The hotel is in a quiet area with houses and old and nice buildings. The access to the main Oslo touristic objectives is very easy with trams no 13 and 12. Tram no 13 station is 200 meter away and tram no 12 station is 500-600 meter away. Also access to Oslo central railway station is easy with these 2 trams. The hotel have a nice and relaxing terrace in the front where you can stay after a full day in the city. Also hotel have a sauna, but we didn't use it. We was 3 families with 2 double rooms and 1 triple room. The rooms was clean and spacious. A special mention for bed quality; I usually have problem to sleep in hotel, but this time was very good. Breakfast was delicious with very good quality of food: few types of salami, 2-3 types of cheese, 2 types of fish plus smoked salmon(delicious), 2-3 types of jam, butter, a very good omelette, boiled eggs, yogurts, vegetables, fruits, 2 types of juices; a special mention for bread variety and quality. Coffee and teas are available at any hour in day and night on coffee machineries in the restaurant with very good quality of coffee. For dinner is available: only one main course with meat per each evening (chicken, meat balls, salmon), 2-3 types of salads, 2-3 types of dishes without meat. The food quality is very good even the variety is limited. In the dinner you receive only water. I want to thank you to a receptionist (Dana) that was very helpful and give us all the details about the hotel but also the main objectives of the city. All the details help us a lot.

When you leave the room even the door normally close automatically here was some moments when the doors didn't close. So it is important when leave the room to check the door if is closed.

Lovely building in a peaceful neighbourhood, easy to get to by tram, although I wish I had stayed somewhere more central on a short trip. The communal areas are attractive and the terrace is nice, the room itself was nothing special but did the trick. Breakfast was fabulous! A great spread, lots of options, including Norwegian cheeses, meats, smoked fish, berries, pancakes, delicious breads etc. Being able to have tea and coffee and cake in the afternoon was a welcome touch. Overall, decent value for money.

Dinner being included was a bonus as eating out can be expensive in Oslo, however it was often quite an odd selection of foods, and not great for vegetarians (one night there were three meat dishes, and for vegetarians only salad and boiled rice/carrots; another night there was five salads but all of them were tomato!) Would have much preferred just the breakfast buffet again, really. Also the hotel's location was not very close to most of the areas a visitor would be spending time in, so coming back for dinner wasn't that convenient, even if it is well-connected by trams.

Location of hotel was vey nice and peaceful with quick easy tram link to the city centre, the hotel was extremely clean and very stylish and had a boutique feel to it, the breakfast and dinner was of excellent quality and choice thoroughly enjoyed it all and you could have as much as you liked. All the staff were very warm, kind friendly and helpful. The room although a little dated was comfortable and clean as was the bed.

The weather was extremely hot and therefore the room was really warm and although a fan was provided which did help with cooling the room a little bit the room could do with some proper air conditioning.

The complimentary breakfast was great. The complementary evening meal was simple, but tasty and filling. The hotel consisted of two charming older buildings, joined by a modern building. My room was "Over the river and through the woods...," that is, a long walk to the furthest part of the hotel, but I thought that was perfectly fine. The room had a nice bed, compact and modern bathroom, a private balcony, and another window that opened for cross ventilation. Location was super-close to the ferry I arrived on, and convenient to public transit.

TV selections were a bit boring; it would have been nice to have been able to "cast" streaming video from my Android phone. It was humid, so air conditioning would have been nice, but I get that it's not very practical in Scandinavia.

Breakfast and dinner are included in the stay, which was really nice. They also have a well-equipped gym and a sauna in the basement, which was surprising. There is parking available with charging. Rooms are nice and spacious.

There is no AC in the rooms. Parking is limited and is very tight, especially the entrance. The food in the hotel restaurant is fairly bland. The hotel is in a very nice neighborhood, but is at least 10 minutes walk away from shops and restaurants.

Breakfast and evening meal excellent. Best food we had on our 10 day trip. Chef was obviously extremely food conscious and made a massive effort with both breakfast and evening meal. Tea / coffee available all day which was a bonus. Reception and outdoor beautifully decorated and was very impressed.

Room was very tired and old. Really needs redecorating as it did not live up to the rest of the hotel areas which were amazing. Scaffold and workmen outside our bedroom window so it was noisy.

The location was leafy and quiet but walking distance from the City and Bygdoy beaches. The room was comfortable and had all expected facilities. The staff were wonderful, charming, helpful and informative. There were some really nice touches like the Fika at 3pm and free coffee. Breakfast and dinner were really nice. It was a lovely stay in a hotel that had a really nice family feel to it, you felt welcomed and at home.

We all really enjoyed our stay so not much to complain about.

The hotel is located in a good area with easy access to the main train station. The royal palace and the attendant city center are within walking distance for anyone in good condition, as is the famous Vigelandpark. Breakfast was fine and we very pleasantly surprised with the 'simple meal' during the evenings; the latter was much better than expected. The staff is friendly and helpful. All in all a proper place to stay at a good price.

The moderate room we got was okay, but a lot more basic than the pictures of the moderate rooms shown here on this website.

The room was clean, big, comfortable. It was quite silent there. Breakfast was very good. The dinner was not as good as breakfast though, mainly due to smaller number of meals to choose from.

When checking out we were asked to pay 1700NOK, despite the fact that we paid for the whole stay in advance and we didn't use any additional services. The situation was kind of clarified, but left very unpleasant feeling.

Breakfast and dinner were wonderful with lovely selections, including vegan and vegetarian options. Staff was very helpful and friendly. They stored our luggage between noon check out time and 3 pm. We mostly walked to go between the hotel and other city destinations. It's relatively close to the Filipstad stop on the AS Hop On Hop Off stop. We stayed here to access our cruise ship docking at Filipstad .
