We were lucky to stay at the hotel when there were just a few other guests, so we got to enjoy the VIP feeling. ;) The staff were brilliant! They all were friendly and helpful so I am giving 10 points just because of the experience with the personnel. Instead of complaining afterwards, I recommend asking for things you are missing during your stay. They are giving their best to accommodate you! The place maybe requires a bit of refurbishing, but I love the late 90ies feeling of luxury. We enjoyed the spa quite a lot (jacuzzi, sauna and heated pool). The girls working there were more than wonderful (looking lovely and being super-kind). Both pools outside were perfect! Our room was facing the recreational pool and a small park, but in the distance, we were able to see the ancient fortress of Klis which was a cinematic experience. I believe rooms facing this side are the best. We had dinner at the hotel's restaurant and the best thing about that was the pianist, I believe his name was Vlado. What a wonderful gentleman and a true maestro! The bar on our second evening was quite a nice place to relax, great menu of cocktails and drinks. Extremely friendly and professional waiter Brane and his wife (who also works at the bar) made us feel so relaxed! We were treated with drinks and ice cream on the house which was quite a nice touch. I recommend checking out the nearby tavern called River, excellent seafood, grilled meat and salads. If you stay in Solin, do not allow yourself to miss the archaeological site of Salona! This was the capital of the Roman province of Dalmatia and it was an impressive city for its era. It'll give you that time travel experience! One more important detail about the hotel, it's pet friendly which was amazing! Our kitten enjoyed the room and the balcony. The room was properly cleaned even though I asked them not to use the vacuum so that the small one doesn't get scared. They did a great job!

These will be just a few tips on how to improve the experience, not negative critics! :) 1. It would be wonderful if an espresso machine with capsules was available, for example as a paid request before booking. We would have opted for it. :) 2. The minibar in the room should have 2 bottles of each drink if 2 guests are staying. (to avoid fighting for the same desired beverage) ;) 3. The tap water in Solin is not quite drinkable and it's very hard, so even for the provided kettle if one wants to make tea, a bottle of still water would be a great detail. This way your kettles would be easier to maintain and you would avoid limescale build-up in the kettle.

Absolutely beautiful spacious room. The staff were exceptional especially Marino the barman - he attended to all our needs and was absolutely lovely. Diana in reception (and the lovely blonde lady - sorry we don’t know your name) were extremely helpful with information about Split and directions. The breakfast staff were lovely too and a lovely gentleman on check in. It’s a great place to stay - cross the bridge and you’re in the beautiful historic town of Solin. Great restaurants and bars especially the Konoba River Pizzeria. Pools were fantastic. Only a 15 min uber ride to Split. Breakfast was lovely and the chef who made omelettes was great. They had musicians come in poolside in the evenings which was fantastic and a piano player in the beautiful bar area.

We had dinner in the restaurant the last night and unfortunately the flavour wasn’t great and gnocchi tasteless. Was a shame as it was quite expensive.

Hotel and room was spacious and quiet and the hotel had very good facilities. The staff were friendly and helpful and the welcome drink...welcome! Breakfast self service had a good selection. Solin centre was a short stroll across the river and had a few local bars and reasonably priced restaurants. Road access to the coast and airport was easy.

Solin and the Hotel is situated close to an intersection of major roads, so the surroundings area is a little built up. Also driving there was a bit of an adventure...but with the help of Google maps we made it! Getting an Uber to take us into Split was a little hit and miss as the journey is a few KMs and a few seemed to give up before arriving, although we persevered and were successful after a few attempts. The hotel did offer an alternative but was 2-3 times the cost of an Uber (i guess you pay for the convenience).

The rooms wear really specious and a nice little balcony. 2 swimming pools. The area was nice and quiet we wear by car a lot of parking space overal good for a 4 star hotel, but not a 5 star one.

The hotel could use a little upgrade on its inventory. The staff wear gentle in general they did their job but that’s it. The education about hospitality of a 5 star hotel is far to search. But unfortunately that was the issue in whole of Croatia. The country is magical but they still need to learn about treating tourist. They will get there at some point.

Hotel is good. Suite large. Breakfast good. Pool great and never crowded. Solin is a pleasant interesting village on the edge of split if you care to walk around.

We managed to get transport in and out of split very easily but there were some delays because we're in the very peak of season and everybody wants to go out and eat around 8 p.m.. A couple of times you had to wait 20 minutes but if you plan ahead it's not really a problem. Try both local taxis reception which are pretty good and is there is a backup. Getting taxes back from the centre of town was never a problem as long as you figure out where the taxi ranks are, which is not hard.

The pools were great, both very large size. We enjoyed using the large inflatable swans. very comfortable pool beds when you could get one. Good sized rooms, comfortable beds. Good location for visiting Solin and Klis

Breakfast wasn’t 5* quite often running out of pancakes. Most staff very young but did their best. Pool beds were often taken, too much room around pool was filled with chairs instead of sunbeds. One bar tender is rude to foreigners.

Excellent breakfast, very good staff, nice pool area

Church bells at 5am, in bathroom which should be adapted for disabled was only the mirror as it should be, and even that was useless if you’re not seating on a wheelchair.

Excellent rooms, very good breakfast, amazing 3 swimming pools and jacuzzi.

Parking can get pretty far when there is an event in near by church, check-in was way, way too long, and they forgot to replace towels in both rooms.

When we move bed, under it it was dirty as hell. Also carpets could be washed because they are a little bit dirty. Furniture is old. In bathroom ventilation was not functioning. And it was expensive as hell. Currently I am in three star hotel which looks much much better.
