+excellent location in order to visit and explore Helsinki +very large bed and very comfortable sleep +every room has a own a/c +rooms are modern and are very well equipped (fridge, iron with table, flatscreen) +personnel is exceptionally friendly and helpful (lost one of my key cards and they simply replaced it without any extra charge for the lost one) +breakfast: very huge choice with very fresh fruits and local dishes and the best thing: is is complimentary to the accommodation +breakfast times during weekend is until 11, excellent +Check-Out is until 12, excellent +excellent reminders for sustainable behavior (e.g. to reuse the towels, or to shut the water tap while you brush your teeth, or to just take so much on your plate you can really eat, in order to avoid waste

Only really minor observations: -two storage places in the room were not 100 % clean on arrival -refilling time for items empty during breakfast on weekend took a bit longer, but I guess that is part of the sustainability policy in order to avoid wasted food

We enjoyed pretty much everything about the hotel, from its style, spaciousness and comfort. The breakfast buffet was quite the treat for the eyes, but slightly less for the tastebuds. It was however very extensive. The location of the hotel is quite central, with the design district and interesting stores just around the corner. It was also easy to reach on foot after arriving very late at the train station.

We didn't really find fault with anything during our stay, which was admittedly short. The only real criticism could be directed towards the breakfast buffet, which we found to taste rather plain. And the coffee was unfortunately not up to standard, but that's where the local cafes can help.

The room is very big and the bed is really comfortable after hours of flights, that is all you need. The bathroom had a bathtub which I requested, thank you for that, it was really great to have it. Reception staff is very kind and they make you feel welcome. They also checked me in earlier, which was highly appreciated. Breakfast is really big, not for my taste unfortunately, but I am sure 99% of the guests will like it. The light system is awesome.

No shoes or bathrobe, which was kind of bad not to have. You can not open the windows to the room. An important thing is that you can’t go higher than 23 degrees in the room, for me it was really really cold, most of the time I was just staying covered with both duvets. Over night it tends to go back to 20-21, that’s really a shame.

Our booking had breakfast included, and it was very tasty. The room was very clean, the curtains were thick so we could block out the light and get a restful sleep each night. The location was very central, we could get almost everywhere we needed on foot. When we checked out, we forgot a jacket in our room - we let the hotel know via Booking chat, they gave us the reception email address so we could coordinate and have one of our friends in Helsinki go and pick it up. The reception staff was also very prompt in answering any questions on Booking chat before our stay there.

The room had a TV and Chrome Cast, but the Chrome Cast did not work for us. We let the front desk know, they promised us it would be looked into by their maintenance team, but then never got back to us, so we ended up not being able to play any music or any movies on the TV for the entire stay there. Their wifi did not work for one of our phones - when we asked the front desk, they said it was because the phone was too old - the phone in question is from 2020. They were not able to offer any other wifi option. Also, and this may have been on us - even though it's a 3 star hotel, they did NOT offer complimentary slippers and robes, which we were expecting. They did, however, offer them to us to make up for the Chrome Cast and wifi not working.

We had a spacious room with a comfortable bed, strong Wi-Fi, and it was well insulated from outside noise. Bathroom was roomy with a very nice shower. Hotel staff were professional, friendly and efficient. We had a small electrical issue in our room and it was rectified in 15 minutes. Breakfast provided the first highlight of every day, with many selections for all tastes. The hotel location is convenient to restaurants and malls, as well as tramlines for visiting other parts of Helsinki. We really enjoyed our stay at Scandic Hub and would definitely stay here again on future visits to Helsinki.

The only negative was the lack of a desk or countertop in the room. I work with a laptop for my consulting business and, at least in our room, there was no place to do that comfortably. However, on the first floor there are long tables with power outlets, so there I found a very nice workspace.

Breakfast was wonderful, good selection, good quality and enough space to sit. Missed cappuccino but OK, Finland is not Italy. Location is spot in the center, close to everything, including public transport. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacey and nicely decorated, good size bathroom.

There was no coffee/tea brewer in the room, it was available in the lobby but that meant going down to get it and pay for it too. Missed body lotion, normally available in hotel rooms. Windows did not open which gives me a claustrophobic feeling and hallway carpets were pretty stained (maybe a darker color would be a better idea with lots of people walking around and spilling stuff all day and night...).

Very central location, beautiful modern room, comfortable bed, lovely bathroom, delicious buffet breakfast, and the hotel doesn’t promote this enough: FREE BIKES to borrow! The 7-speed step-through bikes are excellent quality too, and riding one around absolutely made my long weekend in Helsinki! They can even lend you a helmet. Staff were also super accommodating when I needed to use a shower after checking out.

Netflix access would have been really nice. I *possibly* could have logged into my own Netflix account on my phone and Bluetooth connected to the TV but I didn’t manage to. Coffee included at breakfast is filter only (you can pay for an espresso).

Room was nice and modern. TV had option to connect our Youtube so we were happy. Plus an english channel was available. The breakfast was the best we've encountered in most of our travels. Large and plentiful with lots of options. The room was clean. Bed wasn't our favorite, as it's about a six inch foam mattress and the pillows were a bit larger than we are used to. Location was central to everything we wanted to see.

The mattress and pillows were not our favorite and woke up stiff. The wall has an angle near the bed and I hit my head three times, so left with a couple bumps to remember for a few days.

The hotel is fancy, the shower was great and the room is a great size. You get a lot of pillows and all the lights come on slowly when you enter the room which is cool. The breakfast was great, I'm gluten free so this is always a worry but they had a separate gf section and the same for vegan/vegetarian. They had a separate gluten free toaster, along with bread, cereal, biscuits, pastry, cake and porridge. Allergens were labelled on everything else, breakfast also had yogurts, cold meats and cheeses, fruit, cooked breakfast and pastries/bread. The hotel has a sauna and a decent size gym. We couldn't hear anything from our room which was great too. The security is great as well, you have to scan your card to use the lift.

The hairdryer wasn't great and the sauna wasn't mixed so I couldn't spend time with my partner in there. The hotel was a tiny bit out of the way but nothing major, 15 min walk to the port and market square.

Perfect central but quiet location in the best part of town,opposite a beautiful park and a short walk to Stockmans! Extensive breakfast,spacious room with great view of rooftops on floor 7.The room was discreetly adapted for accessibility very useful for my husband.Staff very helpful and efficient.

The room got very hot during the day despite keeping curtains closed-it reached 26 degrees even though the air con was on. Fortunately it cooled after midnight so we did sleep.Outside temperatures during the day time were hot and it was very sunny so it probably wouldn't be a problem at other times of the year
