Fantastic & friendly staff! Warm cookies at check-in… and check-out! The hotel location was convenient. The pleasant restaurant staff served amazing breakfast (our room fee included breakfast). The restaurant had a great Happy Hour which was hopping every night. The beds were very comfortable.

Although the WiFi was fast/efficient, the hotel room lacked USB outlets that we have come to expect in high-end hotel chains. And no Gideon bible to be found anywhere in the room?!

Doubletree By Hilton Front Royal Blue Ridge Shadows location is excellent. It is close to the shopping center with a beautiful view. For a golf lover, you will definitely enjoy this place. The indoor pool and hot tub are a plus. The breakfast is served in a restaurant next to it with a delicious menu selection. Bonus, yummy chocolate cookies are offered upon arrival!

The automatic entrance door is noisy! Please fix it! Someone could have PTSD because of it.

The front desk staff when we arrived at 11:30PM was very helpful and kind.

There was no way to contact the hotel of our late arrival. No one picking up from the front desk. I called more than 20 times throughout the day and never got through to a person. Just voice mail. Even the person for booking (separate department) a reservation couldn't get in touch with the front desk. The glasses were never cleaned. It was placed next to the coffee maker stained with either juice or wine residue.

The staff was very accommodating. Our AC was not working. We reported it and it was fixed immediately. Secondly, we were staying therre because our son had major surgery. We asked about getting a cot for him in our room when he was released and they were more than happy to help us.

The pillows were too soft. Need a firmer option.

The room was great and the beds very comfortable. Nice bathroom, too! I like the restaurant on site!

I requested my bathroom be cleaned and they forgot. Out of toilet paper! Also the phone to the front desk didn't work. I had to go to the front desk to tell them about these two things when I got back for the second nights stay.

Houlihans was just fine for breakfast. They were understaffed but the staff that was there really hustled and served promptly and courteously. Very nicely done.

The bed in the room seemed a bit "worn out" and sunken at the near side (where most would sleep, closest to the nightstand). That mattress needs to be flipped/replaced. Suite 421.

Location was great as we were visiting Shenandoah National Park. Staff was friendly. Room had a great view. Restaurant food and service was great. Overall very nice stay.

Room service was unavailable at the time. Not sure if they normally offer room service or if was because restaurant was under construction. We were able to order and go pick it up. Food and service were great.

The room was large and clean. We had a nice view of the golf course. It was close to downtown Front Royal and lots of places to eat.

There was a dumpster out back full of junk that was part of our view from once side of the room. You could hear noise outside, the greens being cut before the sun came up. I also heard music coming from outside and people stomping around in the room above us. The breakfast at Houlihan's that came with our our room package was not great. It was a buffet with eggs, bacon, hash browns, sausage, muffins, bagels, but food wasn't that great. I think the room price is a little much for this stay.

Room was spacious and checking in/out was super easy. Food at Houlihan's restaurant was good, and service was wonderful.

We had to go back to the front desk to request our breakfast vouchers (which we only found out by speaking to other guests at the hotel) -otherwise we would've had to pay for our breakfast separately. Also the pool/jacuzzi is not open between 10pm-7am.

Comfortable room, good breakfast, nice to have access to hot tub and pool.

Bit far from Front Royal and the Appalachian Trail/Shenandoah if you wanted to walk anywhere directly from the hotel.
