Good location, comfortable bed and excellent internet connection

System of check-in, additional charges for extra hour, not taking into account the fact that I would be checking out earlier too. Just the idea to pay more for leaving luggage in the room, when hotel doesn't have such option for free - this is unacceptable.

A great location and a great price for Helsinki. Clean room with a kettle and coffee and tea. A little fridge. Can't complain.

The only thing that I disliked was that your code doesn't work until 16:00. And I understand that for the room itself, absolutely. What I'm talking about is that your code opens EVERY door. Including the front one. Which means if you arrive at 15:00 like I did, you're literally stuck outside in the freezing cold with no way to even gain entry into the building itself to shelter from the elements. Luckily for me, an employee happened to see me outside and let me in out of the cold, so I sat on the steps and waited until 16:00. It would be nice to have a separate door code that allowed people inside the building at the very least.

It's really a no fuss hotel - all instructions, check-in, checkout are transparent and digital. The room we got was spacious, but can imagine that some other rooms (based on the floor plan) could be small though. It was well maintained and very clean. It has even kettle, microwave and fridge. The location is amazing - walkable and central to most sightseeing places, cafes etc. Overall, great value for the spend! Highly recommend.

Beds could be double bed instead of two singles next to each other. Would recommend adding ceramic or plastic reusable bowls, cutlery, mugs to the kitchenette (not just the tiny paper cups and disposable spoons provided), since that makes the kitchenette more usable.

Great location, easy to walk to most major museums and attractions, and close connections by tram to more distant areas of the city. Good ventilation inside the room, even though the windows can't be opened. Appreciated the kettle for morning tea.

An air vent in the bathroom and the possibility to open windows for fresh air would have been great. The mattress and pillows could be better, they were a bit soft for my taste. An iron would also be welcome, especially for longer stays.

Considering the low price (67 euros per night), we were surprised by the functionality and comfort of the hotel. The location is also great. The bathroom is well ventilated and the kitchen in the room helped us prepare breakfast. Everything an unpretentious tourist needs

The windows cannot be opened and there was a constant slight draft, which became noticeable after a shower, but did not interfere with sleep, as the blankets were warm. Only a shower head built into the ceiling. It is difficult to take a shower without getting your head wet.

roomy for 2 adults & 2 kids (ages 11 & 13). comfortable beds & basic kitchen. bathroom was nice w/ the towel warmer, but could use more shelves & hooks for hanging up towels, clothes, etc.

luggage storage information should be advertised more clearly (no storage & local options available). it was definitely challenging to find out there is nowhere to store luggage & our flight arrived at 7am, but check-in was 2pm. we could have left our luggage at the train station, but didn't know & basically dragged it around helsinki until i called customer service & was told of 2 local area options. better blackout curtains - ours didn't fully cover the windows, so lots of light during the midnight sun summer.

Place was pretty clean and fully equipped. Location was great you can easily walk to center and there is supermarket in same street. There are extras beddings in the room and TV was quite functional. We would prefer again

As they mentioned there is no staff. Checkin for 16.00 is too late we paid for early check in. All rooms have passwords. If someone sees your room password they can access your room. It seems a bit unsafe but good part is all the corridors have many security cameras which would block this kind of issues.

The location of the hotel was perfect, next to the commercial and historical center but also on a walking distance to the train and bus station. Hotel was clean and beds were comfortable. The room and the hotel were clean overall and the room had the basis with towels, soap, tv, microwave, fridge and kettle. The online customer service helped me. It is a very basic hotel, but if you don't expect more, it is fine.

There is no reception and you need to enter with a code. I had some issues to receive the code the first day and I had to call the emergency number but I received it correctly the second day that I stayed there.

The room was very comfortable. The shower was perfect and the pillows were the most comfortable I have ever encountered. I wish I knew where they got them because I'd love to buy a set. The bed looked decent. Was it decent? No, it was far better than decent. It was extremely comfortable and I got some of the best sleep I ever got while traveling. The view was irrelevant since I was either taking the perfect shower or getting the best sleep. I loved this room.

There were some steps to building I was in. Not a huge deal, but I had some heavy luggage. Any other trip would have been fine. Even so, it wasn't impossible.

The location is amazing, and with self check-in getting in and out of the hotel/room is a breeze. The layout of our room was really clever, where the red sci-fi space pod-looking area that contains the shower and toilet divides the room into a sleeping area and a working/lounging/eating area. For the price, Omena is a convenient option for travelers who plan to eat breakfast in the city (although the hotel does offer a breakfast voucher, too) and use the room to recharge between bouts of hanging out in the city.

It had its usual Omena hotel quirks: our shades were broken so they didn't go all the way down (there were curtains to compensate, but with the Finnish midnight sun all shading options are very welcome!); shower curtain was also jammed; I woke up twice during the night to an unsettling smell that was kind of like gas and burning - later realizing it must've been the pizza place downstairs that was open until 4am, and the smells wafted straight into our room. In the grand scheme of things, though, nothing that bad. I'll still definitely come back!
