The location of the boutique hotel is just incredible - in the heart of Prague, barely 100 m from the Charles bridge! And yet you don’t hear the street noise due to the old-style double windows. The 18-century-palazzo has been renovated preserving the spirit of bygone days. Our apartment was spacious (living room +bedroom) with a very chic vast shower (double rain shower, never seen before) and 2 (!) queen-size beds. As a family of 3 we appreciated this. Free coffee and tea in the room, a little fridge containing some drinks (minibar), toiletries, bathrobes and even slippers were there :)

Nothing :) but there are several points. The check-in is across the street in the hostel under the „tourist information“ sign (apparently the same owner). They mention it in the reservation confirmation, but still you have to remember it. The receptionists there were extremely nice! You also can check-in online (requires typing in lots of information tho) and get a code for the door, so you don’t have to go to the hostel. NB: Domus Balthasar is not a hotel, but rather an aparthotel, with no common spaces and no breakfast. You have lots of cafes in the area, but given the price a breakfast would be nice, but the facility is just a renovated house with several apartments. Don’t get me wrong, the interior and the atmosphere are absolutely stunning.

Perfect location in a more quiet neighbourhood compared to the Old City. Lots of restaurants and cafes at walking distance, the bridge is 1 minute away and a big tram station is also very close. The room looked amazing, tasteful interiors and furnishing, and the staff very helpful and available. You get the best of a serviced apartment and the hotel experience. Despite lacking a reception and concierge, the staff is available at the Hostel, 20 meters away from the entrance door. Overall, great comfortable place that's worth the money.

It's an old renovated block and if you get a room adjacent to the next building, you might hear noise or people talking from the other side of the wall. It wasn't a big deal though, just people living their lives until not too late in the evening (and the hotel provides earplugs).

Such a beautiful room. Gorgeous furniture and toiletries, and the staff were kind enough to provide roses and wine to help us celebrate our anniversary. Without doubt the best hotel I've ever stayed at! Super lovely check in staff too, so nice to chat with them.

There was nowhere to hang clothes or put things away. We were on the top floor, and there are lotssss of uneven stairs. Not a problem for us, but good to be aware of if you've any difficulties :).

Perfect location! The hotel went above and beyond by organizing a virtual parking permit for us, allowing us to park directly in front of the door. This made our stay much easier, as we didn’t have to worry about parking in a new city. A seamless and stress-free experience—thank you! The apartment was very clean and fresh, with a lovely view of the quiet street, despite being in a lively surrounding area. It was a peaceful retreat in the middle of the city's vibrant atmosphere—highly appreciated!

Location was excellent - close to the city centre, safe and well signposted, the room was as pictured, and exceeded expectations. Room was cleaned daily, coffee replenished, excellent decor and furnishings. Thoroughly enjoyable and would recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to return to Domus Balthasar for another stay in Prague. Superb!

Amazing location right by the Charles bridge. Lots of restaurants and bars in the area within walking distance. Even though it was in a busy tourist section the room we stayed in was very quiet and we were not disturbed by noises from the street.

The only downside was the number of stairs and narrow staircase, which was difficult to manoeuvre with a pushchair and large suitcase. But given that’s the style of buildings in Prague there’s not much you can do about it

Boutique, stylish, brilliant location, and great staff. If you like unique rooms, space and stylish accommodation, without having to interact with many or and other people, this is the one! Well designed and super comfy

My only small note would be you can hear the noise from the street well into the night and the morning, not drunks, just people and the odd bin men noises, especially if it’s hot and windows are open

Clean and beautiful apartment which is just a few steps away frm Charles Bridge, great if you want to catch the morning sunrise. Some great attractions are just a few minutes walk away too. The bathroom was huge, and the heater double up as a ladder hanger to warm up your towel and clothes while you shower, nice touch. There's a mini mart beside the property that sells delicious bakery. The only downside is that there's no lift, a cabin sized luggage and a hand carry will do fine.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and I must say it was a truly remarkable experience. The hotel is brand new and beautiful. The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect, situated just a few meters away from the Charles Bridge. It allows for easy access to all the major attractions of Prague. Moreover, our room provided a stunning view of Prague Castle, adding an extra touch of enchantment to our stay. The hotel staff was attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests we had. The service was impeccable, ensuring that every aspect of our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms themselves were spacious, well-appointed, and exuded a sense of luxury and sophistication. One of the highlights of our stay was the bed. It was super comfy, with comfortable mattresses and bedding. I wish I could take it home!

Newly open hotel in the historical city center, everything is withing walking distance. Views from the windows are spectacular. The whole facility is beautiful and you can tell it´s expensively furnished. Bed was very comfortable, high mattresses and extremely comfortable bedding. The Best of all was bathroom, beautiful with crystal chandelier and very wide and comfortable shower for two ;) Front desk of the hotel is in the tourist information across the street, but when we rang the bell, the staff came and did a check in with us. Anna was extremely nice, welcoming and helpful. We felt very comfortable and enjoyable . Thanks for everything and definitely we will be back soon.
