching an early flight. Shuttle service is convenient.

First off the location is great. right across the highway to the airport. That's a big plus because there is a shuttle that will take you directly to the hotel. You don't have to be hassled by the San Jose airport taxi drivers! Next, There is a shopping center with restaurants and a Walmart with a grocery store adjacent to the property. This came in very handy during our stay. The rooms are clean and we even had some tropical birds pay us a visit each morning on our window.

No free breakfast. They do serve breakfast for a fee. We pasted and walked to walmart for an affordable harty option.

I love the Courtyard for an overnight stay before or after a flight from SJO airport! It is the closest hotel (literally 5 minutes drive) plus they offer an airport shuttle that comes around every 30 minutes and collects you for free! I loved the excellent breakfast buffet - for a Courtyard that was a 5-star buffet! I stayed at other higher-ranked hotels with fewer options! Amazing! The staff also is so great, I loved chatting with them. They helped me with some questions unrelated to the hotel - and were very helpful and sweet.

Room was clean, very comfortable. What you would expect from a Marriott hotel. Room was comfortable but then too hot during the night.

I felt we were being gouged because we were by the airport and there are no restaurants in the close vicinity. My husband and I had dinner in the hotel. The waitor was unpleasant. the meal was priced way over what i would expect (even from an airport hotel) and a glass of wine was about 10 x what it cost instead of the average 2 x cost. the woman at the front desk was also very unpleasant and demeaning. We had stayed at the Fairfield by Marriot next door only 2 weeks before and had the opposite experience.

This hotel is great for onward travel or if you are leaving late at night or an early morning flight. The airport is just a few mins across the highway.The free shuttle to the airport is great.It runs every 30 mins.It’s very clean and rooms are spacious.

When I checked in they said they could not find my booking.I showed the receptionist my booking confirmation on bookings.com and she said that the confirmation number should start with a different letter, even though I pulled up my booking on the app. I was worried of course.Her customer service skills weren’t that great.It took another receptionist to figure out that there was a typo on their side with my Surname. There is nothing really spectacular about this hotel. Standard airport hotel. Customer service is average. I asked for help with the tv,they said they would send someone to help me but nobody came. I eventually figured it out myself.Staying here for a night for the convenience of the location is enough.
