We were only a block from all the Waikiki action. The hotel provides prompt customer service through texting. The hotel decor is really fun and fresh.

I chose this hotel for its available parking on site. It turned out to be valet only and it was full the first night so we had to park at the Post Office and walk back. There was no mention of reserving parking prior to my arrival. There is construction across the road so be prepared for some noise.

The hotel's location was perfect for my needs - it was conveniently located near all the places I wanted to visit and had everything needed nearby. But what really stood out to me was the exceptional service provided by the staff. From the moment we checked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and helpful advice about the local area. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable, and I really appreciated their attention to detail. Special thanks to Andre and excellent customer service. The room itself was also lovely - clean, spacious, and well-appointed with all the amenities we needed. Overall, I would highly recommend La Croix to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Honolulu. Thank you to the amazing staff for making out stay so memorable!

One area that could be improved is the hotel's wifi. While it was available throughout the property, I found it to be unreliable and slow at times. This made it difficult to get work done and stay connected with loved ones. I would recommend that the hotel work on improving its wifi service to ensure that guests have a better experience.

i left some alive Leis in the fridge and via text I asked for those to be removed from the fridge and put with our luggage. they agreed but when we arrived for the luggage to go to the airport the leis were not in there :( and we had not time to purchase more!

The staff were amazing! It is an older hotel but has been updated & is undergoing more renovations. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable and had its own air conditioning which we could adjust. The entry is pretty and has an ABC store attached. We loved the pool on the 4th floor.

I wish there had been more hooks for hanging wet towels, bathing suits, etc. The shower had cool doors but they were half doors & water leaked all over the floor when showering. The location was ok but it wasn’t easy walking to the beach if you wanted to take stuff. It would be nice if they had beach gear available & beach towels were not available as advertised. Valet parking was almost $42 per day. I know it’s Hawaii & things are expensive but ugh, we stayed 11 days so it really added up.

More hotel events! We missed the one going on not knowing they weren't that often.

The staff at Hotel La Croix made it the most special. Everyone from the check in staff, to the bar tenders near the pool, to maintenance to cleaning staff were friendly, accommodating and just wonderful people. We had a Ocean View Room with distant water views which had two balconies and was pretty roomy for a family of 4. I loved the larger bar fridge and ABC store downstairs was very handy. Access to the club upstairs associated with this room was fab!

The lifts were being serviced when we were there, so that took some time to get up and down near check in and check out times. But I suspect that will be fixed soon. On the lower floors the traffic on Kalakaua Ave would have been quite noisy. We were on floor 11 and it wasn't too bad. The pool is quite small, but I liked it as it isn't as busy as other hotels (we stayed at the Sheraton Waikiki for a few nights and the pool was crazy busy and not at all relaxing).

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. VIP room on the terrace level and the VIP happy hour was a pleasant surprise.

There was not enough lights in the room and on the balcony. People were using the stairs and waiting at the door to sneak into the VIP room. It was a bit uncomfortable.

The room was spacious and the pool area was very nice.

Seemed like the walls and windows were made of tissue paper! Sooooo much road noise! Also quite a long walk to beach.

There's a trolley line right outside which is super handy to get around. The ABC store connected is really convenient too. I could get snacks, drinks, and last minute souvenirs. There's self service laundry on site, too which was great. TV had great channels. The bathroom amenities were good quality. I like the incentive to share a post on social media for a drink discount.

The doors to the rooms are very creaky, I could hear doors opening and closing all the time. I don't think there's much sound proofing. The door wasn't flush to the ground so I could see the hallway lights under my door. The room service qr code wasn't working so I couldn't order room service easily. I couldn't see stairs as I would have preferred to use those than the elevators because I was on a lower floor.

Room was clean and with a very nice view, especially at night. Position is really good, the hotel is just 10/15 minutes walk to Waikiki beaches and the walk is really nice among shops and restaurants. The hotel also provide beach towels service and snorkeling gear for free (masks not included due to Covid at the moment). The pool at the fourth floor is small but very cute with a nice view. All staff was very nice, kind and helpful with anything we needed. We had a very pleasant stay!

When I booked the hotel I chose it because breakfast was included, unfortunately because of Covid and safety measures, breakfast was suspended and they only told once I already booked. But they provided hot water with tea bags and coffee right in front the elevators. Not the same as a real breakfast but I appreciated the effort.
