Hotel U Krize

Breakfast was pleasant, suited both me and my mum who is 80 and a fussy eater. The location was perfect for our needs as we wanted to visit typical sights. The room did not have a kettle but we were offered to obtain coffee and tea whenever we wanted from the restaurant area so it was fine.

Our room was a little awkward, we both banged our heads on the ceiling as it was like an attic room, given my mum is 4' 9" and I'm 5' 1" it was a good job I hadn't gone with my 6' husband or we may have needed a hospital visit.

An excellent location. Very quiet at night. The breakfast had a good range of foods as well as the option for scrambled eggs and sausage cooked to order. Staff were very helpful. The room had a safe and a fridge. Lots of great restaurants and bars close by. Opposite the funicular to the lookout tower and across from a tram stop. Easy to get about on the excellent public transport.

Brighter lighting would be useful (getting old).

Perfect location walking distance from the old town from one side and the castle from the other side. Great and very friendly stuff who care about the needs of the guests. Breakfast was pleasantly surprising. Room was clean. We used their parking place which was really helpful since finding parking spot in Prague is really difficult. We will definitely stay in this lovely hotel again on our next visit of Prague.

We loved our entire stay. The location is fantastic! In the center of the city, we did everything on foot! Friendly and cordial staff. Breakfast is wonderful! Very well organized, staff always attentive, the room is not confusing or noisy, it is very cozy! Breakfast is varied and balanced in options, and above all delicious! Congratulations to the whole team and thank you for giving us such a comfortable stay!

We liked everything!

Convenient location not far from the Karl's bridge and very friendly and helpful staff, especially in the restaurant. The restaurant serves delicious food and also the breakfast was very good. Room was clean and just fine.

Bathroom was a bit shabby. The toilet seat was too small for the toilet and the shower head was broken, so the whole bathroom got wet while showering. Also bathroom could be cleaner; there's fungus between the tiles. During the night quite a lot of noise, because of people walking up and down the stairs.

We stayed in the superior room so had a separate sofa area which was great. Breakfast was lovely and reception staff were very helpful. the room was clean and comfortable, nothing special but good value for money. Location was great and within walking distance to everything you’d like to see.

At times breakfast was very busy and some people struggled to find tables. There is a tram stop just outside the hotel which can make it a little loud, but you get used to it and for the price we payed, I cannot complain.

breakfast was excellent. The room was big with 2 seperate places to sleep. the bed downstairs was most cofy. upstars had no slatted base. very helpful reception.

a bit too hot. luckily there were windows to open.

We liked everything: The location- close to the River Vltava and to the bridge, close to the tram stop, to the funicular that takes you up to funicular to Petrina hill etc. Room was clean and every day the bins were emptied, fresh towels replaced and room tidied up. Nice view out of the window! Value for money!

We did not like that there was no kettle in the room so we could not boil up water for tea when we returned back from the city in the evening

The location was really good, the staff was really nice and helpful. The breakfast was nice as well. Price wise the hotel is perfect.

Room was ok for the price, the shower was a bit dirty but nothing to much. The toilet seat was strange highs as 192 tall person needs to sit with the tips of his toes touching the ground 😂

Liked the location a lot: near city center, old town and tram stop. Also there're many restaurants near hotel. Room was great, cleaning was every day. Perfect hotel staff)

I really do not like the noise isolation, looks like walls are thin. But it wasn't critical for us
