Two of the three days I was there, the same girl was working (she checked us in). She was the absolute sweetest!!! The girl who checked us out was very professional. The person in front of me was kind of yelling at her about something that was not at allll her fault, nor the housekeeping staff’s! I worked in hotels, and I know how that feels. She held herself together so well, and was very professional. She was very kind when it was finally my turn to speak to her. I wish I had paid attention to the two girls’ names, because I would love to give them a shoutout! The neighborhood it was in, was a little sketchy to me, as I’m from a small town, and don’t see much of that at all. But overall it wasn’t bad. It’s walking distance from some adorable shops, and a beach access!

The rooms are a tiny bit run down, for example, the corners between the walls and showers were a little grimy. Definitely needed a deep cleaning. But overall, it was not gross! So don’t get me wrong there. Just needed some touch ups that all hotels need after a while. My bed was clean and comfortable, and that’s what matters the most to me!

I really liked the helpful maid Emily. She assisted me with moving to a more comfortable secure room and brought me an extra blanket!

Unfortunately the front desk person needs better customer service training. I was told blatantly there were no rooms available for early check-in. I was aware that there were rooms with a small fee and it took me 3 requests to get a secure room. He lightened up when he realized that he was not being helpful. He may have been judging my appearance as I had just gotten off of my brothers 47 ft sailboat and hadn't showered for a couple days. But I had a pre-paid reservation, so he should have been more accommodating with my request!

Got an ocean view room and the view was AMAZING! The whole big window looked right out on the ocean without anything blocking the view. I slept on the comfy clean bed with the windows open to the sounds of crashing waves. Very quiet part of town after sun down so the ocean and crickets were the soundscape. Very clean room with soft lighting options. Will return to this town JUST to stay at this hotel!

Beach access is a few blocks away so it's a bit of a walk. However, very cute neighborhood and town so the walk isn't terrible.

The location is amazing - I especially loved being able to watch the waves roll in from the comfort of bed! The staff were very friendly and everything was ready when we got there. The room was clean and tastefully decorated. The bed was reasonably comfortable. Everything worked fine and was very clean. The pool felt lovely, although we didn't make it in for a swim. They were repairing the hot tub when we got there. Reading other reviews I was expecting this place to be less nice than it was. So I was pleasantly surprised! We would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again.

The only small hiccup was that our room keys had to be reactivated since the didn't work the first time we tried them. But that was no big deal!

Beautiful room, even if I couldn't see out the windows (so dirty!). Having an elevator is very helpful because my dog has arthritis and would have needed to be carried up the three flights of stairs every time we went out. Elevator is old and spooky, but at least it worked.

I understand that the breakfast is a "grab n go" style for now, but they could at least kept the breakfast items stocked at 9am. For being a short window, there wasn't much left by the time we got there both days. Bed wasn't terribly comfortable, missing a towel rack/hanger in the bathroom, not to mention the obvious patch job done on the tub looked cheap. Couldn't see out our windows for our ocean view because they were so dirty.

It is right next to the beach. Everything was clean. I never heard the neighbors while inside the room. The staff member (Kris—I hope I'm spelling that right) was very nice and gracious about the late-night check-in with computer system issuses. The breakfast selection was small (yogurt, cereal bars, muffins), but still pretty good. I would stay here again.

There was no fan in the bathroom. There were no towel racks. The computer system seemed to be giving them trouble (with over-booking and last-minute bookings). The beds were a little firm (in a springy way) for my comfort and one was quite noisy.

I see tons of people leaving terrible reviews. Come on....you rent a BUDGET room but expect 5 star amenities? Lol. I rate those people ZERO stars as humans. Our second trip here. $80 a night for ocean view, beautiful location beach stay for four. That is CHEAP. Plus, there's a pool and continental breakfast. We couldn't do two nights at Nye beach otherwise. The place is just fine if you're not a pretentious, self absorbed jackwagon!

For what I paid, I was not disappointed at all. Our second trip here. Will absolutely return.

- Room very clean. - location spot on - parking no issue - staff very friendly and accommodating - note. We decided to stay a second night & the same room rate was honoured from the 1st night. That was a $100+ saving so worth considering

- smell of cannabis but it's legalised. Easy way to prevent it wafting in your room is to stick a towel on the floor along the door. - we were in a ground floor & yep soundproofing is poor. Didn't bother us, but as for a 2nd floor room all will be good for noise & dope smell! - most windows in the complex were blown with some heavy condensation obstructing the view. However, a load of new windows were at reception so work ahead to replace. I wouldn't worry about a blown window, just get outside and sample the vista 👍 May be some issues but look beyond them - this is an ideal spot if you get the room rate at a good $
