Quality Inn at Bangor Mall

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful as well. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast woman does a GREAT job keeping everything full and very clean. It is always nice when you deal with someone who really seems to enjoy her job. Places to eat are very close by. I liked all the exercise equipment.

The towels are a little small( and I am a small person. Lodging in the area is rather expensive in general. I am not a fan of the $150 deposit - but will assume it is already off my credit card. There is no designated area to park while checking in, that can be a bit inconvenient if there are no open spots nearby.

The gentleman that checked me in was friendly and helpful. He knew I was staying by myself after the big concert in town so gave me the choice of room location. He put me on the far end away from high traffic areas for some peace and quiet. The room was spacious, room temp was perfect when I walked in. Bathroom itself was small and the fixtures all over were moderately outdated. Everything seemed clean though. Location-wise, it was right off the highway with lots of stores and food options close by. Also only a 10-ish minute drive to concert venues and downtown.

The facility itself was just a bit outdated. A few of the outlets didn’t work.

We loved the location, close to everything... Target, Walmart, Burlington, Dunkin', and Olive Garden! The staff were so nice, the first desk person we met printed us directions to stores she thought we'd like, because we weren't from the US and couldn't use the map on our phones. The room was really clean with a fridge, microwave and a nice shower. Breakfast was good, there was something for everyone.

I love the staff. They can't do enough to help. They had warm drinks and cupcakes to celebrate fall. They were very accommodating when I asked for a quiet room. The beds are very comfortable. The sheets and pillows are soft. Good TV channels. Great breakfast. We were worried it might be less than we are used to because of Covid, but they had everything you could ask for considering they had to rejig everything so keep everyone safe. Location is excellent. Our favorite place to stay in Bangor, Maine. I highly recommend it. And we participate in Choice Hotel Rewards which we have actually earned free stays a time or two and some gift cards. Other hotel programs we never get to use the points because they expire before we get to use them. So, another reason to stay at Choice Hotels:)

The bathroom fixtures are getting a bit old and the exhaust fan is extremely noisy in the bathroom (which didn't bother us, but it might bother other guests if they can hear it). But all the pluses make up for it and we will continue to stay here regardless.

The breakfast was excellent. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful in terms of guiding us through breakfast items. They also gave us tips as to good shopping locations. We liked that we could walk to nearby restaurants and that the hotel was so central to major shopping centers and stores. Our bed was very comfortable and it was nice to have a fridge and microwave. Very clean and the towels were nice and fluffy.

We have absolutely no complaints about our stay.

We worried about the bed because it was hard, but it was actually really comfortable and we both had a great sleep both nights.

The toilet was so low, I’ve never seen such a low toilet. It was very hard to get off of it and we had to help each off. I actually pulled a muscle in my groin trying to get off of the toilet by myself.

Staff were very friendly, and building was clean and well looked after. The location was fantastic, just a short walk away from shopping and restaurants. The included breakfast had a wide variety of options and the attendant was very helpful.

The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that the bed was a little too hard for my taste. However, this was such a minor issue that it didn’t affect my opinion of the hotel.

Breakfast was good and Chris was very nice and helpful. She was genuinely friendly and enjoyable to talk to!

The elevator was too slow. And so we took the stairs to the 2nd floor. The stairs have an overhanging lip and I tripped going up the stairs and hit the wall and fell on my knees. I would recommend to do something with them so that someone doesn't hurt themselves more seriously than a couple of bruises.

I enjoyed the stay, all things considered. I usually stay at Hilton brands but they were all booked up. For the price, I thought the hotel was wonderful. The reception clerk was very welcoming despite my night time arrival, which was great since I had just finished a long drive in. Hotel is next to Applebee’s which is open late for dinner and drinks.

I didn’t care for the breakfast, which was a product of the COVID restrictions all hotels are dealing with. I thought I was getting a grab and go breakfast, so I checked out, grabbed the bag, and realized after I left I needed to microwave the sandwich. My fault, but it was a frustration I had to deal with.

i like how its close to everything shopping wise

at chek in the receptionist wasn’t very nice i tought i was interagated by a police officer very blunt and dry then she put us in a room with 1 wieen bed we were 2 and asked for 2 beds then saw another staff wich wasn’t a receptionist she was awsome and helped us get the right room etc
