Good place in the city center. All you need for a small travel. Free coffe at the reception. Clean rooms and good bed

You have to know that the hotel is on the crouded pub street and it can be noisy on weekends. Also some people can find a bathroom too small.

Fourth time here, fourth time amazed. We highly appreciate the cleanliness of the hotel. It is always cleaned in details at any stay we have made in the hotel. The room is sincerely very good, the bathroom is very pleasant and well cleaned. The equipment is great. Please keep in mind that the wooden entrance furniture is only to store shoes, no bags even light one (we unfortunately broke it, sorry again - if a Hotel Finn staff read this comment, much obliged for your understanding and professionalism). Each room has it's own decoration. We noticed that the hotel uses Marimekko brand home equipment which are, out of their price, very qualitative and design and represent well Finnish style. Customers have the possibility to securely store luggage in their own lockers for free on 5th and 6th floor. The hotel also provides free coffee and tea to bring in rooms or to start the day in the middle of Helsinki. Fazer chocolate, Wasa snacks and others can be found for purchase at a very reasonable price for that kind of service. Hotel Finn is located in Kamppi district. Everything is around the hotel, you can't be more in the city center. Plenty of options to eat all around, special attention for Nanapo Sushi restaurant next to Tennispalatsi and if you have no time or if you are late, Taco Bell is literally at 20 meters from the hotel entrance and is opened from 10:00 to 05:00 in the morning.

Nothing bad, we felt a little cold even if heater was at maximum (it depends from every person so not taken into account). Didn't affect the quality of the stay =P

The property was in an amazing location, everything was nearby. Helsinki cathedral was also a 15 minute walk which is quite enjoyable. Many cafes and restaurants nearby. Staff were really nice, I left my item at the room and they offered to deliver it to me which it arrived well and in perfect condition.

During room cleaning, they didn’t clean the room well. I would come back to the room with tissues on the floor…bathrooms didn’t look clean either. Once, we came back to a room not clean at all, the beds were not made despite the room cleaning sign ( we came back at night after leaving in the morning ) the receptionist was very apologetic about this but we hope this can be improved for next time

This hotel was in a good location in central Helsinki, within walking distance of many of the main attractions like the Cathedral, Rock Church and port. Our room was basic but very spacious. There were 2 chairs and a kettle was provided in the room. Our room was very quiet as it faced an internal courtyard and there was also a double door. The radiators were very effective in the cold winter month that we visited.

The shower had great hot water and pressure, but it was a wet room, so the water spread everywhere on the floor and the toilet, even though the drainage was pretty good.

I had a great stay at Hotel Finn. The staff was very friendly and helpful - they looked up information for me on how to use my transit pass. The room was clean and comfortable. There was a little coffee/tea bar in the reception that was a very nice extra touch. The location was fantastic. A few minutes walk from Helsinki Central Station (you need to go through a little covered shopping street to get there). For budget travelers, there is a Lidl budget grocery store in a mall a block away and a K- Supermarket (has a huge selection of ready to eat foods) in the basement of Kamppi station which is also a few minutes walk away. From Kamppi station it is a quick bus ride to Seurasaari Open Air Museum - on the way to Kamppi station you will pass hiking stores and craft/yarn stores. Hotel Finn is also a quick walk to the waterfront where you can go to the outdoor and indoor markets and take the public ferry to Suomelinna Fortress. Also, there were many restaurants near the hotel. You can probably not beat this hotel for location, the general hotel itself (clean, friendly staff) and the price. I would highly recommend.

There was no clock in the room - but, this was the same for the other hotels I stayed at in Scandinavia - so this could be a very normal thing. Not a big deal, but I just found it odd having to find my cell phone each time I needed to see what time it was.

I arrived late and the reception was closed. The personnel was very nice and gave me all the information I needed and I asked for, making the procedure easy to follow. The room was clean, so was the bathroom. The kettle worked well and I could make a coffee early in the morning. The hotel is very close to the Central Railway Station, so I walked.

First of all, I did not like that I was informed about the renovation after I paid. The renovation of the hotel made impossible for me to open the window. (which was covered by paint). If I knew I would not have made the reservation. Second, the shower was not working.

When all you need is a sleeping spot in the heart of the city, this was perfect. Nice and tidy. The room was quiet despite the nightlife on the streets below. I especially appreciate the convenience of the baggage lockers, for continued sightseeing with an easy mind after check-out. Complimentary coffee & tea in the reception is also a plus. They have breakfast deals with some nearby cafés - which I prefer over hotel breakfasts anyway, for experiencing the city even more.

The bathroom gets a little too warm with the floor heating always on.

Staff kindness and availability Perfect location of the hotel - close to the city centre and central station, near fun pubs and restaurants. The size of the shower/bathroom was small, as expected but the bedroom in itself was a good size. We were pleasantly surprised about that.

Not really the staff's fault but for one of our 3-night stay, a woman was being very loud (started around 10 p.m. and stopped around 3 a.m.), shouting and throwing stuff. As she was in another section the hotel we had no access to, we couldn't complain to her directly and there were no more staff during that time at the hotel. All we could do was hope that the woman would stop after another guest started shouting repeatedly at her to stop bothering people... (Note she didn't until 3 a.m.) The two other nights were uneventful and great. So hopefully, it was just bad luck

Location - Hotel Finn was very central and as a solo traveller meant that everything I needed (supermarkets, main attractions, restaurants) were all within close walking distance. Cost - Helsinki is very expensive city. I stayed in the city for almost a week and the cost of Hotel Finn meant I had somewhere comfortable to stay that didn’t break the bank. Safety - As a solo traveller, my number one is choosing a hotel where I feel safe. Sometimes that can be hard to determine from reviews and photos, but I felt safe for the duration of my stay. The room auto locks behind you, you need key access to enter the foyer to your rooms as well.

Timings - At reception, you can purchase drinks (soft drinks and water) but only during times when reception is open. Implementing something like a drinks vending machine could alleviate reception having to do every transaction and would mean that guest have access Tom the drinks at all hours. Noise - Walls are thin. If you have neighbours, it’s important to be extra considerate. This goes for in the corridors and in your rooms (ie. TV volume).

Excellent choice for visiting the center of Helsinki, strategic and very central location and super competitive price. The girl at the reception was very kind and gave us an upgrade of the room and was very helpful when I forgot a sweatshirt in the room, and she eagerly explained to me how to get in contact with the Finnish post office. ideal for young people who do not need a hotel with many services (there is no restaurant service) Rooms in perfect condition, very bright and with all the necessary comforts
