20Room is clean, minimal (nordic style) and convenient. The bed & bedding were comfortable, only a few mins walk from the local train station "Heinikkokuja" and 2 train stops (10min) to Helsinki Airport and 30min into Helsinki City. There are R-Kioski & K-Mart Supermarket just across the road and hired bikes or scooters available in the surrounding area. Self-check-in/out was convenient. You can book a taxi by pressing a button by the front door. Shared Bathrooms and Shower rooms were clean, equipped with hair dryer (bring your own toiletries). Shared kitchen was very helpful. Loving the several Chilled-out zones, feeling like from home to home. My only little suggestion would be to get the dishwasher fixed ASAP and if the TV in our room were linked to Wifi then we could have been able to watch our preferred entertainments cast from our mobile phone. We had enjoyed staying at 20Rooms and if I were visiting Helsinki again I would defo staying there again. Well done 20Rooms!

Dishwasher wasn't working properly, tried many times to get it work but failed. TV was only provide local channels in Finnish. Was unable to link my phone to the TV for You Tube or Netflix etc.

At first for coming inside the building itself I thought it was going to be something strange for the old state it was, but once I put the secondary code to enter the facility of 20Rooms itself I was amazed how nice everything was, I didn't even realized that in the middle of the hall there is the kitchen with all the things you need to cook your own food, plus fridges/coffee machine/drink machine (this one topay additionally for with your card). And the room was very nice, for a solo person that's all I needed and it was totally more than enough; the toilets and bathrooms were all super clean, everyone had the good aspect of cleaning everything after themselves for the next person! P.S. During nights, it might happen to hear distant snore sounds (if there is any guest who does it), I'd advice for whoever is sensitive to noises to bring/buy ear plugs, as that might be helpful; I had the first night a bit difficult as there were 2/3 people snoring at the same time and I forgot to bring my plugs in case, but next day those guests checked out and after I haven't heard any more snore/loud noises during night! Nice location from only 2 train stop away, I recommend for whoever will come and visit Finland is a good "middle" point for where to be, just 35 minutes train away from Helsinki! I'll come back here every time I'll need it to visit more! Thanks to all the staff for being so nice in all general aspects!

The walls are not that thick for covering loud noises, but nothing that a pair of ear plugs would not be able to resolve ;)

The hostel is located in quiet neighborhood 10 minutes by car from Helsinki Airport. Very nice option to spend a night before or after your flight. Everything is very clean and cozy. Nice kitchen, comfortable lounge area, hot showers, fresh linen. I particularly liked the idea of self check in and digital locks on the doors. Nearby there is a supermarket and a train station form where you can get to the airport in several minutes.

The sound isolation could be a little better. If your neighbors from the room next door are having a fight or a romantic evening, or just snore loud you will be definitely aware of it.

Very convenient check-in/check-out - with door codes that are provided before stay it's possible to arrive even very late at night and also leave early - no need to spend time on communication with staff. 2. Rooms are quiet, spacey and very clean. Bed linen is crisp. Provided with towel per bed. 3. There is a TV with decent selection of local/Finnish channels. 4. Wi-Fi is free with strong signal in room. 5. Possibie to open window for fresh air ventilation. 6. Couple of common/rest/relaxation areas on hotel floor. 7. Friendly/safe guests. 8. Clean and tidy common WC/shower area with supply of soap, toilet paper.

Wanted to grab a late night snack but there wasn't a vending machine present on the hotel premises/floor. Nevertheless, the coffee machine/hot water pot was operational.

perfect location for an airport stop over (5 minutes/€3 by train from the airport) then a short 5 minute walk. self check in concept worked well, staff were easy to contact by message. nicely appointed shared space including lounge and kitchen. room was spacious and decorated nicely. thank you!

the key pads were noisy and I could hear when other rooms were entering them. communal space music was a little loud. but neither stopped me from sleeping.

The place was really quiet and only two stations away from Helsinki airport. The room was clean cosy, and bed comfortable. I liked the artistic and lively interior of the living room spaces. Accessing the room via codes was appreciated.

The neighbour next door who was snoring heavily. Fortunately, his "music" bothered only one night.

very clean quite and connected. warm and common spaces are really tidy, clean and well kept. small supermarkets are around the corner and are open until 9pm usually. equipped kitchen can be used for a meal consumed onsite

all is good. sometimes you are afraid to forget codes for the rooms. so it would be better to leave a note or phone at the main entrance in case someone wishes to call the staff if forgotten codes phone and all inside the room

Price meets the facilities perfectly. Toilets and showers were free whenever there became a need to use them. Didn't use the kitchen or common spaces, but they looked very comfortable and functional.

Of course a private bathroom or toilet in a room would make the experience excellent. However this was not an issue at all. There was a lack of power sockets in a room, so adding another extension cord to it would be nice.

Excellent location - the train station, a bike rental spot, a small supermarket and a couple of restaurants are in 5 min walking distance. Liked the self check-in process and the fact, that there were no keys, only door codes. The room and all shared spaces were extremely clean and nicely designed.

There could be more power sockets in the room, especially near the bed (had to plug out the night lamp to charge my phone).

Very clean room, with self check in. The rooms are large, and the beds are comfortable. There are many social areas, although I did not stay long enough to use them. There are also multiple bathrooms, so you don't have to worry about rushing for a shower. It is also easy to access the airport, as Tikkurilla station is close, however, if you have a lot of luggage it could be difficult walking from the train station to the hostel.

The walls were quite thin, and so in the morning I could hear the people in the room next to me watching TV, as well as a baby crying through the night and in the morning. Definitely take headphones or earplugs!
