Stayed here from 4th to 7th of October 2024. Great location on the edge of Ostrava city centre. 10 mins walk to the city centre. Well run hotel by a nice couple who make a lot of effort to make sure you have a nice stay. We tried the breakfast one morning and it was very nice and good value for money, brought up to our room on a tray for us! 😀 We stayed in the top floor with a twin room (very clean) , it had its own separate bathroom and separate toilet room, it felt like a mini apartment, even had a proper fridge for your food and drinks plus kettle and tea+coffee! . Very quiet, hardly hear any noise from the street outside. Central heating worked well to keep us warm as was a bit chilly outside for early October. Free parking in the car park but we arrived by public transport from the airport so didn't need parking this time. Best hotel in Ostrava for price-Quality ratio. We will likely stay again for our next visit to Ostrava in 2025.

There was no TV in our particular room but I think most of the Rooms do come equipped with a TV, it was not an issue for us as we was out for most of the afternoon and evening. The pillow on the bed was not my favourite type but that's a matter of personal choice I guess. 😁

I really enjoyed my stay! I came for one night for the Czech language exam that is held near at school. Hotel hosts were very friendly and supportive, gave me good recommendations about the city. The room was very very clean and nice. It had all you can need: hairdryer, towels, kettle, small fridge, tv, glasses and mugs. As a bonus you can feel very cozy and comfy with the electric fireplace and choose the color of your lights in the room to create relaxing atmosphere :) I also ordered breakfast additionally and it was very good, it had eggs, bread, sausages, fruits, coffee, sweet bakery, really a lot and delicious too. The room itself was really nice. If I would be traveling to Ostrava for any other reason I would stay here. And of course it was such a good value for money. Overall I felt very homey vibe :) and for others who come here for the exam, of course the location near the school is a plus. On the day of my exam it was raining so hotel owners offered us a car ride free of charge. It was so nice of them to take care of us. I will always remember their kindness and wish them the best :)

The owner of the hotel and his wife were amazing, caring, and very helpful. The room looked like a small apartment and was very clean and tidy. I enjoyed staying there. The owner's wife was preparing breakfast herself and bringing to your own room. Breakfast was cute and tasty. The location is very good, close to Main station (by taxi 10 min, by public transport 15 min) and to city center. I was satisfied with my stay in Zlata Era.

There's nothing to comment on... as I stayed only 1 night.

We have arrived for a long weekend. The accommodation was clean and tidy. The room was cleaned daily without being asked. There is a bus stop near the hotel, which takes you to the city centre and to the shops in the "outskirts" in 10 minutes. If you feel like walking, the lookout is a 10 minute walk away. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone. We will be back 10/10

Brilliant hotel. The rooms are large especially for the price. Really clean and tidy. If we ever visit Ostrava again we will definitely stay at Zlatá-Éra. Was offered breakfast for a good price however we didn't take them up on the offer as we were leaving quite early but lovely to be offered.

Nothing it was a really nice stay.

The location is very good. The building is renovated. The staff was very friendly and polite. They even gave us Ostrava city card for discounts which was amazing.

We got the rooftop room which has a strange layout. We hit our heads on several occasions and if you do not pay attention you might get hurt.

The staff was very nice they accommodated our last minute change allowed us a larger room since we brought one extra guest with us. They even stayed at the reception desk past the closing time specifically for us. The man at the reception desk then told us exactly where the great nightlife would be and how to get there. The room was absolutely perfect as it was separated into 2 two-person sleeping areas which was ideal since we were a couple and a pair of friends. The washroom was spacious and beautiful. And the classic cars around the property really gave it a nice touch. Towels, soap, coffee, tea and of course all the appliances you could need were all provided and it was very spacious as well. The beds were fairly comfortable and the price was just great for the level of accommodation I honestly find it hard to believe this place is only rated by 3 stars I'll probably be coming back again sometime soon with my girlfriend.

Honestly, nothing major. There was only one cream for the coffees but nobody even used it. No shampoo provided (but also not a big deal )

The hotel is located very close to the city center. It's just a few minutes to get to the town hall and begin sightseeing. There are two markets nearby, which are very convenient for any snack or drink shopping. There was a fridge in the room to keep your products cold. The hotel is right by a fairly busy street, but it's super silent inside. I realized that when I saw a huge truck passing by, but didn't hear a thing. For colder days there is an electric heater you can set up to your needs. Breakfasts were delivered every day to the room and the personnel prepared a vegetarian version for us. Overall, a really great place to stay. Wifi is very good and fast. The desk is more than enough to work on during your stay.

On the day of my check-out, weather was really bad and hotel owners gave me a free ride to my destination. Great location, extremely kind people, comfortable and clean accommodation . I definitely recommend. 10/10 Thank you for the great experience.

Very friendly staff. Great location, just walking distance to the city center. Breakfasts nice too.

Pity the restaurant is closed. Cannot think about anything else.
