Clean; comfortable; great location for getting to Heathrow on an early flight. I would have rated this property a 10 if their airport shuttle was cheaper and more efficient. We did not have time to try the breakfast, but it did look good.

The receptionist tried to persuade us to take their airport shuttle which would have taken 20 minutes to get to the airport and cost more than an Uber (for two people) which got us to the airport in 5 minutes. The receptionist also told us that the Uber driver would charge an extra £5 for dropping us at the airport (hidden cost). Not true; one pays for Uber upfront on the app when you order it. There was no hidden cost and we were dropped off at the drop off point at T2 where we needed to be.

Room was comfortable and quiet. Despite being across from airport terminals it’s not disruptive or noisy. Location was close to airport, which is a big plus. Some of the front desk staff are really nice, friendly and helpful.

Hotel restaurant service was not great and food was not that good either. Staff was not attentive. Prices weren’t great. Went to the pub down the street and got better food at better price. Some front desk staff were fantastic, others were not so great, even a bit rude. Line for front desk can be long at times so if you are already checked in and just want to purchase a drink or something from the store, you have to wait in the same line as people checking in.

When I booked, booking.com stated there was a shuttle bus. When I arrived at the hotel, i was told by the duty staff that this was not operating and that I would need to get a local bus (45 mins journey) or a taxi for £17. I had to get a taxi, as my flight was very early. I was charged £18 in the end, for a 1 mile journey that took less than 5 mins. This seems a complete rip off, but obviously there is captive market. My only complaint/suggestion is that the hotel should make sure its details are up to date on third-party websites, and that they might want to consider reintroducing a shuttle.

Great value for money. Excellent if you are travelling out of Heathrow and need an airport hotel. Taxi was $17 pounds. The A/C was marginal for the heat wave. Breakfast buffet was excellent and a great value . For convenience to catch a flight I would stay again. It is not in any kind of neighborhood although I did see one nice looking restaurant that looked good as we drove away

Got mysterious phishing emails from them via booking.com messaging system, asking for payment info. Luckily I didn’t click through, instead I called to find out what they wanted. When I flagged this the hotel via phone they confirmed they hadn’t sent the message yet no explanation or apology for how the attacker got my booking details. Also the airport shuttle doesn’t run later at night or early in the morning so your paying the fix price taxi fee for a 5min drive

This hotel is very convenient to Heathrow airport.....just 5 minutes by taxi. It's also very convenient by public bus from the Bus Centre at the airport or into the city. The bus stop is just a 1-minute walk from the hotel entrance. We stayed here before an early-morning flight to the US and then stayed 3 more nights when our flights were repeatedly cancelled. The hotel was very accommodating and helpful. The rooms are large, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The breakfast is quite good and the restaurant/bar was a relaxing place to sit and unwind at the end of the day. We will definitely stay at the Leonardo Heathrow next time we're in London.

The lines at the front counter were sometimes long and sometimes there were only 1 or 2 staff trying their best to accommodate all the needs. But the wait time was a bit long at times.

The hotel is quite close to the rental car return location for Terminal 5. My husband drove the car to the Hertz return and just walked back to the hotel. Restaurant had decent food and for location it wasn't overpriced. I liked the fact they gave you a print out of your different options with costs on getting to LHR in the morning. We took the city bus, which was the cheaper option and the bus stop was not far from the hotel. Taking the city bus took half the time to get to Terminal 5 versus the more expensive airport shuttle bus.

The room was very satisfactory except for their bed pillows. Hard as rocks.

Good size room, clean, good facilities, comfortable bed, free internet (that actually works!), good choice for breakfast, nice bar/restaurant area. Location is ideal for the car hire companies which are within walking distance Next to bus stop so recommend getting the normal bus instead of the Hotel Hoppa as half the price.

Spam emails - after every genuine email there followed a spam one from Booking.com. Repeated emails - I was also getting the same email about 'arriving late so no problem' for several days after I had left Advertising emails - why do Booking.com send me 'ideas of what to do in the local area?' It's an airport hotel so why would I want to go on a pub crawl in Camden for instance? (which is nowhere near this hotel) Buses - There needs to be better information about the buses to the hotel on the information section. I made this comment before the last time I stayed at this hotel and nothing changed. Bar - a better selection of beers would be good

I was travelling alone and was staying one night, the hotel was only a short distance from the airport, the staff were pleasant and helpful and I was directed to my room which was on the first floor. The room was very good with an en-suite, I could only book a triple bedded room so there were sufficient beds to swap if I’d’ve wanted. Breakfast was very good, fruits, yoghurts, porridge, cereals, toast, pastries and full English with coffee, tea and juices. Booking out could be done either online or in person if you had a bill to pay or if there wasn’t anything extra to settle just drop the key card off in a box in the foyer.

The price could’ve been a bit lower but the hotel’s proximity to the airport made up for it.

The room was clean, quietly located outside the airport and the bed was super comfortable! The reception team at the hotel were absolutely amazing from the time we arrived to departure. They were polite, friendly and incredibly accommodating. I would like to commend them highly for their professionalism, care and concern for our stay.

After travelling for hours from Toronto to Heathrow, we were super tired, and we found the shuttle service took forever to pick us up having arrived at 6:00am London time. We had to walk, what seemed like an eternity from one end of the airport to the other with our heavy bags, then outside to the 'shuttle area'. It was packed early morning and we waited at least 30 minutes before the shuttle arrived, and then it seemed like eternity to get to our hotel, because it had to make some 'drop offs' en route. But on the other hand, we are grateful for the shuttle service!
