We fell in love with B&B Alokke. It is an old farmhouse with beautiful alley, gently reconstructed and furnished in delicate but elegant style, fully equipped with everything you may need. The location is perfect for those looking for quiet and peaceful place in the nature. And the host is so nice and helpful, the only thing we regret is that we were limited in time (3nights). As soon as we left we immediately missed the place, the atmosphere and the people of B&B Alokke. We definitely recommend this accommodation and will do our best to come back as soon as possible.

Absolutely nothing.

Our stay was filled with warm memories from the first moment that we approached the long driveway that leads to the property, passing horses and open fields. We were greeted enthusiastically and given a thorough tour by the owner and manager; the shared kitchen was spotlessly clean and our room was cozy and tidy. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything necessary to prepare simple meals. We also opted for the included breakfast, which was self-serve but quite nice. The best part about the property was the history; we appreciated the cobblestone courtyard and old barns that were converted into what you see today. No complaints whatsoever.

It was quiet, very clean and comfortable. Towels were much larger and nicer than typical in hotels and there were even bath robes. Everything was very clean and beds were firm and comfortable. Beyond these basics, going to bed under a sky full of stars then waking up to a nice farm atmosphere with majestic trees, the scenic green fields surrounding the facility, and beautiful horses calmly enjoying their breakfast turned our stay into an amazing experience. On top of all, the host was so kind and helpful. Our only regret is that our stay was too short.

The property is very charming and cozy. The host lady was super sweet and nice. Beds were clean and room was clean as well. They had a cute kitten who loved following us outside but she was not allowed inside so my husband with allergies did just fine with it. Kids liked the swing that was hung off the tree. The place was very charming and quiet and surged its purpose if you’re looking for country experience. We enjoyed it!

The location is absolutely fantastic, waking up in the silence of the nature with the birds singing and the breeze. Also, there is that special touch of love in the details, also candles available for the guests for an even more romantic atmosphere. And last but not least everything was super clean, which is important to me

Maybe the restroom to share with other rooms, but it was so clean and cozy that, in the end, it was absolutely fine :)

We had a wonderful stay and it far exceeded our expectations. The owner was so welcoming and nice!!! She gave us a great idea of where to go for dinner and what to do in the evening.

Very lovely and cozy place with a real country-life feeling. Our dauther loved the cats who were walking round in the courtyard. We enjoyed our staying and definetely will recommend it.

The bypass to Alokke was a bit of complicated (we got lost despite of the Waze), but this is a temporary problem.

Very cosy and nicely decorated with a very comfortable bed. Very practical kitchen but bring your own spices. There is only salt and pepper.

The breakfast selection was very basic. A bit of fruit or vegetables would have been nice. The highway is pretty close to the premises and we could hear the cars passing by, when we were outdoors on the side towards the highway. Though indoors, with closed windows, it was very calm.

Extremely friendly hostess. The room was tastefully decorated and very pretty. The beds were comfortable and we had a great night of sleep. Breakfast had to be done by yourself, but there were plenty of options and utensils to use, so that was no problem for us. Overall a very pleasant, if short stay :)

We spent a wonderful weekend at BnB Åløkke. The property is a beautiful, restored farmhouse, very tastefully decorated and with a lot of charm. Our apartment was very spacious, comfortable, the kitchen well equipped. The area is beautiful with amazing views and it is also very quiet so it's perfect for relaxing. Lone is a fantastic host, she made us feel at home right away. We'd recommend this place to anyone and we can't wait to come back.
