Before arrival the hotel were connected with me via chat to make sure everything is okay with my arrival and everything else on spot was discussed, really nice touch. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and hospitable. The check-in was at 12pm.. but the lovely receptionist they decided to give me a room to sleep at until I've got my Suite room. "Thank you very much guys". I've arrived very early morning, and the driver "Teferi" is a great person, was waiting for me outside, for my free shuttle to hotel.. with alot of useful information in hand. Plus, they didn't mind that I decided to have my breakfast on day of arrival, instead of the following day.. I was hungry and the following day i woke up late.. so I am happy I had a very nice and good breakfast.. fresh juice and fresh coffee, with anjera. Don't forget to look up the roof floor.. for fresh air and get your coffee from downstairs. Good place to be.

This hotel.is the pick of a rather poor selection in Addis. Not a reflection on this hotel though. Excellent value for money and clearly popular. We had a very nice and comfortable room with a fridge, which is great. There are a tram of very friendly and helpful staff. It's very well located in Bole, which is a nice area, with some great restaurants nearby. Konark for Indian and Chanoly Smoothie and Noodle and Happiness Restaurant. It's very convenient for the airport. Free transfer to and from the airport.

Our pick up from the airport was very late with poor communication. The buffet breakfast was not kept hot and not great. The fresh cooked omelette was very good though.

Lobelia is a feel like home hotel.. Staff were so nice and friendly.. You will find people like Menyhil how helped me when my father got sick during our stay. All the staff helped but he was the one who took us to the hospital and stayed for translation. And you will meet with Sara on the reception, and her colleagues, they are all together a very good team, always smiling to your face. People on the restaurant, people on the Hotel shuttle service, security people, Abbay 😊. It's all about people.

It's an old hotel, most of the hotel facilities are not new, put compered with the price it's still a good deal, plus I'm a people guy. Thats why I recommend Lobelia as a number one option for people like me.

We got picked up on time by the Hotel's own airport shuttle. We reached early so the staff immediately accomodated us without any extra charges. The driver, the staff were very friendly. Rooms were neat and clean, airy with proper lightning.

The chef does not know about the halal food. When I inquired about the halal items in the dinner menu, I was softly informed about no halal food items. Later, we had to order fish or vegetarian food from the room service menu. The internet is tricky and needs an upgrade. The location of the hotel is very average. The printed bill that I received from the restaurant or the hotel itself was not properly printed. It felt as if I have shopped something from a grocery store. The staff even having the privilege to print on the A4 paper, did not print it.

The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the room was exceptionally well-maintained. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The staff at Hotel Lolibela were very nice. Their warm and welcoming demeanor made me feel right at home. They were always ready to assist with a smile, enhancing the overall experience. The room service was top-notch, offering a delectable variety of dishes delivered promptly to my door. A delightful experience from start to finish!

Clean, well kept, friendly and efficient staff. Good with water boiler and fridge in the room. 5 minuter from the airport, still in a silent Environment, with nearby restaurants, shops and 10 min walk to a major Mall. When the frequent power outages occur, the in house generator takes over.

One area of improvment is booking of pick-up at the airport, thus when landing, waiting at imnigration or luggage belt fellow travelers are advised to confirm pickup by calling Lobelia reception.

Good value for the price! Lobelia is close to the airport, providing free shuttle service from and to the airport, which is great. They are very responsible, nice, providing great service for everything, we stayed there in different times during our trip, they kept luggage for us while we were away, for free. They upgraded us to a deluxe room which was nice. Staff are nice. Occasionally some little stuff wouldn’t work in the room but in general it is a great value for the price and I recommend this hotel a lot.

The staff was uberfriendly and every day I was looking forward to tasting the amazing coffee. The coffee tasted different every day, but was always amazing. I should maybe also mention the closeness to Yod Abessynia and Kategna, which I both highly recommend. And there is a steam bath included in your stay. Open and ava 24/7.

The stiffness of my mattress and the orientation of my room, but that can be fixed.

Absolutely loved the hotel! Extended my stay multiple times. The receptionist, waiters, and room cleaners always had a smile. Regret not remembering their names for a shout-out. Highly recommend!

The Ethiopian traditional food was exceptional, but I'd like to offer constructive feedback on the international cuisine. I believe there's room for improvement, and I share this respectfully, hoping the management considers it for enhancement. Thank you

Love the location- this hotel is my go to when in Addis. The staff are kind and helpful and the hotel is always clean. There is always hot water for showers. I love Hotel Lobelia

On this occasion something made me feel disappointed. I paid for the room upfront on booking.com and yet the hotel charged us once again due to the fact that one of the rooms had an additional person - if we had booked the room initially for two people we wouldn’t have paid extra- and yet because one person used the extra bed in the suite we were made to pay the same amount over again. This did not and does not make sense . my husband and I paid less than our friend plus one extra in another room! No logic in that at all. When we asked to speak to someone on the desk the last we spoke to couldn’t understand our point and why we were upset we had paid double for one room! In the end since I knew we were getting nowhere I said to forget it ( but still feel upset about this )
