property was clean and lovely staff. we did get a very annoying wake up call off an alarm in our room at 5:30am but staff came very quickly to sort it. breakfast buffet was great. bed was comfy and room was spacious.

location was the only issue

Good budget hotel. Rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was reasonable.

For a big brand, the hotel felt tired in places. The air conditioning wasn't working in the room when we arrived. It took a while to convince staff that you don't have to wait 20 mins for the room card to bring the ac on, and there is a fault...it was soon rectified when they listened. The bathroom door could not be shut properly because the wood at the bottom has become swollen due to rott. This became an issue for kids who were concerned about their privacy in this private space. The toilet seat was insecure, and the shampoo pod was also broken.

The bed was comfortable and room was nice and cool with air con switched on. There was very little in the way of noise pollution so all in all a good night's rest and the room was a decent size. The breakfast was decent and plentiful and the staff were also pleasant,the DLR was a 5 minute walk from the hotel making it very easy to get around London. The hotel was good value for money and would definitely stay again.

The voila curtain net had dirty food stains on likely from a previous guests fingers when opening them so not very good first impressions.Our room was an accessible room and the shower was basically a wet room set up but when using it the water did not drain away and absolutely soaked the bathroom floor. Suggest fitting towel holders to the back of the bathroom doors as there is nowhere to hang them after use.

From check in to check out everything was perfect, staff were informative and helpful, rooms were clean and comfortable. Parking was private and good priced. Location was beautiful just a few minutes walk to the dlr and right opposite city airport.

I am allergic to feathered duvets and pillows… unfortunately housekeeping must have gone home by the time we enquired at reception for a hypoallergenic set because they looked twice and said they don’t have any. With a feather allergy being quite common I was surprised they didn’t have anything different. I ended up sleeping in just sheets with no pillows.

The variety and options for breakfast were fantastic. The staff are very efficient in replacing any breakfast items so that all options are always available or cleaning the tables ready for more guests. Breakfast being served between 6 - 10am allows for a relaxing atmosphere with plenty of seating available for the staying guests. The room was lovely, clean and the shower felt luxurious. The hotel itself is located very close to Prince Regent DLR which is ideal when travelling solo or as a tourist. Definitely felt like value for money.

The hotel is alongside another chain, which is easier to spot than the Hampton. A look at Google Maps, for example, is recommended. Once you know where your bearings, however, it is an easy to remember route between DLR station and hotel. As great as the breakfast options are, it can be quite difficult to negotiate your way around during busier breakfast times as guests seem to come from all directions.

Loved the room layout, very comfortable bed and chair, good hairdryer, shower excellent and good to find shampoo, conditioner and body lotion in the bathroom. Reception was able to accommodate our location request. Breakfast was very good and included in the price we paid. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast staff were excellent in keeping tables cleared so they could be useful again.

It is a little far out of the city, but if you are going to the O2 or Greenwich it is an excellent location. One of the bedside lights didn't work (loose connection) and I had difficulty in getting any body lotion out of the dispenser in the bathroom, but these were very minor niggles.

The hotel is located on a quiet street alongside many other hotels, making the area feel quite safe. It has a modern design and layout with really nice facilities such as a plentiful breakfast and well-presented rooms. The bathroom was fancy, with a modern toilet and walk-in shower that had a handrail inside, and a mirror that does not steam up. There was also accessible dispensers for shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and hand wash. Considering the hot weather and lack of openable windows, the addition of air con was great and kept us all cool. The room was almost completely soundproof as you could barely hear any of the traffic or planes outside, despite their close proximity. There were plenty of plug sockets and lights, and towels, and I particularly enjoyed the very well-lit bathroom mirror and the blackout curtains in the bedroom. The staff were very friendly and always offered to help with things.

The shower was a little dirty on arrival, as there were blobs of hotel shower gel on the floor, and the sink was set quite far back into the counter which was a little awkward. The two bins given had no bags in them, and the toilet seat was wonky but not loose. The sofa bed's mattress was a little hard and lumpy, and only had one pillow, and the bathroom got very steamed up when showering. Also, the toilet paper was very thin and see-through considering this is a branded hotel.

Very good location - looks far away on a map, but there is a great DLR connection to Tower Hill, and to transfers to other Tube lines Very tasty breakfast Cosy rooms The hotel restaurant is very good - tasty food and good value for money Usb plugs built in into the power outlets, so you don't need to worry about a converter Nice and helpful staff

Just minor stuff - for example, the hairdryer was old (at least by the looks and sound of it) and very loud. But as mentioned, this is a small detail, I can really recommend this hotel.

Efficient and friendly reception. Very clean room with extremely comfortable bed, pillows and just the right duvet weight. Unobtrusive adjustable air conditioning kept the room at cool temperature ideal for sleeping. Very good breakfast, again with efficient and friendly staff. Easy reach from Central London via tube / DLR. Would stay there again.

Little bit hard to find the building / entrance, due to unrelated construction work / path diversion. Could do with some extra temporary signage when approaching from Prince Regent DLR station. Not a major issue however.

Everything was really good. Stay was very nice. Got very nice views of the river. The size of the room was nice. Breakfast was good with lots of different choices. Reception staff are very friendly and accommodating. London City Airport is just across the river on other side of hotel so you can hear the planes, but I really enjoyed this view and the planes landing. Hotel is a short walk from DLR station.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t dislike, everything was good. The plane noise may be a nuisance for some but was really nice seeing the plans land.
