Our recent stay at this hotel exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the staff who were not only friendly but also highly professional. Whenever we faced any issues, they were quick to offer their expertise and assistance, making our stay smooth and enjoyable. We opted for a four-person room, which was surprisingly spacious. The room was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, ensuring a comfortable stay for all of us. Additionally, the cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, contributing further to our pleasant experience. The location of the hotel is its standout feature, situated directly above Osaka Station. This made our travel incredibly convenient, allowing easy access to various transportation options. Furthermore, the vicinity of the hotel is bustling with shopping and dining options, offering convenience and a wide range of choices for every taste.

43sq m room, but space layout not effective, toilet on left side and bathroom on right side of room. Entrance to room, long corridor, no place to put luggages. We were given corner room, quite a long walk from lift to room. Room was make up clean but the toilet floor & door was mouldy, contacted the hotel via contact provided by booking.com to ask them to clean but no response. As we were out early & back late during our first 3 nights of stay, so only manage to get the cleaning staff outside room on 4th day to clean the mould. Manage to feedback to front desk during check out. Showed them the video.

The hotel is situated right above Osaka Station. Very convenient location.

As Osaka Station is really busy and also has other connecting lines, it was difficult to locate the hotel even with direction from Google maps. Stayed here for 3 nights, and only on the last day then we figured out exactly how to navigate within the Station to the hotel. There were signboards to show the direction, but wasn't really helpful. Hotel room seems to be pretty aged, with visible stains spotted around the room. Size was pretty small, but was compensated with the convenience.

Easy access to amenities like restaurants, transport, shopping and so on. The view is nice. We are able to see the stations below and mountains beyond. we are able to see the sunrise and sunset. We like the heated toilet seat and anti fog mirror. We also like the chairs in the room. As we booked 2 rooms side by side, we can have everyone seated in the room nicely. The rooms are kept cleaned and neat everyday.

One of the rooms, the bath tub water was brownish. We dared not use the bath for soaking for the 7days we stayed there.

It wasn't s0 hard to find as the hotel was in the station itself. The staff were also accommodating to us and helped us when we asked questions. They also assisted and provided the needs that we requested for and the cleanliness of the rooms were superb!

I actually have nothing bad to say as the worth of our stay was equivalent to the services that they provided. However, if people are looking for spacious rooms (as in big spaces) I'm not sure if this will be to your liking. You can check out the other rooms that they have available as we only got the standard.

Convenient location. Nice rooftop bar with great service. Good for a quick stopover. I was hardly in the hotel as my schedule was very busy but it was good in general

Nothing against the hotel but I think Osaka in general is a very messy and difficult to navigate city. The signals were pretty bad and I was going around the circles wasting my time. once I got to know the route, it was ok though. One criticism I have is that for a 5 star (I think it's 5?) I would expect that my luggage would be delivered to my room, especially if I'm checking in very late. This was rather disappointing that I had to collect it from reception (I left it in the morning). This is a basic service in the West but seam to be none existat in Japan in general unless you are staying in Ryokan.

Right at Osaka Station and conveniently located in the same building as the Nintendo, Pokemon, Capcom and Mugiwara store. Easy to find the hotel as there are signs at the station directing the location of the hotel at South Gate (Super helpful for those that may struggle with direction). Eco friendly hotel but can replenish resources upon request. Very friendly hotel staff who were happy to assist with having luggage delivered to the next hotel.

Lack of natural light, few scruff marks on the window panel and walls but didn't discourage the stay

The train from Kansai Airport drops you off right at Osaka Station. If you head towards the South Exit you will see Hotel Granvia. So location is excellent, room was clean, bed was comfortable, good quality toiletries in the bathroom. So convenient to have direct access to all the shops, restaurants and trains in Osaka Station. Excellent staff - very attentive. I recommend this hotel and will most definitely stay here again.

I got turned around trying to find the hotel after getting off the train the first time. My fault, I should have researched that part more. Once I got my bearings it was no problem.

The single bedroom I booked was adequate for a solo traveler like me. The best thing about the hotel is it is conveniently located above Osaka Station on the 19th floor of the South Gate Building. Going to USJ was a breeze. Once you exit the hotel’s lobby at level 1, you can access the train platforms via the Central entrance which leads you to the Osaka loop line and Universal City Station is about 5-6 stops away via Platform 1. Going to Kansai Airport? It’s just as easy. Hop on the Express Train (be sure to board carriages 1-4 only) and it’s about 1.5 hours to the airport. The anchor tenant of the building is Daimaru and it occupies a number of floors. Level 16 has many food options and most restaurants close at 9:30 to 10:00pm. After a good meal, take the lift up to the concierge at level 19 and then hop into the guest lifts up to your floor without breaking a sweat. Two thumbs up!

I wished the single bedroom had a washing machine. There is laundry service but it can be quite pricey.

If you travel by train and can afford it, look no further. It’s located right in the Osaka train station (not the Shinkansen Shin-Osaka one, the one one subway stop away), and right in the lively Umeda district. You are so high up that you don’t hear the trains at all and have a superb city view. Many choices of restaurants in the hotel, and dozens more in the shopping mall floors just below. The memorable teppanyaki dinner in the hotel was worth the whole stay. With of course the level of cleanliness and welcoming staff that you only find in Japan.

Nothing we did not like about it!
