the food was one of the best I've had in Ethiopia, the room is great, cleaned, and filled with fresh towels and toiletries and the staff is not only nice but hardworking too, this is a very lovely hotel by far the best in Bole, Addis Ababa.

the only thing I didn't like was the consistency of the wifi it would cut off and go back on the air conditioning was very hard to set and we would often come to a room that was warm and not cool but then again it was probably because its summer and Africa.

My stay was great. The staff are wonderful and very accomodating of requests. The location of hotel is great, close to many amenities including restaurants and coffee houses. The rooms are big, clean well furnished providing both a working atmosphere and relaxing downtime. All the concierge, the reception staff and only some restaurant staff are friendly. A special mention to the lady at the egg station, bless her. Gerdla the concierge, reception ladies- Addis, Alem, Yuel...(difficult name), Fikar - were superb. The gym is nice. The double glazing on windows improves the night experience as Bole can be noisy. Bathroom amenities and the Green life consciousness a plus . Will be back.

The breakfast was good but found it less diverse if you are not into Ethiopian dishes. Which are equally delicious but not habitual for me as a breakfast meal. The ribs and foul beans were a hit. A larger variety of continental foods is welcome. The bathroom cleaning is too basic. There's mould Around the taps and shower handles. Regular scrub to the bathroom floor can help improve the appearance. But this does not take away the overall good experience.

A special shoutout goes to the front desk team, room service, and Mr. Fiker at the front desk for his exceptional assistance. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The hotel itself is stunning; the rooms are perfectly furnished, the food is delicious, and the customer service exceeds my expectations. The traditional Ethiopian coffee corner in the reception area is delightful. Additionally, it's conveniently located close to the airport, and a complimentary shuttle service was provided.

Beautiful stay! Hotel Golden Tulip is a perfect place to stay in AddisAbaba.The room was very pleasant, it was cozy and clean. Breakfast was excellent and incredibly varied. The hotel team has always been friendly, patient and helpful. That impressed me the most. No matter what time of day or night, you could turn to them with all your concerns. It was rather an excellent experience. I have been staying in different hotels for the last 10 plus years when I travel from US to visit my parents, by far Golden Tulip is at the top of my list. The staff was very attentive and responsive, the cleanliness of the rooms was a top notch , the amenities starting from their breakfast was amazing, the location is the middle of everything, very close to the airport , cinimas , shopping..etc. I myself have been working in the hotel industry for the last 15 plus years so I know a little bit about the industry. You guys rock, I will definitely stay there again!

The only thing that needs attention is the streets around the hotel, it is very hard to drive on . I am not sure if it is the city that should fix that or the businesses around that area, but it needs an attention.

Breakfast needs were met with the highest standards, chef was accommodating, helpful and very warm and social, really made us feel at home and nothing was too much. Accommodated our special vegan diet very satisfying. Staff in restaurant were always polite and extremely helpful. A real joy to be around. I have to also me tonight reception staff security and doormen all so polite and helpful. A real asset to the hotel

Well maintained, clean, hot water all the time, no cocroaches, helpful staff sometimes a bit slow but that is normal for the country, AND VERY TASTY Food in their restaurant. Also good breakfast

On Saturday and Sunday night it is noisy from the bars near the hotel. Payment with card is an issue. With their 6-7 pos terminals, and my 3 cards - no success.

The location is great, right in the city center but not too far from the airport. Easy access to other restaurants close by. The breakfast was good. The room is a lot bigger than other rooms in Addis Ababa. Comfortable beds with clean linen. The restaurant has a good menu and is open to everyone.

I stayed there June 14 to July 2. I found the hotel to be exceptionally nice. Hotel-staff was super I enjoyed their delicious complimentary breakfast with many local and international varieties to choose from. These days we see hotels reducing services for cost saving but this hotel’s amenities reminded us the good old days,me and my family had a great time.
