Excellent location very close to the airport and with plenty of shops, restaurants and coffee places nearby. Not that you need them, because the hotel bar/coffee shop in the lobby is wonderful! Very friendly and efficient staff, swift WIFI. Our room (702) was large, seemed newly renovated and had big and well laid-out bathroom. Complete bliss after a week of touring Ethiopia's back-waters. There's a large walk-in shower, plenty of free drinking water provieded as well as good toiletteries. The beds were supremely comfortable and we had an excellent night's sleep. The airport shuttle which we had booked for 6am was on time and we were informed by telephone to our room when it was ready. Next time in Addis, we will definitely stay at the Ramada again, which offered us superb value for money. Can't wait to try the restaurant on the 10th floor.

Rather a lot of outside noise and also from the hotel room doors which close with a bang. If you need an early night (or want to sleep in in the morning), bring earplugs!

Friendly staff ALWAYS - the front desk, at breakfast, in the restaurant and in the lobby - everyone was superb. Great breakfast, very attentive.

The gym facilities need work - only one treadmill, one bike, limited floor space. Quite a small gym for such a large hotel! Checking in and checking out - I was told that I did not have early check-in and late check-out even though I did.

1. Breakfast spread is good but most of them are very stale and cold. 2. Coffee is not good, it's a shame given Ethiopia is known for its coffee. 3. I left my hat there in the room, but when enquired later, they said they couldn't find it which seems a bit weird.

I stayed two nights at Ramada. the hotel is in good location with proximity to restaurants, spa, shops, and clubs. The hotel is very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. I also like the security of the access to the rooms.

prior my arrival, the hotel confirmed over a phone that payment can be made in local currency but when I arrived they said that payment should be in USD for foreigners. however, the staff at the reception was nice and sorted out with the finance. I also requested a room with view to the main road prior my arrival and they confirmed availability via message in booking.com but when I arrived they said all twins rooms are not facing the main road. finally they gave us a room in higher floor which was ok for us.

I previously placed a bad review, because while my colleagues said they had enjoyed the hotel, there was a problem with payment. Over the past two weeks, the hotel manager has communicated with me, followed up and resolved the issue. I am greatly appreciative of his efforts and glad the issue is resolved.

Location, it was close to the airport. Staff were very helpful and polite. Room was spacious and clean.

Food left a lot to be desired. The buffet breakfast was very poor. I asked for an omelette that never came. One evening we went to the steak House and the meat was tough and the deserts were stale. Do not eat there.

The wifi is good but can be better. Also, they don't have cable tv in the rooms, especially for late night sports. It's a big deal that one!

the bathroom: the toilet and the place where they put the toilet paper were too tight. I couldn’t seat on the toilet comfortably. Inside the shower, where they put soap etc needed to be fixed.
