The room was nicely decorated, clean, had plenty of outlets (Important when you have two people working on their computers) Shower and toiletries were great. The welcome drink was also appreciated and the bottled water was a welcomed sight. The staff at the hotel is absolutely wonderful. I called a few hours before we were arriving on the ferry. She told me someone would be waiting for us. Sure enough a man with a golf cart was waiting for us and took us right to the hotel. When we were checking in, I was asked for my passport. It was in that instant, I realized I had left my passport and money in a safe in our in Hvar. The woman behind the desk simply said not to worry, she would get it for me. Within three hours, my passport and money were in my hands. She was absolutely wonderful. She helped with dinner reservations, transportation to the airport, excursion suggestions. I can't stress enough how wonderful the staff is at your hotel. Everyone was extremely helpful in so many ways!

We LOVED the location and the view from our room.

The walls are pretty thin so we could hear the people above us walking the entire time. This might be because of the hardwood floor rather than thin walls but that was a bit inconvenient. Any little step above us sounded like big foot was walking back and forth. Also, there was a door trap that is used to access pipes in the bathroom ceiling that kept crashing down at various times throughout our stay. We informed the front desk about it the first time and they put it back up with tape, which looked like had been tried before. We just left it on the side of the bathroom after the 2nd time falling since it scared us out of sleep during the wee hours of night.

We stayed at the Piazza Heritage Hotel for one night. This was a family trip and we booked two rooms on the first floor. The property is in an excellent location, right in the center of old town. It is walking distance to the RIVA promenade, restaurants, the Split Port, and Diocletian Palace. The staff at this property is wonderful. They make everything easy and convenient for their guests. Upon arrival at the ferry port, we were transported to our hotel via a staff member free of charge. Josephine at the front desk helped us with changing our car rental booking. Initially, we were supposed to pick up the rental car from Split Airport the next day, but Josephine called Thrifty and made arrangements to have the pick up arranged from Split Center. Transportation to Thrifty was again arranged by the hotel free of charge. Breakfast was included in the room rate and it was delicious. It was served at the restaurant next door. The chef prepared one of the best omelettes and the breakfast had a nice variety of items such as bread, cereal, coffee, tea and fruits. We even walked to the grocery store (Konzum) to get a few chocolates for our family back home. On the way to the store we stopped at Kava2 which is a great coffee shop in Split. I would definitely recommend this hotel to all my fellow travelers who are coming to Split. Thank you Piazza Heritage Hotel Staff for an awesome and memorable stay.

Situated in the amazing historical part of Split in a car-free location but close to station and public transport. I’m traveling by car and I went to the beginning of the pedestrian zone and someone picked us up and carried our lugage. The hotel is beautiful decorated, rooms were lovely and beds very comfortable. Clean room, good shower. There’s a restaurant with the hotel where we had a delicious dinner. Breakfast buffet was very good, I love Split, such a lively atmosphere and interesting history, I will certainly return to this city and this hotel.

When I was brought back to my car the police was politely irritated because it was standing in a no parking zone. But I could drive away after excuses by me in the name of the hotel

Great location Staff were amazing! Met at the parking they arranged. They checked multiple times that we were ok finding it. Guided to hotel. Check in great. When they knew we had an 0500 departure they immediately arranged breakfast boxes without being asked. Booked as a table at a hard to get into restaurant even though short notice and a Saturday night!! I have stayed in some of the very best hotels in the world (Peninsula Hong Kong for example) and this service is right up there!! Room spacious and comfy!

Everything about the Piazza Heritage Hotel is exceptional. The room was a great size with a queen bed and a sofa bed for our daughter and still plenty of room. We had a lovely piazza view room with balcony. Great shower and bathroom. Can't speak highly enough of the staff and the assistance they gave us throughout the stay. Very friendly. Breakfast was amazing, probably best coffee we had in Split. Location - fabulous, fabulous, fabulous.

The best thing about the hotel is the location, right in the centre of Split. It was nice to look out to the square in the morning from our room. Everything is directly on the doorstep. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us, especially when booking restaurants. The hotel is very clean and has nice decor.

Rooms looking over the square can be rather noisy at night. (Didn’t bother us too much though)

Great location, in the middle of the old town, 30 minute drive from Split airport & within a short walk of everything really. Recommend the hotels transfer service, Mario was full of information & very friendly, at drop off they have somebody collect you & take you to the hotel since cars cannot go in to the centre. Check-in/out easy, incredibly helpful ladies on reception. Rooms spotless & extremely comfortable. Overall faultless.

Perfect location and friendly staff! Great shower and comfy bed. the breakfast cafe was wonderful!

My only issue was I could not turn the air on in the middle of the night when I got warm. The staff did say make sure windows were closed or AC would not go on but my windows were closed and it didn’t go on. We were only there one night so I never asked what I should do so I suggest asking specifically how to turn it on when you get to the room.

Good choice at breakfast. Eggs to order. Super friendly staff. Lovely L’Occitane products and amazing rain shower. Tea and coffee plus robes and slippers. Loved its location which meant you could head in for an hour to freshen up plus proximity to water and restaurants made it all so easy.

Pillows were fine but I’m fussy and like them super feathery!
