Milling Hotel Plaza

The place is beautiful and old-timey. The bed is very soft. The room gives out a very creative vibe. Very pleasant stuff. Good breakfast. Wooden key cards. 500 meters from the city center. A balcony. Beautiful hall. Access to coffee and snacks during the day. The elevator is a highlight of its own :)

The hotel is across from the train station. Very noisy with windows opened. Rooms are carpeted, and you can smell that somebody was smoking there before. It's faint, but it is unfortunately there. Corny jokes with sexual subtext about being mindful of water and electricity consumption around the room are hit or miss. (More miss)

the hotel is situated at 5 minutes from the train station. if you ask for quiet rooms you can have a room which is situated inside the court and then it is really quiet inside. the hotel rooms and water were hot. the breakfast was ok.

I have asked for a double bed but I have received a room with two single twin beds which where close to each other but very uncomfortable. the shower was a traditional Danish one with the same floor as the toilet making it hard for ladies to reach the bathroom sink after using the shower.

Beautiful place and surrounding, right next to the train station. The beds were comfortable and we had a spacious room, good enough for a king or a queen. The restaurant is beautiful and you can get free hot drinks 24/7. We are definitely coming back.

The breakfast was nice but it would have been even nicer to see some greener options such as more vegan and dairy free options. They had oats milk which was greatbut no dairy free spread for the bread. In all fairnes I didn't tell them that I don't eat dairy but all hotels I've been to has at least had dairy free spread and some more choices.

The room and bathroom were nice and clean. The staff were really kind and helpful as they provided us with a conference room for a meeting and had our room ready early, so that was great. Odense is nice in the city centre although there aren't that many restaurants, and it's only about 5 mins walk to the nice parts of town from the hotel.

Although the dining area was very nice, the breakfast was nothing special and some of the food was good, like the pastries, but some wasn't, like the scrambled eggs or the crêpes which were cold and a little flavourless.

Beautiful hotel😍. Rooms comfy and spotlessly clean. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Always greeted with a smile and nothing too much trouble to accommodate us. Loved the buffet breakfast and afternoon tea /coffee with cake and treats. Coffee/tea, juices avaliable at anytime day or night from the diningroom. Easygoing and relaxed atmosphere at hotel. Ideally located near all the local bars, restaurants and shops.Would highly recommend and will visit again in the future.😊

Absolutely nothing to dislike about this hotel

They have a "free for you" time between 15.00 and 17.00 where they provide free cakes, pop corn, ice cream etc. in the hotel lobby. That was a very nice touch. You can also make yourself coffee, tee, hot chocolate 24h per day. The breakfast was rich, they also offered pancakes! Excellent location near the train station. Very friendly staff. Spacious rooms.

The rooms are a bit outdated, it's an old hotel. No ventilation in the bathroom.

It was lovely to arrive and be offered complimentary cake/popcorn/pretzel and hot drinks. Really well situated just opposite the train station and walkable to all the attractions. Breakfast offered a really good selection of options. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very spacious for a family room and the bed was increadibly comfortable.

There was nothing to complain about - we liked everything!

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed the breakfast, which featured a variety of different items. The afternoon coffee and fruit was also a pleasant treat. We could also leave our luggage at the hotel before check in and after check out while we explored Odense.

We only spent a night's stay, and everything was too our liking.

Firstly, we couldn't find the hotel because the previous name is still outside the hotel, which caused us to drive right past. This should be corrected. The check-in was easy. Nice that coffee & tea, as well as cake could be had in the dining room 24/7 and was free of charge. The room was fine, but, no fridge or airconditioning, which we expect from a 4* hotel. The room was comfortable though, if a bit dated in decor. The bathroom was renovated and large. We personally don't like shower curtains though. The breakfast was actually very good and included smoked salmon, which is also a nice touch. There were also delicous mini Danish pasties, which we enjoyed with our coffee. All in all a good selection for breakfast. Also very nice, was that there is limited on site parking, and free of charge. That was a definite plus factor. The hotel is well situated for the Pedestrian mall. We did not get to see as much as we hoped, due to rain and time constraints. There was some noise from outside, but not too bad. The couple upstairs were noisier at 3am. Walls appear thin. Otherwise, the hotel was super for a quick stopover. We would not have enjoyed a stay longer than a night or two, for the reasons stated.

As mentioned, the Hotel needs to display its proper name and not the old name. A bar fridge would be nice. Plastic shower curtains are not nice.

Close to train station and shopping. Comfortable beds and great breakfast. I left my charger for my Kindle home and the reception desk lent me one for our stay. Would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is advertised as the Odense Milling Plaza, but the sign says Odense Plaza. I was not sure that it was the hotel we booked. The hotel reception confirmed the name.
