Great stay at this hotel. Room was very nice. Location was very central. Staff were brilliant. The breakfast was very good. In particular, we were very late arriving on our first night and that was no problem, and they gave us late check out on our last day as our flight was early evening.

Because of the central location it can be a little noisy (especially from the tram). Water pressure in the shower could have been better (though that wouldn’t have worked with the open shower). These are minor quibbles though. Overall the stay was GREAT and we would DEFINITELY consider staying again at the Hotel Continental if we’re back in Oslo in the future.

Hotel Continental was a superb hotel, the staff were amazing and the bedroom was wonderful all our needs were met. The breakfast in the morning was fabulous with a lovely selection of hot food, fruit, and pastries and more. The hotel was close to everything we needed to do and we felt very safe in Oslo, people here are very friendly and are all well educated in speaking english so don't be afraid like myself not being able to speak Norwegian. Well done Hotel Continental for our fabulous vacation, we will return one day to this beautiful country.

Most comfortable beds I've slept in at a hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, especially at breakfast. The continental breakfast was outstanding. Great location, extremely easy to get to from the airport.

I wish the rooms could accommodate families a little better. We were forced to get two rooms, which ended up being cheaper than one that would fit the three of us.

The breakfast was outstanding! All of the staff was friendly and competent. The hotel is beautiful and clean with amazing bathrooms. The only negative is the minibar and food left on top. It is not FREE and there is nothing to indicate that. So if you want a bottle of water beware that it costs $6 USD. At the main door everyone was very friendly,in particular Hubert. Couldn’t have more helpful. The bar area is lovely and a nice stopping place after a long day of sightseeing. Maria was a welcoming and helpful addition to breakfast every morning. Christopher the manager was very helpful and accommodating with a problem.

The breakfast was superb. There were plenty of choices on the menu. The waiters/waitresses are well trained and have good manner. They remembered what I ordered before and asked me again if I wanted the same thing on the next day. We were upgraded to royal suite, which was spacious, well decorated, and clean (We booked Junior Suite with Corner Balcony)

It was a bit hard to communicate with the hotel via booking.com chat as the hotel didn't reply our messages in a timely manner. I needed to call the hotel directly. But other than that, it was a fabulous stay!

Excellent breakfast, location, and helpful staff. Enjoyed seeing the Oslo elite in the lobby and the bar. We absolutely recommend this hotel for the quality of service. The junior suite was excellent.

We hate the European style bedding of a heavy duvet. This is not specific to this hotel. It’s so hot! We like top sheets and and a thin cotton cover. Also the small shower didn’t have a footrest so it’s very difficult to shave legs or wash feet. However they’re a lovely bathtub.

The Continental Hotel is located in the most beautiful area of ​​Oslo, close to the University and the Royal Palace. It is a magnificent place for tourism and business. It is a luxury hotel that takes care of even the smallest detail. It's obviously not a cheap hotel, but it's worth its price. Room 818 is excellent, it has a view of the city and a balcony from where you can appreciate the sway of the noisy crowd of Oslo that even at 3 am is on the streets even with very low temperatures. The Breakfast was nice, they have Continental Breakfast and A la Carte. I really recommend it.

There really is nothing bad to say about the hotel or the staff, everything is of magnificent quality and the service is very personalized.

Our family of four had a wonderful stay! The staff were helpful and attentive; extremely professional. The rooms were pretty with plenty of amenities. The bathroom a great size and the beds were super comfy. The buffet was perfection. The location was super central to everything. They even charged our car while in the garage! We will definitely stay again if we ever return to charming Oslo!

The views weren’t so hot nor was the construction outside while we were there.

All lovely until we were leaving. Requested our car and Luggage to be collected at a specific time as we had A ferry to catch. Reception staff clearly forgot. No Apology made. Just said it was ok. Made a stressful End to a lovely stay. Would have been made so much better if he’d apologised.

A very comfortable and immaculately clean room. Possibly the best hotel breakfast I've ever experienced. The staff were superb - the day of our departure coincided with a Gay Pride parade, the police had closed off the roads giving access to the hotel but the reception/concierge staff cheerfully navigated us around the issue, carrying our bags for 2 city blocks to a waiting taxi.

Nothing I can think of - and I'm normally very critical!
