Hilton Grand Vacation Club The Grand Islander Waikiki Honolulu

Great facilities in the resort for all ages as well as beautiful pool/spa and gym in the hotel itself. Plenty of restaurants catering for wide variety of tastes as well as budget. Teenage girls had a some much fun but we felt they were safe at all times. The kitchen and laundry in our suite made it even better as we did not have run around looking for laundry mats. Most of the buses and trams stoped outside the hotel which made it easy to get around without a car.

Nothing as we had no complaints whilst staying.

The location and the resort were absolutely amazing. On Friday nights they put on fireworks and the atmosphere is out of this world. Our tower at the resort was stunning, it must have been the newest one. If I ever visit Honolulu again, I would come back to this resort in a heartbeat.

The beds were not super comfortable.

I am a Hilton Honors member. Asked for upgrade. Politely asked for one. Was told not available, but when what we booked was not exactly available did get an upgrade. Don't get me wrong, very pleased with the partial ocean view and the unit and appreciative. Just a bit uncomfortable asked and it was not forthcoming when it apparently was available. Not what membership says were supposed to get. Will tell you had great service in Tropics by most staff. Ate there several times due to service. Disappointed hot tub did not work in towers. I

Unit baths and floor could have been a bit cleaner.

The property is massive, but has great amenities. It is great for families because it has the lagoon, tons of convenient restaurants and abc stores, and is in an excellent location. The grand islander also has really big units, great customer service and cleaning service.

Too many tourists and the time it took to check in. Also was unclear where to check in. Wasted an hour at the main lobby which would have been nice to have clearer directions where to check in.

Proximity to areas of interest in the island. Clean, top notch service by lobby personnel. Shout out for Shizu, Emy and Ayako who did a wonderful experience at check in and out

There are differences between rooms. I guess I liked more the room in floor 11 than that of floor 32.

Room was better appointed in floor level 11 than that one of level 32.

It had everything you need to stay for a week, mainly in-unit washer and dryer.

The only complaint I have is that the parking is quite pricey.

The property is very nice and a great size.

I feel like there aren’t very many places to choose from to eat and a lot of the shops aren’t stores I’m interested in shopping at. I wish there were more sit down restaurants and places to shop. I know due to COVID a lot might have closed.
