The touches in the room, all the Rixwell Savoy personal little things like the pocket where they keep their business card and post card - that was such a surprising solution. And how they fold the bathrobes.. We also loved the bar downstairs. Your bartender Indrek is very nice and knowledgeable.

The only thing that kind of bothered me were the pillows. When you put your head on it, it kind of seems like it has too much air in it, it doesn't let your head fall into it.. don't know how to describe it 😄

Great location right at the entrance to the old town, lovely views outside, cozy rooms in the former attic, well-equipped and quite comfortable, nice breakfast and of course a super-friendly and helpful staff

These are not necessarily dislikes but: a shower cabin could have been a bit wider (or a soap holder could have been smaller); some sockets in the room were not working; and finally it is quite hard to get one’s baggage to the elevator as there are stair without a ramp (however, hotel a staff is always there to help carrying your heavy bags)

The best hotel in old town. Located in the old town where you can enjoy seeing the historical buildings and shops (the shops are expensive)but you can take a look ,very close to the square(tallinn town hall) 3 min by walking . Near to the shopping centers (veru keskus) mall -3 min / Postimaja Shopping Centre 5 min by walking (very affordable prices) / wool open market -tallin wool market -great prices and real handmade wool / close to all bus stations and tram (many bus stations with different directions )/ near to solaris mall ( small nice mall with fabulous big cafeteria including tasty dishes and cheap prices ) . Rooms were big and clean . Staff are very sweet and helpful. Quiet and very comfortable . Bathrooms are very clean and big /Breakfast was great with different options and dishes / you can have lunch sometimes in the restaurant with extra money if you want but also cheap when they have discount ( 7 euro per meal ) very yummy for this you need to ask the reception .

Clean room, very comfortable bed and linen, air conditioning, a stone-throw distance to the Town Hall Square. We really liked the welcome fruit plate and chocolate in the room. There are perks like toothbrushes and a haircomb in the bathroom, slippers and bathrobes, and even bath salt sachets. Breakfast was plentiful, with scramble, bacon, steamed veggies, pancakes, "caviar" and bubbles :)

Unfortunately, this is not a 5-star hotel: the furniture is "classic", yet quite outdated. One of the sockets was just a bunch of cords hanging from the wall (quite dangerous), the cheap kettle was not working with the two nearest sockets, so we had to improvise and look around the room for the fitting one. The capsule machine (similar to Nespresso) was not working perfectly either. The bath itself is very high (we are not the shortest persons, btw), and though it has a small bench to get it, it looked quite dangerous to use still (not suitable for disabled persons for sure). It was unpleasant to find both vanity kit sachets completely empty.

First up, location: the hotel is centrally located adjacent to Old Town, with everything in walking distance. The only walk that is a bit longer and less enjoyable is the one to/from the ferry (if you're transiting Helsinki/Tallinn, as we did). Second, ambience: loved the look and feel of this hotel (yes, the elevator is a smaller model of times gone by, which adds to the charm, but the stairs aren't overwhelming). Third, the service: we're always ingratiated to staff who speak entirely in English to ease the travel pain, but the staff at Savoy Boutique Hotel also had the "above and beyond" attitude that makes any stay incredibly enjoyable. From the front desk to the restaurant, the service was marked by class. In particular, the bar staff including Indraek (sp?) was to be commended for top-notch service. At one point we asked for a simple glass to put flowers in (from the local flower market), and when the bar staff realized the glass was intended for a bouquet, they went out of their way to find one of the hotel's crystal vases in which to place the flowers for our room.

Note, the restaurant can get busy at breakfast time, so it's recommended to arrive early.

AC didn’t work well and it was quite hot in the room.

Location is really nice, right by the the Old Town. Car parking was very close and safe. Waitress, Helen in the bar was exceptional 👏

A charming, welcoming comfortable hotel in an ideal location on the edge of the old town. A lovely feeling to return to our warm relaxing room. Breakfasts were excellent, including champagne and caviar if you wish.

Clean, comfortable, helpful staff and great location, excellent value for money. The mini-bar was kept stocked which is always a bonus.

Can't complain about anything

Location is good. Easy access to old town and everything by foot and when taking taxi (not far about 3-4 km) from bus station from Riga, Latvia. The old town has a restricted car access and the hotel is just in the border. Car can access a bit in front of hotel. Room has a nice view. Room is very clean. The bed is so comfy, good linen and come with a good and comfort topper. Complimentary water is in the lobby and can take up to the room. Breakfast room is a truly 5-star restaurant setting. Breakfast is excellent and delicious, plus enough variety of food choices. There is a complimentary champagne for breakfast which is a nice treat. Service is great, professional and very friendly. Overall, it is a great stay and I never feel impressed like this before. It is truly beyond expectation and the hotel truly completed my vacation. Everything is perfect. I definitely will recommend friends to stay in this hotel. And will definitely come back when visiting Tallinn.
