We would recommend the hotel without any problems. We were with children, so it might be good to point out that the hotel does not have any additional facilities for children. The room was large, clean, spacious, with a comfortable temperature. The staff was friendly. The breakfast is varied and great. The hotel is only 3 minutes from the tram station, which is great. It was a nice gesture that when checking in, the kids received a voucher for free ice cream - a small but valuable gesture. Also, since we were leaving the hotel early on the last day, we asked them to prepare a breakfast to go - there were no problems, moreover, we received packages that included juices and watermelon, and sandwiches...The only complaint is a slightly worse sofa bed - it's not that you expect anything special from a sofa bed, but it would be good if it wasn't so soft and didn't create such a hole in the middle. All in all, a really nice experience.

Great breakfast; lots of options. No kettle in room/no coffee maker, which is okay, but I wish they would at least have something available for guests in the waiting area who may need hot water.

Beds were not firm. Room very small. Front desk staff was not happy when I asked questions about check out process, water in the room, etc. He was talking to his coworker and leered at me for asking him too many questions and interrupting his conversation. Not a pleasant greeting at all. One person during breakfast approached us and rudely told us to pay for our breakfast if we are taking food out. I am a vegetarian, I barely ate any food, and was considering taking some fruit with me since we were in a hurry. Considering how costly the stay was, and how I barely ate any breakfast, this made me feel terrible. They treated me like I was a thief! A simple sign stating don't take any food out of the breakfast would have helped.

The hotel is VERY well located. Fantastic connections to the train that takes you to the airport/buses/trams/etc. The breakfast is fantastic with a lot of options for all kinds of eaters. Last but not least, the staff were very friendly and helpful!

The rooms are alright but could be better (more like a 3 star hotel). The hotel is clearly a bit old with the hallways being very narrow and laid out a bit strange + tiny, tiny elevators. Breakfast also does get very busy after 0800 so unfortunately the best time is 0730 which could be difficult for those who are not early risers.

We liked the comfortable bed and location of the hotel . The breakfast was the best we have ever seen ! 🙂

We didn't like no tea or coffee making facilities in the room . The bar wasn't open very late . There seems to be 2 Hotel Scandic Solli on Google maps ! The other one is called Scandic Solli Oslo and it is near the bus station though we never actually found it it did cause some confusion .

The facility is a little old and needs some renovation. For example, the room we checked in on the first night had missing lock on it's door! The room setting was also weird as you need to pass a door to enter a hallway with two rooms located in it. I had to request a room change on the second day hence. Also, the TV in our room was broken from the day we checked in. Although, I let the hotel crew know, the TV was neither repaired or replaced, so no TV at all for me. The elevators are quite small with very old carpet inside them. In addition, rooms have only one pillow per bed which may not be adequate for all preferences and needs.

Literally everything about this hotel, and the staff, just left me speechless. Way beyond my expectations. I have never been to Oslo before, and as such, my knowledge on virtually everything was minimal. The staff helped me find my way around, and make my stay in the hotel and the city as good and comfy as possible. I am really grateful I chose this hotel for my stay in Oslo. My view on Oslo was majorly boosted by the kind people working here. The breakfast is rich, one can find almost everything they desire. Freshly baked pastries, nicely cooked sausages, eggs and bacon, evenly boiled baby potatoes, fresh fruit, and readily available yogurts of many different varieties and tastes. Congratulations a hundred times! I advise everyone who comes upon this hotel to choose it undoubtedly. Thank you!

the location is good

the room was not pretty basic, with very little space to store things in the bathroom, for instance. quite a spartan style. the breakfast was ok but could be improved. one week after our stay we chose another hotel in Oslo in a similar location for a similar price but the services offered were quite a lot better.

Great location, very helpful staff on receiption who gave us recommendations of where to go in Oslo. We had a hire car and were able to park it in the garage and walk everywhere. The breakfast was amazing everything you could think of and the staff were very friendly and efficient - we really enjoyed our stay here

The location is very good, it’s near the Rat Haus, we can walk from the hotel to visit the city. The breakfast is good and the service in the canteen is very good, the employees are friendly! Hotel also provides free choice for the children of icecream, children are really enjoy it!

reception give us room late after 15:00 , no access laundry room and iron room , be aware from african clean staff after i leave my room going to check out he saw me and leave his work and run to my room to check it His behavior was suspicious
